Abstract

In an era of increasingly tight business competition every year, employee performance is a determining factor in the success of the TAM Syariah Cooperative as a company engaged in savings and loan services, this cooperative offers various models of savings and loan agreements according to customer needs. To improve employee performance, good human resources are needed. This study aims to analyze two important aspects of the performance of TAM Syariah Cooperative employees, namely the influence of work discipline and leadership on employee performance. The method used in this study is a quantitative method, with an analysis tool using SMART PLS. The population of this study consisted of 46 employees, and the entire population was also used as a research sample through a saturated sampling method. The findings of this study reveal that work discipline and leadership each have a positive and significant influence on employee performance, indicating that improvements in both factors can have a positive impact on productivity and work effectiveness in the company

Abstract

Organizational commitment is a key factor influencing a company's effectiveness and sustainability. PT PLN Nusantara Power UP Pacitan is a company engaged in power generation, transmission, and distribution. This study aims to explore the effect of workload and work discipline on organizational commitment, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable among employees of PT PLN Nusantara Power UP Pacitan. This research employs a quantitative method using a questionnaire for data collection. The study population consists of 247 employees, with a sample of 90 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis is conducted using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method. The results indicate that workload has a positive but insignificant effect on organizational commitment, while work discipline has a significant positive effect on organizational commitment. Furthermore, workload significantly influences organizational commitment through job satisfaction, and work discipline also significantly affects organizational commitment through job satisfaction.

Abstract

The interest of PPAk students in obtaining Chartered Accountant (CA) certification can enhance their competitiveness and marketability in the workforce by providing additional evidence of competence beyond academic degrees, with the quality and expertise they possess. This research aims to determine the influence of understanding levels, career perceptions, and quality motivation on the interest of PPAk students in pursuing CA certification. The study was conducted at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University, as the best state university in Bali that offers a PPAk study program with quality graduate students, with a sample of 78 PPAk students selected using non-probability sampling method with saturated sampling technique. This research proves that, based on the Theory of Planned Behavior, the level of understanding regarding students career perceptions affects the interest of PPAk students in pursuing CA certification. Maslow's theory can be used as a basis for understanding the influence of motivating factors for PPAk students regarding CA certification. The Faculty of Economics and Business at Udayana University can benefit from this research by better understanding how understanding levels, career perceptions, and quality motivation affect PPAk students' interest in pursuing CA certification. This information can then be used to assess the factors influencing PPAk students' interest.  According to this study, PPAk students' interest in obtaining CA certification is positively and significantly impacted by their comprehension levels, career perceptions, and quality motivation.

Abstract

Competition in the business world today is increasingly fierce. This is also felt business people in the welding workshop services sector. The sampling method used is Incidental Sampling Method. The sample in this study was 34 people customers from the JJ Welding Workshop in Medan City and then an analysis was carried out on data obtained using quantitative data analysis. Analysis Quantitative includes: validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, regression analysis multiplex, hypothesis testing via t test and F test, and coefficient analysis determination. The results of this scientific research: Service Quality, Price and Location simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction at the JJ Welding Workshop in Medan City.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to examine how customer happiness at Kenzie Barbershop in Medan is impacted by pricing, location, and service quality. 96 respondents (customers) made up the sample for the quantitative approval. The findings indicate that customer happiness is significantly positively impacted by service quality, with location and pricing coming in second and third. The results indicate that in order to boost client happiness, Kenzie Barbershop should give priority to enhancing service quality. In order to draw in and keep clients, the barbershop should also think about its advantageous location and affordable prices.At Kenzie Barbershop, pricing, location, and service quality all have a positive and considerable simultaneous impact on client satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of transactional leadership and workload on turnover intention, with work engagement as a mediating variable among part-time workers in the coffeeshop industry in Pontianak City. Transactional leadership, which emphasizes a system of rewards and punishments, along with high workload, is presumed to influence employees’ emotional attachment to their jobs and subsequently affect their intention to leave. This research adopts a quantitative approach using the PLS-SEM method through SmartPLS 4.0 software, with data collected via a Likert-scale questionnaire. A total of 200 respondents were selected using purposive sampling. The results indicate that transactional leadership has a significant negative effect on turnover intention and a significant positive effect on work engagement. Workload has a significant positive effect on both work engagement and turnover intention. Furthermore, work engagement has a significant negative effect on turnover intention and is proven to mediate the effects of transactional leadership and workload on turnover intention. These findings highlight the critical role of work engagement in reducing employees' desire to leave, even when faced with high workloads and a transactional leadership style.

Abstract

In the digital era and amidst increasingly intense competition in the fashion industry, local brands are required to continuously innovate to remain relevant and appealing to consumers. RUCAS, as a local Indonesian streetwear brand, is known for its limited edition marketing strategy that successfully creates a sense of exclusivity and enhances product appeal. This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived value and product quality on consumers’ purchase intention toward RUCAS limited edition products, as well as to examine the role of brand trust as a mediating variable. This study takes a quantitative approach, utilizing the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 200 respondents who had purchased or were familiar with RUCAS products. The results indicate that perceived value and product quality significantly influence both brand trust and purchase intention. Furthermore, brand trust is proven to mediate the relationship between perceived value and product quality with consumer purchase intention. These findings emphasize the importance of maintaining high product quality and creating strong perceived value to build trust and increase consumer purchase intention, particularly in the context of exclusivity-based marketing strategies such as those implemented by RUCAS.

Abstract

This research investigates how e-service quality and customer experience influence customer satisfaction among GoRide users in Bandar Lampung. The study is motivated by the growing reliance on online transportation services in Indonesia and the crucial role of customer satisfaction in fostering user loyalty. Employing a quantitative method with a survey design, data were gathered through questionnaires from 125 purposively selected respondents. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression via SPSS. Findings indicate that both e-service quality and customer experience positively and significantly affect customer satisfaction, both individually and collectively. Key elements such as the app’s efficiency, security, and reliability, along with user experience factors like accessibility, promise fulfillment, and personalized service, are shown to be major contributors to the satisfaction of GoRide users in the area.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of price perception, product quality, and electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) on consumers’ purchase decisions in the culinary industry. A quantitative method was employed, with a population consisting of consumers who have made purchases. Data were obtained through questionnaires distributed to 250 respondents using an accidental sampling technique. Data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) via SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results show that two independent variables, namely price perception and e-WOM, significantly influence consumer purchase decisions. This indicates that restaurants offering lower prices while maintaining high product quality are more likely to attract consumers. Moreover, customer experiences shared through online reviews can influence potential buyers in their future purchasing decisions. The findings of this study are expected to serve as a reference for culinary business practitioners in developing more effective marketing strategies. Future research may consider including other variables that could further enhance purchase decisions effectively. Abstract

Stock return refers to the income received by investors from their investment in a firm, either directly or through a securities firm. The level of stock return is crucial in investment analysis as it serves as a key indicator for investors in evaluating the performance and profit potential of a stock. This study aims to examine the effect of profitability, liquidity, leverage, and firm size on stock returns in manufacturing sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020–2023 period. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, resulting in a sample of 65 companies. Data analysis techniques employed include descriptive statistics and inferential statistics, processed using IBM SPSS 25. The findings indicate that profitability has a significant positive effect on stock return, liquidity has a significant positive effect, leverage has a significant negative effect, and firm size also has a significant positive effect on stock return. The implications of this study are expected to provide empirical contributions regarding the influence of these variables on stock returns and to offer managerial insights and additional references for corporate decision-making aimed at increasing stock returns.   Keywords: stock return, profitability, liquidity, leverage, firm size
