Abstract

Tourism deposits have great potential in prospering the surrounding community and improving the economy. The ability and awareness of the community in managing the tourism potential that exists around is certainly very petrified for the economic life of local residents. The purpose of this research is to find out how Human Resources affect business sustainability. This study uses a quantitative approach with the population of this study is all Batik Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Krebet Tourism Village Area, Bantul Regency. Simplified sampling techniques. This technique is carried out by selecting samples freely according to the ease and access to data. The results of the study showed that the increase in knowledge did not have a significant effect on the business sustainability variable. Meanwhile, other variables such as HR Skills and Abilities have a significant impact on the business sustainability variable. the Adjusted R Square value is 0.764 or 76.4%. This shows that the improvement of knowledge, skills and abilities of human resources towards business sustainability is 76.4% while the remaining 23.6% is explained by other variables outside the model.

Abstract

This research aims to obtain empirical evidence of the influence of audit experience and task complexity on the quality of auditor performance. The population used in this research were all auditors at Public Accounting Firms in Bali Province. The sampling technique was through purposive sampling, so that the sample size was 19 KAPs with all auditors as research respondents. This research uses the Multiple Regression Analysis technique. The output of multiple regression analysis shows that audit experience has a positive effect on the quality of auditor performance and task complexity has a negative effect on the quality of auditor performance. The implications of this research can be used as a guide to pay attention to audit experience and task complexity, so that it can improve the quality of auditor performance and can also have a positive impact on Public Accounting Firms.

Abstract

Rice prices in Indonesia have experienced significant fluctuations from 2019 to 2023, influenced by factors such as production, consumption, imports, international prices, and crop damage. The highest rice production was recorded in 2022 at 31,540,522 tons, while the lowest production occurred in 2023 at 31,101,285 tons. The highest rice consumption was in 2023 at 30,616,081 tons, and the lowest was in 2019 at 28,930,000 tons. The highest rice imports were in 2023 at 2,715,854 tons, and the lowest was in 2019 at 6,197 tons. Global rice prices also fluctuated, ranging from Rp. 6,674/kg in 2019 to Rp. 8,667/kg in 2023. Crop damage was lowest in 2022 at 470,131 hectares and highest in 2019 at 819,444 hectares. It's important to note that the fluctuations in rice prices are intensely influenced by several factors that highlight the need for effective price stabilization policies to guarantee the accessibility and affordability of rice for the public.

Abstract

Garbage is a serious problem in Indonesia, including in Medan Belawan District. The Rubbish Bank Program is present as a solution for Rubbish management and economic empowerment of the community. This research aims to analyze the concept of green economy through the Rubbish Bank program in Medan Belawan District.The research method used is qualitatively descriptive with a case study approach. Data is collected through observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is thematic analysis. The Rubbish Bank Program in Medan Belawan District has provided economic, social, and environmental benefits. Economic benefits include increased community income, job creation, and savings in Rubbish transportation costs. Social benefits include increasing public awareness about the importance of good Rubbish management, and increasing public concern for the environment. Environmental benefits include reducing Rubbish generation, reducing environmental pollution, and preserving natural resources. The Rubbish Bank Program in Medan Belawan District is an example of the implementation of an effective and sustainable green economy concept. This program can be a model for other Rubbish management programs in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of profitability, leverage and sales growth on tax avoidance. This research sample will be obtained from Property and Real Estate Sector Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2021-2022 period. To find out the relationship between variables, data analysis is carried out. The analysis used in this study is multiple regression analysis where for partial testing using statistical test t and simultaneous testing using the anova statistical test and before this test is carried out first a classical assumption test. This research is classified as TKT 3, which is proof of concept of functions and/or important characteristics analytically and experimentally.

