Abstract

Indonesia's South Sumatra province generates substantial four-wheeled vehicle registration activity, yet the administrative records that document this activity have rarely been subjected to systematic analytical scrutiny. This study draws on Samsat vehicle registration data from 2025 and the first quarter of 2026 to examine how new vehicle adoption patterns differ across engine displacement (CC) segments. The dataset spanned 15 Excel files: Dataset A covered the full year 2025 (17,867 units), while Dataset B captured Q1 2026 (6,190 units). Because column naming conventions varied across files, a keyword-matching-based preprocessing pipeline was developed to handle integration. The analysis combined the Mann-Kendall Trend Test, Sen's Slope Estimator, STL Decomposition, Kruskal-Wallis Test, and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) as an out-of-sample projection benchmark. The Mann-Kendall test returned no statistically significant monotonic trend (p = 0.7105), which indicates that the proportional split between engine displacement categories stayed broadly stable over the observation window. Low-displacement vehicles (≤1,500 cc) held a consistent majority, averaging 66.10% of monthly registrations, throughout the period. STL Decomposition revealed a seasonal component responsible for roughly 50.02% of total data variance; the low-displacement segment peaked in November, while the high-displacement segment peaked in March. Projection accuracy, measured by MAPE, came in at 14.46% for the low-displacement segment (Accurate) and 37.92% for the high-displacement segment (Moderately Accurate). Based on these results, Samsat's administrative data proves to be highly useful for practical applications. Regional governments can utilize this data to improve public service planning and estimate regional own-source revenue (PAD) more accurately

Abstract

The low levels of learning activity, collaborative skills, and learning outcomes in Integrated Science and Social Studies (IPAS) remain a major challenge in implementing 21st-century learning, which emphasizes active student participation. Preliminary observations conducted in Class V-B of MIN 4 Tebo revealed that most students demonstrated limited participation in group discussions, ineffective task distribution, and learning outcomes that had not yet met the expected minimum mastery criteria. This study aimed to improve students' learning activities, collaborative activities, and learning outcomes through the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model based on a Mount Merapi simulation in IPAS learning. The study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consisted of two cycles involving planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research participants were 16 fifth-grade students of Class V-B at MIN 4 Tebo. Data were collected through observations, achievement tests, interviews, and documentation, while the data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative techniques. The findings indicated that the implementation of Project Based Learning based on the Mount Merapi simulation significantly improved students' learning activities from 62.5% in Cycle I to 93.8% in Cycle II. Students' collaborative activities also increased from 47.8% to 86.3%, while learning mastery improved from 64.3% to 100%, with the class average score reaching 86.6 in Cycle II. These findings demonstrate that project-based learning effectively promotes active student engagement, strengthens collaborative skills, and enhances conceptual understanding through contextual and meaningful learning experiences. Therefore, the Project Based Learning model based on the Mount Merapi simulation can serve as an effective instructional alternative for improving the quality of IPAS learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low beginning reading skills of first-grade students at MIN 4 Tebo, which were characterized by difficulties in recognizing letters, distinguishing similar letter shapes, and limited reading fluency. These problems were influenced by the dominance of conventional teaching methods and the lack of engaging instructional media. The aim of this study was to improve students’ beginning reading skills through the implementation of Bingo Reading media. This research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The participants were first-grade students at MIN 4 Tebo. Data were collected through observation sheets of student and teacher activities, reading tests, and documentation. The results of the study showed that the implementation of Bingo Reading media improved the quality of classroom learning, particularly in increasing students’ attention, participation, and collaboration. In addition, the media supported the development of reading automaticity in recognizing letters, syllables, and simple words, which gradually enhanced students’ beginning reading skills across cycles. Therefore, it can be concluded that Bingo Reading media is an effective instructional strategy to improve beginning reading skills by creating an active, interactive, and enjoyable learning environment in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study addressed the empirical gap regarding the mechanisms underlying consumer purchase decisions within the direct digital commerce framework, focusing on Erlimakids consumers on Shopee and TikTok Shop. The primary objective was to investigate the structural path of live streaming perceptions and product specialization in driving purchase intentions, while concurrently examining the specific role of marketplace consumer trust as an operational mediator. Utilizing an explanatory quantitative approach based on the Stimulus-Organism-Response model, primary data from 161 validated respondents were statistically analyzed via Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The structural model evaluation demonstrated that both live streaming quality and strategic product specialization substantially reinforced consumer trust, which subsequently exerted a critical directive influence on purchase intention. Furthermore, product specialization emerged as the most dominant direct determinant of purchase preferences. The mediation analysis verified that consumer trust in the marketplace operated as a substantive partial mediator, indicating a dual-track cognitive mechanism where purchase intention was simultaneously shaped by trust-based psychological evaluations and direct attribute assessment. Consequently, integrating specialized product positioning with interactive digital communication effectively maximized transactional conversions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teacher professional competence, the factors influencing teacher professional competence, and the role of school organizational culture in supporting the improvement of teacher professional competence at SD Kecamatan Kempas, Indragiri Hilir District. Based on interviews with the principal and teachers, it was found that although teacher professional competence is generally good, challenges still exist regarding the mastery of technology and the limited time available to implement new teaching methods. Individual, organizational, and managerial factors significantly affect the development of teacher competence, while organizational culture that supports collaboration among teachers has proven to strengthen professional competence improvement. However, there are barriers related to limited access to training and insufficient facilities that need to be addressed. A more open and collaborative organizational culture, along with increased access to training, is essential to supporting the sustainable development of teacher competence. This study is expected to contribute to more effective management of organizational culture in other schools

