Abstract

This study developed a Brain Based Learning-based sciencelearning module on the sub-matter of the function of human and animal organs. In the module there are very detailed learning objectives so that student learning activities become directed in achieving learning objectives that are valid and practical to use in learning. This research is a development research, namely, developing learning modules using the ADDIE development method. The selection of the ADDIE method is based on the consideration that the ADDIE method is oriented towards learning products. The ADDIE research and development method consists of five stages, namely, the Analysis (Analysis), Design (Desigen), Development (Deplovment), Implementation (Implementation), and Evaluation (Evaluation) stages.  In the research, the trial was conducted at SDN 1 Pusuk Lestari. The research subjects used were class V students as many as 18 students. The assessment instrument used is a validation sheet and student response questionnaire. Based on the results of the feasibility trial, the learning module developed was included in the feasible/valid category. To determine the feasibility of the developed learning module, researchers used material expert validators and media experts using a questionnaire assessment in the form of a Likert scale. The average percentage score obtained from material experts in the first validation was 27.38% while the second validation score obtained was 75% and the media expert validator in the first validation was 31.25% while the second validator produced 75% of the results of the assessment of the two experts, the learning module was categorised as feasible/valid to use. At the small group trial stage, the percentage score obtained was 82.16%, while the large group trial obtained a percentage of 87.22%, which was classified as good.

Abstract

The background of this research is that teachers still have difficulty using available learning media and many physics learning tools/media are not suitable for use. This study aims to produce physics learning media with Android-based simple aircraft material using Adobe Animate applications that have valid criteria. The research instrument used is a validation questionnaire for material experts, media experts, and student responses using small group trials and large group trials at grade VIII junior high schools. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 4 Satap Liukang Tangaya. This research is a Research and Developmend (R&D) research with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The results of this study are Android-based learning media with material expert validation obtained a percentage value of 92.4% with a category very feasible to use, while the assessment of media experts obtained a percentage value of 93.33% with a very feasible category. Small group and large group trials on junior high school students in class VIII were obtained a percentage value of 93.5% and 93.5% which were categorised as very valid or very good. In conclusion, android-based physics learning media on simple aircraft material using adobe animate grade VIII SMP is effective and feasible to use as a junior high school learning media.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes through the guided inqiry model in class VIII MTs Darussalam Beremi and identify student learning motivation. This research is a classroom research that uses steps, namely planning, implementation, evaluation and reflection. Data were collected using learning outcomes test instruments, motivation questionnaires. The results of this study are in cycle I obtained an average score of 60 so that it can be said that the learning outcomes of students were below the KKM, while in cycle II obtained an average score of 85 so it can be concluded that using the IT learning model can increase student motivation and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity of the development of inquiry-based phet-assisted physics learning modules on effort and energy material according to media experts at SMA Negeri 1 Gerung, and to determine the validity of the development of inquiry-based phet-assisted physics learning modules on effort and energy material according to material experts at SMA Negeri 1 Gerung. The research instrument used is a validation questionnaire for material experts, media experts, teachers, and student responses using small group trials and large group trials in class X IPA. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Gerung West Lombok majoring in Science This research is a Research and Developmend (R&D) model developed in this study is ASSURE, this ASSURE model uses 6 stages, namely: (1) Analyse Learners, (2) State Objectives, (3) Select Strategy, Technology, Media, and Materials, (4) Utilise Technology, Media and Materials, (5) Require Learner Participation, (6) Evaluate and Revise. The results of this study are the Physics Learning Module from material experts obtained a percentage value of 75.58% with a category worth using, the assessment of media experts obtained a percentage value with a category, for the assessment of the Sma Negeri 1 Gerung teacher obtained a percentage value of 82.24% with a category agreeing to be used in the school, and for the assessment of small groups and large groups obtained a percentage value of 85% and 88% categorised as a conclusion: Inquiry-based Phet-assisted Physics Learning Module is feasible to use, effective and active to use as Physics Learning Module.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the level of understanding and misconceptions of students using the five tier diagnostic test instrument on temperature and heat material. The research method used was descriptive quantitative research. The research was conducted at SMAN 1 Brang Rea with the number of participants as many as 25 students of class XI MIA 1. The instrument used in this research is a five tier diagnostic test of 20 items.  Based on the results of the analysis of this instrument can not only analyse misconceptions but also can analyse students who fully understand, partially understand and do not understand the concept. So that the results of the diagnostic test analysis of students obtained a full understanding level of 38.93%, and a misconception level of 38.93%. Partially understood by 13.33% and did not understand the concept by 8.80%. The cause of misconceptions is mostly caused by one's own thinking because the average confidence level of the causal source for one's own thinking has a greater value than the other causal sources. Although the percentage of misconceptions is moderate, there are still students who experience misconceptions on the material.