Abstract

Employees who have high skill-upgrading and self-leadership will have self-confidence in their abilities. Skill-upgrading and self-leadership make employees able to organize themselves, focus on the goals they want to achieve, and have the nature of never giving up in solving problems so that it will have an impact on the resulting employee performance. The aim of writing this article is to review and synthesize existing literature related to employee performance so that it can contribute to the understanding of skill-upgrading and self-leadership which have an impact on employee performance. The data analysis technique uses qualitative analysis methods using inductive thinking patterns. Employee performance is developed properly and correctly if supported by strong skill-upgrading and self-leadership. Skill-upgrading is a way for employees to improve their quality with qualified skills, while self-leadership motivates employees to be able to lead themselves and use their creativity in carrying out a task. Skill upgrading can be done through training specifically to improve technical skills, specific expertise and knowledge that employees need in their work. Self-leadership abilities can be developed by yourself by managing time, setting goals, improving your abilities, being consistent in your activities, and doing self-reflection.

Abstract

Fluctuations in the number of hotel guests which tend to decrease encourage managers to further improve management performance so that things that influence the decline can be identified and then implemented as appropriate strategies to overcome them. Consumers or guests in this case are a heterogeneous community who come from various backgrounds, characteristics, habits, regions, cultures and economic levels. Based on several theories, previous research and the phenomenon of this problem, research was conducted to analyze the influence of service quality on consumers' decisions to stay at the Surabaya Youth Hostel. In research that wants to see the influence of tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy on the decision to stay at the Surabaya Youth Hostel. By using tabulated data from the results of a population survey with a sample of 40 respondents, visitors staying at the Surabaya Youth Hostel were analyzed. using multiple linear regression analysis tools, it can be seen. The R value of 0.951 means that the relationship between the independent variables tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy on consumer decisions to stay overnight is close and strong. This is indicated by an R value above 50%, namely 95.1%. The simultaneous determination value (R square) is 0.904, meaning that variations in tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy regarding consumer decisions to stay overnight change by 90.4% while the remaining 9.6% is influenced by other variables not studied. In this research, it can be seen that the variables tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy influence simultaneously (simultaneously) on the decision to stay by producing an Fcount value of 64,219 and a Ftable of 2.4 with a df in the numerator of 5 and the denominator of 34. By using the test t can be seen that all independent variables, including tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, have a partial influence on the decision to stay, where reliability with a calculated t coefficient value of 4,877 is the variable that has the most influence on the decision to stay.

Abstract

Research was conducted to analyze the effect of work environment, work stress, workload on turnover intention through organizational commitment. Sampling based on purposive sampling technique as many as 120 respondents with the criteria of project logistics division employees at PT Pos Logistics. The results concluded that the work environment has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention; work stress and workload have a positive and significant effect on turnover intention. The effect of organizational commitment as an intervening variable shows that the work environment has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention; work stress price and workload have a positive and significant effect on turnover intention.

Abstract

Improving shareholder wealth is a primary goal for a company which can be achieved by increasing the firm value. Maximizing profit can enhance the firm value, but it is not sufficient to ensure the long-term sustainability of the company. Firm value can be influenced by financial aspects such as profitability and non-financial aspects such as Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). This research aims to analyze the influence of ERM and CSR on firm value with profitability as a moderating variable in technology sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population of technology sector companies is 22 companies. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling method, the results were 19 companies. Data was collected from company annual reports from 2020-2023. Data analysis was carried out using Moderated Regression Analysis techniques. The research results show that ERM and CSR have no significant effect on firm value and profitability is unable to moderate the influence of ERM and CSR on firm value.

Abstract

A good country's economy can be seen from the level of prosperity of its people. To see the welfare of society in a country, it can be measured by the Human Development Index (HDI). The level of social welfare between regions indicates that there is inequality between regions. The objects of this research are 9 regencies/cities in Bali Province. The descriptive quantitative method used in this research is the Secondary Data Analysis (ADS) approach. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that partial economic growth has a positive and significant effect on the welfare of the people in districts/cities in Bali Province. The unemployment rate partially has a positive and significant effect on the welfare of the people in the Regencies/Cities in Bali Province and the poverty rate partially has a positive and insignificant effect on the welfare of the people in the Regencies/Cities in the Province of Bali.
