Abstract

The problem in this study is the role of the head of the madrasah in school-based management (MBS) in MI Al Islamiyah Island Kijang Reteh Riteh Indragiri Hilir district, whatever obstacles and supportive factors are faced, and what efforts are made by the head of the madrasah in school-based management (MBS) at MI Al Islamiyah Island Kijang Reteh Indragiri Hilir district. The purpose of this research is to know how the roles of the leader of the madrasaah in school-based management (MBs) in MI Al Islamiah Island Kiyang Retteh Indragi Hilir District Based on the analysis of the data, the conclusion is: first, to know what obstacle factors and supporting factors are faced, and second, to find out what efforts have been made by the head of a madrasaha in the management of schools (MBAs) at MII Islamiyah island, Kijanga Rateh Madrasai district, Indrahi Hilir. Second, the inhibitory and supportive factors faced by the head of the madrasah are funds or limited data sources relying only on the funds of the boss, and the staff of experts related to management are all focused on the head. Supportive factors are seeking funds from the government and the public, and there are some teachers continuing their studies in major education management so that it will make it easier to run the matrasah with little value or rely entirely on the head of the school. Thirdly, the efforts made by the head of the madrasah are to socialize the concept of school-based management (MBS) to all the citizens of the madrasah, to analyze the situation of the matrasah and outside the school, to formulate a goal, to choose the measures to solve the problem, and to realize the plans that have been made by making the programs to realize the short-term plan of management-based school (MBS).

Abstract

The problem in this research is that the physical elements of several semester 4 students of Penjaskesrek, Indragiri University are still not optimal, such as student balance that is not optimal which causes students to get out of the running track line or touch their running partners. Then the explosive power of the student's leg muscles is also not optimal, as a result the student does not get good propulsion when starting the 100 meter run. Then the coordination of motion is also not optimal so that it has an impact on the results of student running which is slowed down, then the endurance of the student's leg muscles is still not optimal, this can be seen from the lack of increase in student speed to the finish line. The purpose of this study was to determine the Contribution of Limb Muscle Explosive Power to the Short Distance Running Results of Penjaskesrek Students Batch 2022 at Indragiri Islamic University.The type of this research is correlation. The population and sample in this study were Semester 4 Students of Penjaskesrek Class of 2022 at Indragiri Islamic University, totaling 15 people. The research instrument used was the standing broadjump test and short distance running. The data analysis technique used is the correlation value test. Based on the results of the research that has been done, the following conclusions can be drawn: There is a Contribution of Explosive Power of the Leg Muscles to the Short Distance Running Results of Physical Education, Health and Recreation Students of the Islamic University of Indragiri by 63.36% with a value of rcount = 0.796 > rtable = 0.514 and tcount = 4.73 > ttable = 1.771.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana hubungan keseimbangan terhadap hasil sepak sila dalam permainan sepak takraw pada mahasiswa Penjaskesrek Universitas Islam Indragiri. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Penjaskesrek Universitas Islam Indragiri yang berjumlah 17 mahasiswa sedangkan sampel penelitian diambil berdasarkan teknik total sampling dimana seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel penleitian. Instrument dan Teknik analisis data yang digunakan berdasarkan metode statistik yaitu menggunakan rumus korelasi product moment dan korelasi ganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa korfisien korelasi rxy = 0,930 > r table = 0,482 (hipotesis penelitian diterima) dan signifikan korelasi distribusi t menunjukkan (thitung = 9,782) > (ttable = 1,753) dengan demikian maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima (signifikan). Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara keseimbangan dengan hasil sepak sila dalam permainan sepak takraw.

Abstract

This study aims to find out what strategies are often used by teachers at SMAN 2 Tembilahan. The researcher found the problems is the strategies used by the teachers in teaching speaking at SMAN 2 Tembilahan have not been identified. The researcher chose SMAN 2 Tembilahan as the research location because the researcher saw that during PPL, the students’ ability in speaking was good and only a few students were somewhat low in speaking. The design of this research is descriptive research. The population of this study is English teachers at SMAN 2 Tembilahan. The sample for this study are two English teachers. To obtain data, researcher used interview and questionnaire as instruments, for interviews 5 question and for questionnaire 13 questionnaire. The researcher found strategies that are often used by teachers in teaching speaking. There are five strategies used by teachers in teaching speaking namely role play, storytelling, reporting, presentation and discussion group.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of students now to use dictionary which the result from preliminary observations are most students use online dictionary than book dictionary when studying the English language. The researcher become curious about the students experiences in using online dictionary. Thus, this study aims to investigate about students perception on the use of online dictionary by using quantitative method. The sample in this study were 35 students of class XI MIPA 5 SMAN 1 Tembilahan Hulu. Sampling was carried out using cluster sampling technique. In collecting data, researchers used a questionnaire as a research tool. This questionnaire is used to find out how students perception of the Use of Online English Dictionary. The questionnaire used in the study was presented in 5 (five) alternatives, commonly known as the Likert Scale. The results showed that students' perception of the Use of Online English Dictionary fall into the high category. It proved that 35 students got that category as the highest average score was in indicator selection with a score 140, followed by indicator organization with a score 139. And then the average value of indicator interpretation with a score 148. So, the researcher can conclude that the use of online dictionary can increase students’ interest in learning English. Because online dictionary is faster and easier than book dictionary.

