Abstract

The implementation of deep dialogue-based critical thinking learning in this study uses descriptive qualitative research methods to find out how the implementation of deep dialogue-based critical thinking learning in civics education subjects in madrasahs is done by collecting interview data and case studies in the field. problems that occur in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Surabaya City, In the learning process students still have difficulty analyzing and solving problems, especially in Citizenship subjects. During the learning process, students are still passive, very few students dare to answer the problems posed, as well as a lack of students' ability to independently solve problems that require analytical skills with this problem the teacher applies deep dialogue-based learning critical thinking to civic education subjects to increase concentration in gaining knowledge and experience through in-depth dialogue and critical thinking, emphasizing student activity and learning outcomes. on Citizenship education subjects.

Abstract

The importance of the thinking process dimension in Bloom's Taxonomy which has been revised by Krathwohl and Anderson in the realm of providing material and assessments carried out in the realm of knowledge which consists of the abilities: remembering (remembering-C1), understanding (understanding-C2), applying (applying-C3) , analyzing (analyzing-C4), evaluating (evaluating-C5), and creating (creating-C6). HOTS questions generally measure abilities in the domains of analyzing (analyzing-C4), evaluating (evaluating-C5), and creating (creating-C6). This article generally aims to describe the use of HOTS (High Order Thinking Skills) in objective test questions and descriptions. The method used is the library research method. The author collected a number of references in accordance with the analysis of the assessment of HOTS questions on written tests in objective form and descriptions of both journals, books and related government regulatory documents. The results of this research show that analysis of the assessment of HOTS questions on written tests in objective and descriptive form can improve the critical, logical, reflective, metacognitive and creative thinking skills that school students must have as early as possible or at elementary school level.

Abstract

Schools, in this case Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah, have a very important role in preserving culture and instilling character education from an early age in children. This role is very significant in changing good habits from an early age to children at Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah. In this 4.0 era, which is called the industrial revolution, many Indonesian children today use Indonesian more in their daily lives, and rarely use regional languages, many think that regional languages ​​are not cool or cheesy. Many parents are also starting to get used to only speaking Indonesian. Not only that, many children today also don't know the soft language of their region. Abstract

Pendidikan anak usia dini (PIAUD) memegang peranan penting dalam pembentukan dasar perkembangan anak-anak. Dalam upaya untuk menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang bermakna dan memfasilitasi perkembangan holistik mahasiswa PIAUD, metode pembelajaran yang inovatif dan kreatif sangat dibutuhkan. Salah satu bentuk seni yang menarik dalam konteks ini adalah seni tata rias body painting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali potensi seni tata rias body painting sebagai metode pembelajaran di Mahasiswa PIAUD UINSA Surabaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan mencakup observasi partisipatif, wawancara, dan analisis data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan seni tata rias body painting dalam konteks pembelajaran PIAUD di UINSA Surabaya memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pengembangan kreativitas, ekspresi diri, dan pemahaman mahasiswa PIAUD tentang seni serta perkembangan anak. Seni tata rias body painting mendorong partisipasi aktif mahasiswa dan memperkaya pengalaman belajar mereka. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan perspektif yang berharga tentang potensi seni tata rias body painting sebagai alat pembelajaran yang inovatif dan dapat diterapkan secara efektif dalam PIAUD. Implikasi temuan ini terhadap pengembangan kurikulum dan praktik pembelajaran di PIAUD UINSA Surabaya serta potensi aplikasinya dalam konteks pendidikan anak usia dini secara lebih luas akan dibahas dalam studi ini. Penelitian ini mengundang pembicaraan lebih lanjut dan eksplorasi lanjutan tentang peran seni sebagai alat pembelajaran yang kreatif dan efektif di lingkungan PIAUD, dengan harapan bahwa pengetahuan yang diperoleh dapat memberikan manfaat maksimal bagi pengembangan potensi anak-anak usia dini.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes and interest of fifth grade students at SDN 3 Buluagung, Siliragung District, Banyuwangi Regency in science lessons is the background of this research. This condition is influenced by teachers not using appropriate methods and media. As a result, students are sleepy in learning in the classroom. Science subjects are learning that requires experiments and the use of real objects as an introduction to learning material. This study uses a class action research method that aims to improve student learning outcomes in science subjects in class V at SDN 3 Buluagung. This research carried out 2 cycles of learning improvement. After the learning improvement plan for cycle 1 was held, an average classical completeness of 61.1% was obtained with 45% of students completing their studies while 55% were below the KKM. In cycle 2 there was a very rapid development of student learning completeness where classical completeness was 83.5% or 81% complete in learning and 19% did not complete learning. From the results of these data, using concrete object-based experimental methods can improve student learning outcomes and interest. For this reason, researchers suggest using experimental methods with concrete object media to create innovative and fun learning so that students can easily understand.

Abstract

This research was conducted to discover children’s undertanding about social emotional through the game of matching emoji cards. The aim of this service is so that children can learn to regulate their emotions This type of research is qualitative case study research. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of this service activity, the participants in the play were divided into two groups. Muhammad's group (boys) and Aisyah's group (girls) compete alternately with emojis. Children understand the meaning of given emojis more quickly. They have succeeded in differentiating the types of emotions of the Emoji Card Matching game.

