This study examines the representation of love between the main characters, Akito and Haruna, in the film Yomei Ichinen no Boku ga, Yomei Hantoshi no Kimi to Datta Hanashi, also known as Drawing Closer. Directed by Takahiro Miki in 2024, this research employs a qualitative descriptive method and a literary psychology approach. It utilizes a note-taking technique to analyze character dialogues and classify data according to Robert J. Sternberg's Triangular Theory of Love. The goal is to explore the forms of love exhibited by Akito towards Haruna and to delve into the underlying values of their relationship from a literary psychology perspective, focusing on the components of intimacy, passion, and commitment as outlined by Sternberg. The findings reveal that the main character, particularly Akito, embodies two components of love, illustrated through nine key elements reflecting intimacy and commitment in his attitudes and behaviors towards Haruna. This analysis ultimately identifies the theme of friendship and love, highlighting its significance in understanding relational dynamics in contemporary narratives.

This research aims to explore and examine the meaning of the mythical narrative of the God Fish in the Monte Hair Lake as part of efforts to conserve endemic animals and preserve their habitats. Oral literature in the form of myths in the region is examined and scrutinized in order to find values that are full of the call to protect nature and the living things that exist in it. This study uses a qualitative approach through narrative analysis as a method, with Roland Barthes' semiotic theory and Durkheim's theory of belief as the basis of the analysis. The data used were in the form of oral speech, phenomena, and behaviors that had indications related to animal conservation efforts and literature review. The data sources in the study were the key interpreters and the community around the lake in the form of data in the form of oral narrative speech. Structured interview techniques and literature review collected data. Based on the research that has been carried out, the findings in this study show several forms of myths spread in the region, including that the God Fish is told as the incarnation of a royal warrior, cannot be consumed, has luck, and is sacred. The existence of myths in the Monte Hair area has a function to strengthen collective awareness to maintain the existence of the God Fish as a 'protector' of the local aquatic ecosystem of the Monte Hair Lake.

The development of modern linguistics is spurred by technological advances and research methodologies, which encourage the utilization of new approaches such as corpus linguistics and bibliometric analysis. This method is essential for understanding the complexity of language in social and cultural contexts and identifying trends in research and scientific collaboration. This study aims to map the development of modern linguistics with a bibliometric approach using data from Scopus and Google Scholar from 2019 to 2023. The main objective of this study is to identify patterns of publications, scientific collaborations, and thematic clusters in linguistics. The methods used include bibliometric analysis with VOSviewer software to visualize the data. The analysis results reveal four main clusters in the Scopus data: traditional linguistics, computational linguistics, applied linguistics, and corpus linguistics. Meanwhile, an analysis from Google Scholar shows five clusters that show significant contributions from developing countries, especially in Southeast Asia. The United States and Western European countries were identified as the dominant centers of scientific collaboration, while the involvement of developing countries was limited. These findings highlight the integration between linguistics and technology and a shift in research focus towards interdisciplinarity. This research provides important insights for understanding the modern linguistic scientific landscape. It offers strategic implications for researchers, journal editors, and policymakers in designing research directions more responsive to global challenges.

Webtoon NDW is a literary work that presents vertical image panels, making it unique from other scholarly works. As a popular fantasy genre work, researchers suspect that there is a formula in the Webtoon NDW story. This study aims to reveal the fantasy formula in the Webtoon Nusantara Droid War (NDW) story by Vega Mandalika. The type of research is qualitative and uses the theoretical basis of the fantasy formula from Deborah Chester (2016), which consists of three elements: story roles, magic, and a special world. Data were obtained from episodes 1 to 50 of Webtoon NDW through data collection with documentation techniques and literature studies. Then, it was analyzed through data condensation, presentation, and conclusion to find patterns in the research object. The study results show that the Webtoon NDW story has three categories of characters, each with its role. The closer a character is to the minor category, the more limited their appearance will be. The story's characters use spells with different functions, such as turning on droids or summoning magical powers. Webtoon NDW presents a special world with wonders not found in other worlds. These three elements are present repeatedly and consistently in the Webtoon NDW story. Thus, some patterns in the NDW story follow the fantasy formula proposed by Deborah Chester. The study results help develop popular literary theory, especially the fantasy formula in Webtoon, and serve as a reference for similar research in the future. This study requires further research to determine the influence and effectiveness of Webtoon NDW in learning literature in the digital era.

This article examines the social dilemmas that emerge in the Javanese short film Weweh, produced by Sanggar Ori Gunung Kidul, using the perspective of literary sociology through Pierre Bourdieu's theory, especially the concepts of habitus, capital, arena, and symbolic violence. This study aims to identify the social dilemmas in the short film Weweh and the factors that cause them. The data analysis method in this study uses the semiotic method to interpret the signs and interpret them through hermeneutics. The results of the analysis show that there are two primary forms of social dilemmas, namely unrequited kindness and unfulfilled social expectations. Meanwhile, the factors that cause social dilemmas include economic inability, social disorganization, and moral dilemmas. These findings illustrate how social structures and individual positions in the social arena influence the experience of social dilemmas and how symbolic violence reinforces the tensions that occur. Thus, the film Weweh reflects the complexity of social relations and societal power dynamics.

The analysis shows that the values of equal rights and opportunities are the most dominant aspect in the novel, with a frequency of 32%. This is reflected in the representation of female characters who have equal access and opportunities to men, both in private and public spaces. The value of individual independence is also prominent (25%), depicting women as figures capable of making decisions and acting independently. Furthermore, individual freedom and life choices are recorded at 21%, demonstrating the space for female characters to determine their own direction. Public participation reaches 14%, demonstrating women's involvement in the social and political spheres. Meanwhile, rejection of traditional gender roles emerged at 7%, demonstrating resistance to stereotypes that limit women's roles in society. Overall, the five components of liberal feminist values in this novel demonstrate that Mata dan Nyala Api Purba (The Eyes and the Ancient Flame) is imbued with the spirit of emancipation and gender equality. Therefore, this literary work can be used as a learning resource to enrich understanding of feminist values within the context of Indonesian culture.

The problem in this study is how the function of directive speech acts in the film "Until Tomorrow" by Evelyn Afnilia. This study aims to describe and analyze the function of directive speech acts in the film "Until Tomorrow" by Evelyn Afnilia. The theory used in this study is the theory of the function of directive speech acts proposed by George Yule. This study uses a qualitative approach using the Content Analysis method. The data source in this study is all the speech of the Until Tomorrow film players. The research data includes all the speeches of the Until Tomorrow film players, which are included in the function of directive speech acts. Data were collected through listening techniques, note-taking techniques, and documentation techniques. The study's results in the film Until Tomorrow found 38 directive speech acts with seven speech act functions. These findings conclude that the most frequently occurring directive speech acts are commanding directive speech acts, consisting of 14 data points. The commanding function in this film is full of emotional pressure and conflict, such as difficult decisions or urgent responsibilities. In situations like this, characters tend to use commands to assert authority, convey urgency, or regulate actions, rather than a more polite form of asking. The dominance of the “Commanding” function shows how the emotional pressure and conflict in this film push the characters to take direct, decisive action, which is important for building the intensity of the drama in the romantic narrative.
