Abstract

Learning is often associated with the process of acquiring knowledge, which is carried out through formal institutions such as schools and universities. In fact, broadly speaking, learning is a process that every individual always goes through throughout their life. So it can be interpreted that learning always follows a person as long as that individual is still alive. So it is very appropriate that the term long-lived education is a great concept for living life. In line with the concept of learning, of course, it is also related to problems in life that will always exist as long as a person is still alive. This means that no one lives without problems, big or small; there are still problems that must be resolved. Then a person learns from life's problems. Learning and problems are essentially life itself. Learning from problems or learning to solve problems will always be present in human life (University of Life).

Abstract

The philosophy of science is understood as a branch of philosophy that emerged in the late 19th century or entered the 20th. The development of science and the development of education reached their peak in the nineteenth century at the time of August Comte and his successors, who tended to measure the truth of science on the scale of the philosophical flow based on something real, making science more and more independent of the basic assumptions of its philosophies. The philosophy of science also tries to introduce science in its entirety. In essence, the philosophy of science can stand in the middle of the branch of science with various rules and guidelines for the application of educational principles. As for the relationship of the philosophy of science to the development of education, it is a human effort to understand the concept and method of a discipline of science. Changes and developments have brought philosophies into a configuration by showing how science evolves with each discipline.

Abstract

This research aims to find answers to what is being questioned among the Inhil community mentioned above. This research found the answer: it turns out that a Muslim is allowed to keep a dog, as long as there is a certain need. For example, keep dogs for hunting purposes, guard livestock, and guard plants (gardens). Based on these findings, Muslims are not prohibited from keeping dogs. In fact, Islamic law is flexible; when conditions are normal (without any particular reason), keeping a dog is haram, but when conditions are not normal, then the law is permissible to keep a dog. So what Abah did was indirectly, he wanted to provide enlightenment to society in a subtle way, that in responding to every phenomenon, we should not always think in normal conditions, but we must also look at abnormal conditions and how Islamic law provides alternatives. As is known, many of our people work in the plantation sector. Therefore, we must know about this issue; otherwise, It is not impossible that the "su uzzhan" (bad thoughts) of the Inhil people towards Abah Lukman in the past will happen again in the future.

Abstract

The concept of online learning is a form of innovation; of course, it cannot be separated from the role of technology. Technology can simplify all needs in the teaching and learning process. In line with Tounder's opinion, digital technology in educational institutions is a means of supporting learning, either as a means of accessing learning resource information or as a means of supporting learning activities and related tasks. As technology continues to develop, there are currently many platforms that can help implement online learning. Learning innovation in the form of educational technology can be defined as theory and practice in designing, developing, utilizing, managing, and assessing processes and resources for learning. The internet is a relevant media if used to support the quality of Islamic religious education. Because it can provide convenience and speed in conveying information, the PAI learning process can run effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, technology plays a very important role. The flow of globalization certainly has positive and negative impacts on world society. To anticipate this impact, the role of social sciences education (IPS) is required because social sciences education is very closely related to social issues that occur in society. Apart from that, social studies education learning materials are closely related to the nation's social and cultural values. In solving social problems, social studies education must play an active role. One approach that can be used to solve this social problem is the reflective inquiry approach. Through the reflective inquiry approach, students are taught how to use social skills to solve factual problems that occur in everyday life and in society. Social studies education must be able to help students control themselves in life and apply these values to their behavior in society. Social studies education must be able to develop people into good citizens, familiar with all elements of the environment, wise and prudent in building relationships, and exploring and developing various forms of elements of the existing cultural environment. Social studies education not only emphasizes developing cognitive aspects such as the ability to master social science concepts or theories, the ability to think critically and analytically, or mastering social skills, but can also develop students' affective aspects, which include developing students' attitudes, values, and morals. The reflective inquiry approach will encourage students to use more critical and creative thinking to solve social problems and participate more actively in society. Because the learning material from social sciences education is very closely related to the nation's social and cultural values.

Abstract

God affirms that man is at the top of his creation, with a degree of perfection and uniqueness that is superior to all other creatures. (QS.At-Tin:4). But God warned him that he was not yet perfected and that he had to struggle to be perfected. (QS.Asy-Syams:7-10). This perfecting process is possible because the human being is in essence philosophical, intellectual, and intelligent, plus the coming of the apostles of the Lord, bringing the Scriptures as guidance to mankind's life. (QS.An-Nisa:174). It will not be accomplished if man does not use his understanding and does not follow the guidance of God. Education is simply a process of humanizing man; "man is the core of the educational process", that is, man is the nucleus of an educational procedure. It shows that human beings are both objects and perpetrators of education. Therefore, the formulation and implementation of education must always be based on the concept of human rights. The potential of human reason is capable of producing science, which must be cultivated and developed in an optimal and integrated way through the educational process. He is the God of the earth, and he is the Lord of all things.