Abstract

The background of this research is because most of the fifth grade elementary school students in this thematic learning feel that the learning that is being carried out tends to be monotonous and the children become bored and lack enthusiasm in learning. This research aims to increase the understanding of fifth grade students at SD Negeri Karangasem in increasing enthusiasm in learning especially in thematic subjects. The subjects of this study were 11 fifth grade students at SDN Karangasem. Instruments in this study were interviews, observations, tests, documentation, and field notes. The results of the study prove that there is a significant increase when researchers use the discussion method. When the implementation of cycle I obtained greater or equal good ethics, only 10% with a number of students of 2 students from a total of 11 students. Then in cycle III the increase in student learning motivation has obtained indicators of success, because the number of students who obtain is greater or as good as 90% with a total of 11 students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was conducted to reveal the perceptions of early childhood education (ECE) teachers towards neuroscience myths. This research uses descriptive qualitative research, namely by using survey research methods. In qualitative research the most important feature comes from natural / real qualitative methods at the interview stage with the help of Google from in the form of questionnaires distributed via WhatsApp social media and observed the results of the respondents. The population in this study were PAUD teachers in the Lombok and Bali regions. With a large sample of 102 PAUD teachers, 51 people from the Lombok region and 51 people from the Bali region. The results showed that teachers' belief in neuromyths is very high, and there are 5 statements of fact that have been understood but the level of understanding cannot be detected. In addition, teachers still have difficulty distinguishing between myths and facts about neuroscience. For this reason, the researcher suggests improving science-based programs by working with teachers and neuroscientists. Teachers will benefit from more accurate brain knowledge and include introductory neuroscience materials in pre-teacher education.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of implementing the video-assisted treffinger model on energy material changing the form of science learning at SDN 3 MEREMBU. From the results of observations of the material, changes in shape are relatively low. To overcome this, a video-assisted Treffinger learning model was applied. The research method used is quantitative, the research design is Pre-Experimental Design type one group pretest-posttest Design. This research was conducted on one experimental class group which was not randomly selected. From this research, it can be seen that there has been an increase in the average, namely from 58.17 (pretest) to 70.33 (posttest). The results of the normality test on energy changes learning outcomes obtained a pretest and posttest significance value of 0.063<0.065 so the data was said to be normally distributed. Meanwhile, the output results of the paired sample T test show a sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000. Based on the basis of decision making on the paired sample T test if sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05 then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. In the data above the sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05 indicates a better effect. In the interpretation table, the R square coefficient of 0.80-1.000 is included in the very strong category so it can be concluded that the video-assisted Treffinger model has a very strong influence on learning outcomes for class 4 science energy changes material. subjects at SDN 3 Merembu Bengkel for the 2023/2024 academic year

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of discovery learning model assisted by lectora inspire media in improving motivation and learning outcomes in Physics at MAN 1 West Sumbawa. The type of research used in this research is quasi experiment. The population in this study as well as the research sample was 38 students. Previously, learning used a conventional model, in this case the researcher applied a new innovation by applying the discovery learning model. Data collection techniques are tests, questionnaires and documentation. Based on the results of the analysis of the final test (posttest) experimental class average value of 82.37 and control class 66.32. Based on the results of data analysis using the t-test, the t-count is 8.468 and the t-table at the significance level of 0.005 is 2.878, then the t-count> t-table. The results of the analysis of learning motivation of the experimental class obtained an average value of 59.05 and the control class 52.68. Based on the results of data analysis using t-test obtained t-count of 7.596 and t-table at a significance level of 0.005 of 2.878, then t-count> t-table. It can be concluded that there is an effect of discovery learning model assisted by lectora inspire media in increasing motivation and learning outcomes in Physics at MAN 1 West Sumbawa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using a problem-based learning model on students' critical thinking skills on substance pressure material. This research is located at MTs Putri Al-Ishlahuddiny Kediri with a total of 4 classes in class VIII. The samples used in this study were 2 classes selected by simple random sampling, so that class VIII D as the experimental class and Class VIII C as the control class. This type of research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental research approach, pretest-postest control group design type . The n-gain test results obtained in the experimental class 0, 12 and the control class -0.044 and based on the results of the hypothesis test using the independent sample t-test test that has been carried out obtained a value of 0.000. Based on the results of the n-gain test and hypothesis testing that the thinking ability of students is more improved in the experimental class so that there is an effect of using theproblem-based learning  modelon the thinking ability of students on substance pressure material.