Abstract

Abstract Hasil belajar siswa yang rendah membuat peneliti melakukan perbaikan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan penggunaan model pembelajaran STAD dengan media pembelajaran blok pecahan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 083 Pidoli dengan materi penjumlahan pecahan berpenyebut beda. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek siswa kelas IV SDN 083 Pidoli yang berjumlah 21 siswa. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara tes tertulis dan pengamatan. Temuan dari penelitian memperlihatkan ada peningkatan pada hasil belajar. Ketuntasan belajar dari 21 siswa pada kondisi awal terdapat 38,1 % pada prasiklus lalu naik menjadi 71, 42 % pada siklus I dan naik secara singnifikan pada siklus II menjadi 90,48 %. Dengan demikian Penelitian ini memperoleh simpulan bahwa dengan model pembelajaran STAD dengan media blok pecahan terjadi peningkatan pada hasil belajar pada siswa kelas IV SDN 083 Pidoli dengan materi penjumlahan pecahan berpenyebut beda. Temuan penelitian ini juga dapat menjadi salah satu cara bagi guru dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran STAD dengan media blok pecahan untuk meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran di kelas. This research was carried out using the STAD learning model with fraction block learning media to improve the learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN 083 Pidoli with material on adding fractions with different denominators. This research is a type of classroom action research with the subject being class IV students at SDN 083 Pidoli, totaling 21 students. Data was collected by means of written tests and observations. Findings from research show that there is an increase in learning outcomes. The learning completeness of the 21 students in the initial condition was 38.1% in the pre-cycle, then rose to 71.42% in the first cycle and increased significantly in the second cycle to 90.48%. Thus, this research concluded that with the STAD learning model using fraction block media there was an increase in learning outcomes for class IV students at SDN 083 Pidoli with material on adding fractions with different denominators. The findings of this research can also be a way for teachers to implement the STAD learning model using fraction block media to improve learning outcomes in the classroom. Abstract

This study aims to find out: (1) Population variance of the two groups is the same or homogeneous, (2) Differences in average student learning outcomes, (3) The influence of class management Make Every Minute Count on student learning activity. This research is quantitative research using experimental methods and quasi-experimental design. The research population is the entire student at MI Taufiqurrahman 2 Kukusan which totaled 457 students. The sample technique used is purposive sampling. Research sample of 42 students consisting of class IV A 21 students (experimental) and IV B 21 students (kontrol). The data collection technique uses the lift as the primary instrument. From the test results the instrument obtained a Table R of 0.396 and Cronbach's Alpha of 0.836. The results analysis technique uses the t-test, which compares the two groups' mean. The research findings indicate that: (1) Based on the information available, the significance level (Sig.) is less than 0.198 > 0.05, indicating a similar or homogenous population variation. (2) Based on results showing that the average learning time for the Afterwards Experiment (Make Every Minute Count) was 86,00 and the average deviation was 5,167, as well as the Average Learning Time for the Afterwards Control (Classroom Meeting) was 82,29 and the average deviation was 6,133. It may be observed that there are differences in student learning activity between the "Make Every Minute Count" and "Classroom Meeting" lesson plans. (3) Based on the Uji Wilcoxon results, Asymp.Sig. (2-Tailed) 0,000 < 0,05 or Ha is found. Thus, it is shown that there is a difference in the Make Every Minute Count staff's learning activity among fourth-grade students.

Abstract

This research explores the difficulty of understanding mathematics in multiples and number factorization material in grade 5 of the 1 Loram Kulon Elementary School. Qualitative research methods are used to achieve a holistic understanding of student problems. Data was collected through classroom observations and teacher interviews, involving grade 5 students as research participants. Data analysis uses qualitative analysis techniques. The research results revealed that the majority of students faced difficulties in internalizing the concepts of multiples and number factorization. Factors such as a lack of understanding of basic multiplication concepts, limited understanding of patterns, and difficulty applying concepts in real contexts are the main obstacles. This research not only identifies difficulties, but also proposes solutions by designing and implementing pedagogical interventions. The intervention involves a contextual learning approach, the use of learning media, and adjustments to teaching methods. The research results also showed a significant increase in students' understanding of multiples and number factorization material through pedagogical intervention.

Abstract

This research aims to instill the effectiveness of educational mathematics game media through the PhET application which is based on the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on student learning outcomes in class 4 MI Muhammadiyah 2 Kudus on the topic of fractions. This research uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design using One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The data analysis process includes normality test, homogeneity test, and paired sample t-test. Research findings indicate that the application of educational mathematics game media through the PBL-based PhET application significantly improves student learning outcomes in fraction material. The average pretest score was 59.06, which increased to 68.44 on the posttest. The normality test shows a significance of 0.314 > 0.005, indicating that the data has a normal distribution. The homogeneity test shows a significance of 0.089 > 0.05, indicating that the data is homogeneous. The results of the paired sample t test show a Sig value, (2-tailed) of 0.010 > 0.05, so the null hypothesis is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of educational mathematics game media through the PhET application based on the PBL model has a significant influence on student learning outcomes in class 4 of MI Muhammadiyah 2 Kudus.