Abstract

In the past, in the territory of Tahtul Yaman along the city of Jambi, Jambi Province, there was one of the Kyai Pondok who was called by the community "Jambi Lion," because his horned behavior was similar to that of Umar bin Khaththab, the second Prophet, as it is known that Umar ben Khatthhab was called "Sand Lion" because of his brave attitude, both to friends and opponents, but his attitude was only against "a person or group of people who violated the rules of Allah Ta'ala. It's like gambling and drinking, and that's whatKyaiMuhammadJeddawidid. In this study, the author uses the basis of the historical method, that is, through four stages: heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography (penulisan). While his theory is qualitative theory, library research, and interviews, Kyai Jeddawi has a brave, firm, and intelligent attitude. That's why the title was embedded in Kyai Jeddawi. However, it is worth noting that the attitude shown by Kyai is focused only on matters related to Allah’s Shariah when among his people who deliberately violate Like the boys who are drunk in the middle of the highway and the women who are in the midst of the road, so is Kyai Jeddawi acting. Besides, he never interfered with the activities of society, but "it is society itselfthatsometimesknowsitself."If you look further, the presence of a figure like Kyai Jeddawi is very much needed by the Muslims of this era because his attitude is much more helpful to society than the "action of the police." Therefore, Jambi feels that since the death of Kyai Jeddawi in 1988, they have lost a figure such as Kyai.

Abstract

The Banjar people who are in Indragiri Hilir district are one of the examples of ethnic groups that have good social capital and social networks. Their success in adapting and interacting with the various ethnic groups that exist makes them successful in the expedition. The success of the Banjar people in Indragiri Hilir is not only supported by a good work ethic but also because of their success in building social networks between their fellow ethnicities as well as with the various existing ethnic groups. This research will examine the role of social capital and social networks owned by Banjar people in the formation of interethnic relations that exist in Indragiri Hilir district. Banjar people in the concept of this research are people or ethnic descendants of Banjar who originated from South Kalimantan and now have long lived and settled in Indragiri Hilir district. The migration of Banjar people to Indragiri Hilir has been going on for decades. Their arrival in this region was not independent of the political and economic conditions that occurred in their area of origin at the time. Due to political and financial pressure in their region of origin, they migrated to various parts of Indonesia, in particular to Indragiri Hilir district. In order to maintain their existence in the destination area, they are required to adapt. With the social capital they have, they can adapt to the new area through the social network. Through a case study approach, it is expected to reveal various phenomena of migration, social capital, and social networks among Banjar people in Indragiri Hilir district.

Abstract

Religion is the truth that comes from God, and religion has the value of the ultimate. It is only God who knows the truth, and he is the only one who understands the truth. Through the library study approach, there are various leaders in Islam, including the words Khalifah, Ulil Amri, Imam, and Ro’in. There are two forms of people's paradigms of Islamic leadership: the formalistic paradigm and the substantive paradigm. It is not only God’s will, but it is also His will, and it is His will that he will be the Lord of all the worlds. The ideal leader according to the Islamic concept is a leader who practices the basic principles of leadership in Islam, such as the principle of Tauhid (QS.an-Nisa:48, QS.al-Ikhlas:1-4), the principles of Mutyawarah (Qs. al-Imran:159), the principles of justice (QC.an-Nisa:58, QC.al-Maidah:8), the principle of equality (QD. Al-Huzarat:13), and the principle of responsible freedom. (QS.al-Baqarah:256, QS.al-Kahfi:29). In addition to the above principles, an ideal leader is one who has leadership like what has been explained by the Prophet (peace be upon him), because in him there is a good teaching, which is reflected in the nature or character of the prophet (Siddik), Tabligh (delivering the truth), Trust (believing), and Fathannah.

Abstract

This research aims to learn and understand the application of the thought of a philosopher named Ibnu Miskawih as a source of learning and education, aqidah. Education itself has a very broad meaning, but here education has the meaning of a change of system for the better. Education can always change to any side, and aqidah is the basic beliefs or fundamental beliefs of the religion followed by man. Often,  there is denial against it in the name of education and aqidah, which starts with the debate and controversy about the teaching of education. Ibnu Miskawih is a Muslim philosopher, and he has made a great contribution to Muslim education, especially in the realm of Aqidah. This thought is adopted for the purposes of research, where man, with his mind, is able to survive and determine what should be done and obliged to be left. The fruit of the thought of Ibnu Miskawih is more focused on man and education, Aqidah, where this aqidah is the way to God, even more in this modern era, which indirectly results in a small number of shifts in Aqidah.
