Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the application of the ARCS learning model can improve science learning outcomes for students of class VIII A at MTs Darul Ihsan Lelong, to find out student responses to the application of the Attention, Relevance, Confidence, and Satisfaction (ARCS) learning model for class VIII A at MTs Darul Ihsan Auction,. The research subjects were class VIII A students of MTs Darul Ihsan Lelong. This type of research is Classroom Research. In this study there are two variables, the dependent variable is the results of students' science learning and the independent variable is the application of the ARCS learning model in science learning. Based on the results of the analysis of student learning evaluation, it was obtained that classical mastery (KK) in cycle II was 90%, we can see that the percentage of classical completeness has met the classical completeness target of 85%. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the application of the ARCS learning model can improve student learning outcomes, especially in science subjects about substance stress. The results of the student response questionnaire have reached the category that is strongly agree (SS) with a percentage of 87.08%.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the potential integration of nanotechnology, specifically solar cells, in the teaching of Natural Sciences (IPA) at the elementary and secondary education levels. Literature review shows that nanotechnology-based solar cells not only support the understanding of contextual renewable energy concepts but also contribute to strengthening students' critical and creative thinking skills. This integration enriches the science curriculum through a cutting-edge technology-based learning approach that is relevant to the challenges of the 21st century. The study results indicate that the use of nano technology can enhance science literacy, encourage a scientific attitude, and connect scientific concepts with real-life applications. This study also highlights the challenges of implementation and offers recommendations for developing a curriculum that is more responsive to technological advancements. These findings have important implications for educators and policymakers in designing nano-technology-based science learning innovations.

Abstract

Biology learning currently faces challenges in the form of complex material, abstract concepts, and difficult-to-understand language, which impacts students' low learning motivation. This study aims to examine the impact of the application of artificial intelligence (AI) on students' learning motivation in biology education through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. Data were obtained from the Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, and ERIC databases, using the keywords "artificial intelligence," "AI," and "learning motivation" in publications from 2020–2025. Five main articles were analysed and showed that the application of AI consistently has a positive impact on students' learning motivation. The findings show a 75% increase in learning motivation, a significant relationship between AI usage and learning motivation (r = 0.969; p = 0.000), as well as improved learning outcomes. AI contributes through personalised learning, immediate feedback, extensive information access, and more engaging interactions. Chatbots and applications like ChatGPT have proven effective in increasing student engagement and understanding of the material. Overall, the use of AI in biology education can enhance student learning motivation and serve as a potential solution to current biology education challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the influence of the Project Based Learning model through the creation of animated videos on the creativity and learning outcomes of eighth-grade students at MTsN 3 Bima. This type of research uses a quasi-experimental method with a quantitative approach involving two classes: experimental and control. Data collection was conducted using creativity observation sheets and learning outcome tests that had been validated with the Correl validity test and Cronbach's Alpha reliability test. Data analysis used the Shapiro-Wilk normality prerequisite test, Levene's test for homogeneity, and hypothesis testing using the independent sample t-test with a significance level of 5%. The research results showed a significant effect of the Project Based Learning model on students' creativity and learning outcomes, evidenced by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 on both variables. The conclusion of the research proves that the Project Based Learning model can enhance the creativity and learning outcomes of eighth-grade students

Abstract

This study aims to develop an E-Booklet as a biology learning medium, based on the inventory of spice plants found in Tubo, Moya, and Jambula villages, intended for use at SMA Negeri 5 Kota Ternate. The research addresses the limited use of innovative media in classrooms and the underutilization of local biodiversity in education. Employing a modified Borg & Gall Research and Development (R&D) model, the study includes stages such as preliminary investigation, documentation of local spice plant species, E-Booklet design, expert validation, and limited trials with students. Data were collected using observation sheets, expert validation forms, and student learning assessments. The inventory identified a variety of spice plants, including ginger, turmeric, galangal, and nutmeg. Validation results from content and media experts indicated a high level of validity, with average scores exceeding 80%. Trial results demonstrated improved student understanding and interest in biodiversity topics. These findings suggest that the E-Booklet is both valid and effective for enhancing biology instruction. The research underscores the value of integrating local natural resources into educational materials to foster contextual learning and preserve indigenous knowledge. It also offers practical implications for educational policy and curriculum development that promote the inclusion of local wisdom in science education.
