Abstract

This study aims to develop PowerPoint-based interactive learning media to enhance the understanding of natural numbers among 6th-grade elementary school students. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. The research subjects were 30 students from VI Elementary School Baratajaya. Data was collected through observations, interviews, questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. Media and material expert validation results showed the learning media was suitable for use with an average score of 86.5%. The implementation of learning media demonstrated improved student understanding with an N-gain value of 0.71 (high category). Student response to the learning media showed a satisfaction rate of 88.3%. It can be concluded that PowerPoint-based interactive learning media effectively improves 6th-grade elementary school students' understanding of natural numbers.

Abstract

Developing interactive Indonesian language books that suit the needs of grade IV elementary school students using the Research and Development (R&D) method. The results of the study produced an interactive book equipped with various interactive features. This interactive book has been validated by teachers and tested on grade IV students. The results of the trial showed that the interactive book developed was effective in increasing students' learning motivation towards the use of interactive books in learning Indonesian. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with data collection through interviews and questionnaires. The results showed that most students had a positive perception of the use of interactive books.

Abstract

This research aims to develop digital-based LiBeRu teaching materials with features such as material E-modules which include encouraging quotes and learning video references and are then equipped with a choice of independent quizzes or quizzes with friends. This type of research is R&D with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The test subjects in this research were class VI students at SD YPI DARUSSALAM Cerme Gresik. Data collection techniques in this research include validation sheets to determine the level of validity, questionnaire response sheets to determine the level of practicability of use to measure the effectiveness of products developed in learning. Data analysis techniques include qualitative data and quantitative data.

Abstract

The background of this study is about the implementation of the values of the third precept of Pancasila in exploring the diversity that exists in Pamulang University students. PPKn students as prospective educators have a responsibility to instill Pancasila values in future generations. Diversity in the campus environment often creates unique social dynamics. Students from various backgrounds interact and collaborate in a variety of academic and non-academic activities. The purpose of this research is to produce writings that focus on certain topics or issues and support individual research projects. The method used is a literature review method which is the first and essential step in research planning. that the differences that exist around our living environment must coexist and respect each other. There is no sense of superiority so as to degrade others, no feeling better so as not to demonize the others, and not feel more important than others.

Abstract

Student political participation is an important indicator of the sustainability of democracy in Indonesia. However, the low level of student involvement in political activities is a problem that requires attention. This study aims to analyze the influence of civic education on student political participation in Indonesia. Civic education is seen as one of the strategic instruments to increase political awareness of the younger generation. This study uses a quantitative survey method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to students from various universities in Indonesia. The results of the study indicate that civic education has a significant influence in increasing student political awareness and involvement. This awareness is reflected in their active participation in political activities, both on campus and off campus, such as joining student organizations, political discussions, and elections. The conclusion of this study confirms that strengthening the civic education curriculum is very necessary to produce a young generation that is politically aware and responsible as citizens.

Abstract

The enforcement of election crimes committed by Bawaslu is the reality that occurs that not always elections can run directly, freely, confidentially, honestly, and fairly. Based on the analysis of conditions that are mainly studied through the reality that occurs, the obstacles that often occur are differences in perception between members of the Gakkumdu Center, loss of evidence of conjecture, limited time, and limited Bawaslu human resources. Through Law No. 22 of 2007, the existence of Bawaslu is no longer subordinate to the KPU. The above conditions then initiated the birth of development research in the framework of claiming novelty, parsing the role of each institution in the Gakkumdu Center through a new point of view, namely functionalist sociology. The function of Sentra Gakkumdu is as a coordination forum in the process of handling every violation of election crimes, implementation of the election criminal pattern itself, data centers, competency improvement, evaluation monitoring. Therefore, it is necessary to coordinate and collaborate to build between law enforcement members in the Gakkumdu Center.

Abstract

This study examines the utilization of e-government to enhance transparency and accountability in public services in Indonesia. The main issue addressed is the lack of transparency and accountability in the delivery of public services, which can hinder the realization of good governance and erode public trust. The aim of this research is to analyze how e-government can be implemented to improve transparency and accountability in public services, as well as to identify the challenges and strategies in its implementation. The research method used is a literature review, analyzing various relevant sources such as academic journals, research reports, and policy documents. The findings of the study indicate that e-government has the potential to enhance transparency and accountability in public services through the provision of publicly accessible and transparent information, empowering the public in overseeing the use of public funds, and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of bureaucracy. However, the implementation of e-government also faces challenges, such as the digital divide, data security issues, and a lack of digital literacy. This study recommends that the government improve digital infrastructure, strengthen data security systems, enhance public digital literacy, and develop integrated and user-friendly e-government applications and platforms. The concept of "Tarakan Smart City" presented in this study offers a comprehensive and integrated smart city development model by incorporating e-government into various aspects of urban life.

Abstract

This study aims to describe various strategies used by teachers in an effort to increase students' learning motivation in the subject of Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) at Waropen Adventist High School, Papua. The background of this study is the problem of low student enthusiasm for learning subjects PPKn. This can be seen from the lack of student involvement in the learning process, delay in completing assignments, and the achievement of learning outcomes that are still below expectations. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data was collected through interviews, direct observations in the classroom, and documentation review. The findings in this study reveal that PPKn teachers at Waropen Adventist High School apply learning strategies that are tailored to the characteristics of students. Some of the methods used include group discussions, simulations, the use of visual media, as well as problem-based learning approaches and debates. In addition, teachers also play a role as encouragers by creating a fun and communicative learning atmosphere, giving rewards, and approaching students personally. These strategies have been proven to have a positive effect on increasing learning motivation, student participation in learning, and their understanding of the material taught in PPKn lessons.

Abstract

Discipline is one of the important aspects in realizing an orderly, safe, and comfortable school environment for all school residents. However, the reality in the field shows that there are still students who have not fully displayed a disciplined attitude. This condition requires a special strategy from educators, especially PPKn teachers who have a great responsibility in shaping student character, including discipline attitudes. This study aims to analyze the strategies used by PPKn teachers in instilling discipline in Muhammadiyah 2 Manado Junior High School and to reveal the factors behind students' indisciplined behavior. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of the study showed that teachers implemented several strategies, including good classroom management, habituation of discipline, strict attitude in giving rules, and the application of educational sanctions. The dominant factors that affect the lack of discipline of students come from disharmony in the family and the bad influence of peer association. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that improving student discipline requires synergy from various related parties.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah kenakalan remaja yang terjadi diakibatkan oleh konsumsi minuman keras (miras), akibat yang ditimbulkan dari mengkonsumsi miras yaitu terjadinya pelanggaran norma hukum, norma agama, maupun norma sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengetahui upaya orang tua dalam membina remaja untuk menghindari mengkonsumsi alkhohol (cap tikus) di kelurahan bumi nyiur kota manado. Adapun teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori struktural fungsional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi deskriptif kualitatif, pengumpulan data melalui dokumentasi, wawancara, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orang tua perlu menjadi support sistem bagi anak, dalam hal ini support sistem yang dimaksud adalah orang tua membina anak melakukan hal yang positif. Hal-hal positif tersebut antara lain: mengembangkan minat dan bakat anak dengan mengisi waktu luang menemani anak berolahraga, perlu mengawasi aktivitas mereka guna memantau pergaulan anak, serta memberikan beberapa aturan tegas dan bersanksi. Seperti mengatur waktu makan, waktu tidur dan waktu bermain. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah orang tua berperan sebagai teman, orang tua berperan sebagai pendidik, orang tua sebagai pemantau, orang tua sebagai pengawas, dan orang tua berperan sebagai pendorong.
