Abstract

The aim of this community service is to provide training to MSMEs (PKK's main target) in Bulangan Village, Gresik Regency. The service method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR) which is to provide learning in overcoming a problem. The result of the service is the socialization of digital marketing by introducing e-commerce and how to create it. Providing training on the CANVA application platform in designing MSME product logos. The achievement achieved by MSMEs or PKK is that they already have an e-commerce account and are ready to buy and sell digitally.

Abstract

Post-pandemic is a period of reform and improvement in various economic sectors in order to create a stable and strategic economy. The significant impact is felt by MSME players in terms of sales. The purpose of this community service is to provide training to MSME players (the main target of PKK) in Bulangan Village, Gresik Regency. Abstract

The Impactful Independent Internship Program (MBKM) at the Bureau of Government and Regional Autonomy, Administrative Division of the Regional Secretariat of Central Kalimantan Province carried out this community service project for four months, from January 22 to May 22. This activity aimed to improve the quality of performance report preparation through more systematic and measurable data management. A qualitative descriptive method was employed through participant observation, unstructured interviews, and examination of institutional performance records. The students assisted in managing government administration, collecting performance data, and preparing physical and financial realization reports. The results of the activity indicated that the implementation of responsibility accounting through the identification of responsibility centers, measurement of performance indicators, and verification of supporting documents was able to improve the accuracy and quality of LAKIP preparation. This activity also contributed to enhancing students’ competencies in public sector accounting and improving the administrative effectiveness of government institutions.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the awareness of residents in Simo Mulyo Baru, Surabaya, regarding the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness and health. The main issues faced are the low level of community participation in maintaining the environment and the underutilization of vacant land around residential areas. Through the Asset-Based Community Develo pment, approach, this program encourages residents to utilize existing potentials, such as the spirit of mutual cooperation and available land, to conduct community clean-up activities and the planting of family medicinal plants. The results show an increase in residents’ awareness and responsibility in creating a clean and healthy environment. The planting of medicinal plants such as ginger, turmeric, and basil also provides natural health benefits for the community. This activity serves as an example that asset-based empowerment can create positive and sustainable changes within the community environment. This activity shows that community empowerment through the ABCD approach has proven effective in building environmental awareness and fostering responsible, sustainable behavior among the community.

Abstract

Community service activities through social charity programs, such as the distribution of food packages and wearable clothing, represent a tangible expression of social responsibility aimed at alleviating the burden of underprivileged communities while strengthening social solidarity. This study aims to examine the implementation of these activities in fostering public awareness of charitable giving using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, which emphasizes the identification and optimization of local assets and community potential. The findings indicate that the program provided significant and direct benefits to the recipients, particularly in reducing the economic hardships experienced by vulnerable households. Furthermore, the implementation of the social service program encouraged active community participation, strengthened collaboration among stakeholders, and promoted a sustainable culture of mutual assistance and philanthropy. These results demonstrate that the ABCD approach is effective in enhancing community empowerment while reinforcing social welfare and collective responsibility.

Abstract

The main objective of this community service activity is to improve financial literacy and optimize digital marketing for the Alfi Meat Grinding MSME in Pinrang Regency. The implementation method involves intensive mentoring for the owner and workforce through systematic bookkeeping education and digital-based promotion techniques. The results show a significant transformation, where the business actor now understands the urgency of separating business and personal finances as the foundation for sound business management. The establishment of a neat, simple bookkeeping system allows for better cash flow transparency for operations. Increased awareness in utilizing social media as a promotional channel has proven effective in expanding market reach. Through this continuous mentoring, the Alfi Meat Grinding MSME is expected to achieve economic independence, improve competitiveness in an increasingly competitive market, and make a positive contribution to the stability and growth of the creative economy in the Pinrang Regency area in a sustainable and measurable way for the improvement of local community welfare.

Abstract

This community service program was initiated in response to the high prevalence of perinatal social isolation and maternal depression in Makassar, which may adversely affect maternal and child health outcomes. The program aimed to implement the Family Empowerment–Social Connectedness Maternal and Child Health (FESCMCH) Model through a family-based empowerment approach involving 60 pregnant and postpartum women and their families across three primary health center service areas. The intervention included social isolation screening and counseling, family psychoeducation, structured family meetings, strengthening of maternal classes, and the establishment of peer-support groups. Evaluation was conducted using a pre-post design with the UCLA Loneliness Scale and the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS). Results showed a significant reduction in mean social isolation scores from 6.8 to 4.2 and EPDS scores from 10.4 to 6.8 (p<0.001), accompanied by a 34.7% increase in antenatal care attendance and a 78.3% increase in peer-group participation. The FESCMCH Model proved effective in enhancing social connectedness and improving maternal health outcomes.

Abstract

Fishing communities in Lalonggasumeeto Village, Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi, face low value-added fishery products, seasonal income fluctuations, and limited business diversification. This Internal Community Partnership Program (PKMI) aimed to strengthen the economic capacity of fishing households through diversification of locally based seafood products. The program applied the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) and learning by doing approaches, covering homemade fish nugget production, standard operating procedures and hygiene, appropriate equipment, branding and packaging, business legalization, business management and cost of production (COP) training, digital marketing, and institutional strengthening. The program improved participants’ production skills, hygiene awareness, business management, digital marketing knowledge, and entrepreneurial motivation. Homemade Fish Nuggets achieved a production cost of IDR 34,000 per 500-gram package and a selling price of IDR 45,000–50,000, with an estimated monthly profit of approximately IDR 8,000,000 at a production capacity of 20 packages per day. The program demonstrates that seafood product diversification is an effective strategy for increasing value added and improving the economic resilience of fishing households.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to strengthen the capacity of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in business digitalization through training on branding, digital marketing, and creative economy-based product innovation. The program was conducted at Santorini Talumolo on March 16, 2026, involving 40 MSME participants. The methods included lectures, interactive discussions, hands-on assistance in creating digital content, and the development of online marketing strategies, with evaluation using a pretest-posttest design. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of digital branding strategies, the utilization of social media and online marketplaces, and the importance of product innovation in enhancing business competitiveness. The participants’ average score increased from 52.1 to 84.1 after the training. Overall, the program made a tangible contribution to local economic empowerment and promoted the sustainable digital transformation of MSMEs in the Santorini Talumolo area.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of environmental education through the Karang Mumus River School Program in Samarinda and to explain public participation in river environmental conservation. The research method employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation of educational activities, river trekking, and tree planting, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results indicate that environmental education successfully increases participants' understanding and awareness of river conservation. The river trekking activity provides firsthand experience regarding the actual condition of the river, while tree planting serves as a tangible action for environmental rehabilitation. Furthermore, community-based collaboration is established among the public, students, and environmental activists. This program proves to be an effective experiential learning model that fosters community concern for river environment preservation.