Abstract

This qualitative case study delves into the transformative potential of integrating Quizizz, an interactive assessment tool, within the realm of English language instruction for novice students enrolled in the Islamic Education Department at STAI Auliaurrasyidin. Employing purposive sampling and thematic analysis, the research uncovers a notable shift in student engagement, motivation, and language proficiency. The study's outcomes underline Quizizz's gamified approach as a pivotal catalyst in redefining the assessment landscape, igniting a renewed enthusiasm for learning, and fostering an active and participatory classroom environment. The study reveals that Quizizz's gamified platform ignites student motivation and engagement, bridging the gap between apprehension and enthusiasm. Multiple-choice questions, a core feature of Quizizz, are particularly effective in overcoming novice language learners' challenges with open-ended queries. Classroom observations highlight the heightened sense of participation and active engagement during evaluations, fostering a dynamic learning environment. The implications extend beyond language instruction, resonating with the broader goals of holistic education and offering insights for enhancing pedagogical practices in Islamic studies and other disciplines.

Abstract

This study aims to document the singing of Batobo rhymes as an oral literary study to explain the form of educational values in Batobo rhymes. This research is qualitative research using descriptive analysis method. The descriptive analysis method is in accordance with its essence, namely the data that has been collected is then selected, grouped, studied, interpreted, and concluded. The results of this study are the Batobo rhyme songs of the people of Seberang Pantai Village, and the Batobo rhyme songs contain the following forms of educational values. (1) educational values related to the form of the values of responsibility, with indicators of attitude and behavior of being disciplined, tenacious, and willing to take risks. (2) educational values related to forms of social care, with indicators of attitudes and behavior of affection, politeness, friendship/communicativeness, social care, and love of family. (3) educational values related to the form of values of honesty, with indicators of responsible attitude and behavior, fulfilling obligations, being generous, keeping promises, speaking as it is, and being democratic. (4) educational values related to the form of friendly/communicative values, with indicators of being honest, affectionate, speaking as it is, keeping promises and being responsible.

Abstract

Today, mastery of more than one language becomes a phenomenon that attracts the attention of people, especially young people as the nation’s successor. However, the results of learning English for most students, including university students, are still very poor. This article aims to analyze students’ learning achievement, and provide an overview of the problems they faced in learning English. This study is qualitative research. This is focused on the English learning achievement of 1st semester students of the Islamic Early Childhood Education (PIAUD) Study Program of STAI Auliaurrasyidin. Data were collected using in-depth interview and documentation. They were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model which consists of data reduction, data display, and conclusions. The results showed that the students’ low English learning achievement were caused by the English sentence and grammatical structure that often confusing, poor of vocabulary knowledge that impacts on the difficulty in translating English sentences. In addition, lack of self-confidence also triggered students’ low learning achievements.

Abstract

Peningkatan jumlah tindak kejahatan yang terjadi di kalangan remaja ini menunjukan bahwa anak-anak muda zaman sekarang mengalami permasalahan yang cukup serius dalam kehidupan mereka. Indikasi ketidak cerdasan emosional terlihat dengan munculnya berbagai tindak kejatan yang jelas-jelas mengancam kesuksesan hidup mereka kelak. Dalam hal ini pendidik terutama orang tua dihadapkan pada berbagai kekhawatiran tentang masa depan anak-anak mereka. Kecerdasan Emosional sangat berpengaruh terhadap diri seseorang serta yang lebih menarik lagi ternyata bentuk kecerdasan ini dapat dikembangkan atau dilejitkan dalam diri seseorang, terutama dimulai semenjak dini dimana orangtua berpeluang besar untuk hal tersebut. Pembahasan ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan sebagai kontribusi pemikiran dalam memformulasikan paradigma pendidikan yang tidak mengabaikan kecerdasan emosional, Diharapkan pembahasan ini dapat dijadikan sebagai acuan praktis dalam membina dan mengembangkan Kecerdasan emosinal anak didik. Penelitian ini berbentuk penelitian kepustakaan (Library Research), dengan langkah-langkah pengumpulan data, menganalisa data dan menarik kesimpulan.
