Abstract

Orientasi seksual merupakan perilaku seksual yang tidak sesuai norma dan nilai masyarakat sehingga perlunya peran guru BK dalam melakukan layanan pencegahan bagi remaja. Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan upaya guru BK dalam mencegah penyimpangan orientasi seksual pada remaja SLTA Kecamatan Banda Raya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat upaya guru BK di SLTA Banda Raya yaitu mengindentifikasi orientasi seksual seperti observasi dan wawancara, layanan informasi bimbingan dan konseling seperti layanan dan bimbingan klasikal, dukungan kerjasama kepada guru BK seperti kerjasama warga sekolah dan kemitraan sekolah.

Abstract

Communication helps build strong relationships between students and guidance and counseling teachers so that they can provide confidence in conveying their problems. This research aims to determine the relationship between guidance and counseling teachers' interpersonal communication with students' confidence in presenting problems at Banda Aceh City Public High Schools. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlation research type. The population in this study were students of Banda Aceh City State High School with a sample of 687 students consisting of classes VII-VIII of Banda Aceh State High School 4 and Banda Aceh State High School 16 using the probability sampling method with cluster random sampling technique. Based on the research results, it shows that the degree of relationship (correlation) between the independent variable and the dependent variable is 44.8%, meaning that the interpersonal communication of guidance and counseling teachers at Banda Aceh City State High School has a moderate level relationship with trust in conveying student problems. If interpersonal communication is in the high category, then trust in conveying problems is also in the high category. The interpersonal communication relationship of guidance and counseling teachers has a significant effect on confidence in conveying problems to Banda Aceh City State High School students.Keywords: Interpersonal Communication, Trust in Conveying Problems.

Abstract

Kecemasan menghadapi dunia kerja merupakan rasa takut atau khawatir pada situasi tertentu yang dapat menyebabkan kegelisahan karena ketidakpastian yang dialami oleh mahasiswa akhir yang sedang menyelesaikan pendidikan dan akan memasuki dunia kerja.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menggambarkan tingkat kecemasan dalam menghadapi dunia kerja pada mahasiswa semester akhir di Universitas Syiah Kuala. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa akhir angkatan 2018/2019 pada lima Fakultas yaitu KIP, Teknik, Ekonomi dan Bisnis, Pertanian dan Hukum yang berjumlah 10.787 mahasiswa dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 388 mahasiswa. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik Clustered Random Sampling menggunakan rumus Slovin. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan skala kecemasan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kecemasan dalam menghadapi dunia kerja mahasiswa akhir berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase 57% (221), hasil analisis berdasarkan Fakultas berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase FKIP 60,48% (101) dari 167 mahasiswa, teknik 60% (48) dari 80 mahasiswa, ekonomi dan bisnis 50,98% (26) dari 51 mahasiswa, pertanian 50,77% (33) dari 51 mahasiswa dan hukum 52% (13) dari 25 mahasiswa. Kemudian hasil analisis berdasarkan aspek-aspek kecemasan berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase yang berbeda-beda yaitu aspek afektif 53,35% (207), aspek fisiologis 48,97% (190), Aspek kognitif 53,09% (206) dan aspek Perilaku 54.12% (210). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa mahasiswa semester akhir di Universitas Syiah Kuala mengalami Tingkat kecemasan yang tinggi dalam menghadapi dunia kerja.

Abstract

Children who have high self-regulation will be diligent in learning and continue to learn continuously without knowing despair and can put aside things that can interfere with learning activities. Self-regulation is the process of directing individuals to be able to control themselves against negative impulses from the environment. This study aims to find out the overview of self-regulation and student learning discipline, as well as to find out the relationship between self-regulation and learning discipline in students of SMK Negeri 2 Banda Aceh City. The total population in this study is 641 students consisting of grades 10 and 11 of SMK Negeri 2 Banda Aceh. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive type of quantitative research. The sampling technique uses the Multistage random sampling technique, so that the number of research samples is 100 students. The data analysis technique in this study uses descriptive statistical analysis and correlation analysis. There are five categorizations, namely Very High, High, Medium, Low and Very Low. Based on statistical analysis, the level of self-regulation and learning discipline of dominant students is in the low category. Based on correlation analysis, it is known that the correlation value between self-regulation variables and learning disciplines has a value of 0.422** and a significance value of 0.000, meaning that there is a positive and significant correlation between self-regulation and learning discipline, with correlations that are at a moderate level.

Abstract

The study assessed principals administrative role on teachers job performance in private secondary schools in Ilorin South local government area, Kwara state. The research design used for this study was a descriptive survey of the correctional-type method. The study was guided by 5 purposes with 3 research questions and 2 hypotheses. The population of the study consisted of 180 respondents from private secondary schools. The sample for this study was selected using the Purposive sampling technique. The sample consisted of 30 principals and 150 teachers from 30 private secondary schools in Ilorin South Local Government Area, Kwara State. The researcher's instrument was titled Principals Administrative Roles Teachers Job Performance Questionnaire (PARTJPQ) which was filled by principals and teachers. The study used a 4-point Likert scale questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of 0.87, and descriptive statistics to answer research questions. In contrast, PPMC was used to test null hypotheses at a significance level 0.05. The findings suggest that principal supervisory roles are effective in enhancing teachers' job performance in private secondary schools in Ilorin South Local Government Area, Kwara State. One of the recommendations of this study is the need for School administrators should provide targeted training for principals to improve their supervisory skills, focusing on effective strategies for discipline, record-keeping, and the use of teaching aids.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran dan hubungan antara Need for Dominance dengan fungsi kepemimpinan pada mahasiswa aktif berorganisasi Universitas Syiah Kuala. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitaf dengan teknik deskriptif korelasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh pengurus harian organisasi kemahasiswaan dengan jumlah 29 organisasi dan populasi yang ditujukan kepada 87 mahasiswa yaitu ketua, wakil ketua dan sekretaris. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan total sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dua skala yaitu Need for Dominance dan fungsi kepemimpinan dengan jenis skala likert yang disebarkan secara online kepada mahasiswa. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa Need for Dominance pada mahasiswa aktif berorganisasi 71% (62 mahasiswa) berada pada kategori sangat tinggi, 26% (23 mahasiswa) berada pada kategori tinggi dan 2% (2 mahasiswa) pada kategori sedang, dan hasil pada fungsi kepemimpinan mahasiswa aktif berorganisasi menunjukkan 90% (78 mahasiswa) berada pada kategori sangat tinggi dan 10% (9 mahasiswa) berada pada kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan uji korelasi Rank Speaerman menunjukkan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,969 yang artinya adanya korelasi yang positif dan signifikan ini termasuk kedalam kategori sempurna antara Need for Dominance dengan fungsi kepemipinan pada mahasiswa aktif berorganisasi Universitas Syiah Kuala.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the reading difficulties experienced by second-grade elementary school students and identify effective teaching strategies to help overcome these issues. The subjects of the study include students who struggle with blending syllables, students who do not recognize letters, and students who stutter while spelling. The method used is a case study with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results show that the use of phonics methods, syllable-blending exercises, interactive letter recognition, and a gradual approach to spelling successfully improved students' reading skills. However, challenges such as differences in students' abilities and limited instructional time remain obstacles. This study highlights the importance of collaboration between teachers, parents, and students in addressing children's reading difficulties