Abstract

Learning Science and Social Studies, particularly the topic of landforms, remains challenging because classroom instruction is largely dependent on textbooks, limiting students' opportunities to experience meaningful and contextual learning. Since landform concepts are more easily understood when connected to the surrounding environment, this study aimed to develop an animated learning video based on the local environment of Bogor and examine its feasibility and effectiveness in improving students' conceptual understanding of IPAS. This research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The product was tested on 26 fifth-grade students. Data were collected through observations, interviews, expert validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, and pretest and posttest assessments. Quantitative descriptive analysis was used to evaluate the product, while its effectiveness was determined using the N-Gain score. The results indicated that the animated video achieved excellent feasibility, with validation scores of 100% from media experts, 98% from subject matter experts, and 100% from language experts. Positive responses were also obtained from teachers (94.67%) and students (98%). Students' conceptual understanding improved, as reflected by the increase in the mean score from 61.54 on the pretest to 88.62 on the posttest, with an N-Gain score of 0.649, categorized as moderate. Therefore, the developed animated video is considered valid, practical, and effective as an alternative instructional medium for IPAS learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the sustainability of the Tialo Tribe wedding tradition in Tomini District as a cultural heritage practiced in harmony with Islamic teachings and containing educational values. The research aimed to describe the Tialo wedding tradition, examine the stages of implementation, and analyze the values of Islamic education contained in it. The research used a descriptive qualitative method in Tomini District, Parigi Moutong Regency, with data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Informants were selected through purposive sampling involving traditional leaders, religious leaders, heads of KUA, village heads, and community leaders. Data analysis were carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion while data validity was ensured through triangulation and member check. The results of the research show that the Tialo Tribe wedding tradition is a cultural system that integrates Islamic customs and values through ideas, social activities, and cultural symbols. This tradition is carried out through the pre-marriage, marriage contract, and post-marriage stages involving active community participation. The values of Islamic education contained include the values of faith, worship, morals, and social which are reflected in belief in Allah, the implementation of worship, respect for parents, responsibility, deliberation, mutual cooperation, solidarity, and friendship.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of ethnomathematics-based learning in developing students' science and mathematics competencies at Muhammadiyah Malawili Elementary School. The study was motivated by students' low conceptual understanding, which is attributed to instructional practices that remain predominantly abstract and lack contextual relevance. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed. The research participants consisted of fourth-grade teachers, students from Classes 4A and 4B, and the school principal. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participant observation, and document analysis, and were analyzed using the interactive model developed by Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The findings indicate that ethnomathematics-based learning effectively contextualizes mathematical and scientific concepts through the integration of local cultural practices, thereby enabling students to develop a more concrete understanding of these concepts. The major findings include: (1) the effective use of cultural artifacts as instructional media; (2) the pivotal role of teachers in mediating the relationship between local culture and scientific concepts; (3) increased student engagement and learning motivation; (4) the integrated development of science and mathematics competencies; and (5) challenges in implementation, particularly regarding teachers' preparedness and the availability of culturally relevant learning resources. This study contributes to strengthening ethnomathematics as a contextual and pedagogically relevant approach to 21st-century education. The implications highlight the need to enhance teachers' professional capacity, develop culture-based instructional materials, and strengthen school policies that support the integration of local culture into classroom learning. Future research is recommended to investigate the implementation of ethnomathematics across broader and more diverse educational contexts.

Abstract

Islamic educational institutions are currently facing an accountability crisis and the phenomenon of a "simulacrum of compliance" dominated by secular administrative instruments. The failure of conventional managerial paradigms highlights the urgent need to reconstruct a holistic performance management model. This study aims to formulate an integrated model through four main pillars: Qalbu (intuitive control), Religion (theological foundation), Culture (social control), and Law (formal regulation). Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) based on PRISMA 2020 guidelines, 28 key publications from Scopus, Web of Science, and Sinta (2017–2026) were analyzed thematically. The review indicates that the pillars of Qalbu (muraqabah) and Religion serve as the foundation for internal control, mitigating the risk of moral deviation, while Culture (peer control) and Law (Islamic Boarding School Law 18/2019, e-RKAM) act as instruments for enforcing external collective standards. This research proposes "The Integrity Fortress," a conceptual model that synergizes vertical (transcendental) and horizontal (socio-structural) value flows. As a practical output, this model includes an implementation design matrix tailored for Madrasah Aliyah. The design features concrete applications ranging from "Unsupervised Classrooms" to internalizing Qalbu values to the utilization of the e-Madrasah system for legal certainty, illustrated through a governance scenario for student organization funds (OSIM). In conclusion, accountability in Islamic education requires an interlocking ecosystem where spiritual consciousness is transformed into organizational culture and subsequently formalized within the legal system.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using natural material-based science learning media on the science abilities of children aged 5–6 years. The main problem addressed in this study is the low level of children's science abilities, which are still dominated by conventional learning that lacks direct experiential engagement. This study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The research subjects consisted of 31 children divided into two groups: the experimental group (16 children) and the control group (15 children). Data were collected using observation instruments and science ability tests covering indicators such as observing, classifying, conducting simple experiments, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the mean posttest score of the experimental group (43.13) was higher than that of the control group (35.07). The independent sample t-test revealed a significant difference (p < 0.05) between the two groups. In addition, the N-Gain analysis indicated a high improvement in the experimental group (0.79) and a moderate improvement in the control group (0.48). These findings demonstrate that the use of natural material-based learning media effectively improves children's science abilities. In conclusion, natural material-based learning media have a significant effect on early childhood science abilities. The practical implication of this study highlights the importance of utilizing the surrounding environment as a contextual, effective, and economical learning resource. Theoretically, this study reinforces the concept of experience-based constructivist learning in early childhood education.
