Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan kepatuhan diet pada penderita diabetes melitus tipe 2 di RSU Bhakti Asih Tangerang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Cross-Sectional dengan sampel 30 orang yang diambil melalui total sampling dan telah memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa responden dengan pengetahuan baik sebanyak 3 orang (10,0%), pengetahuan cukup sebanyak 8 orang (26,3%), dan pengetahuan kurang sebanyak 19 orang (63,3%). Sedangkan responden yang patuh diet dengan kategori baik sebanyak 1 orang (3,7%), cukup sebanyak 20 orang (66,7%), dan kurang sebanyak 9 orang (30,0%). Berdasarkan analisis hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dan kepatuhan diet penderita diabetes mellitus tipe II di RSU Bhakti Asih Tangerang, diperoleh nilai p = 0,034 menggunakan uji Chi-Square, yang menunjukkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan dan kepatuhan diet (p < 0,05). Diharapkan petugas kesehatan terus memotivasi dan memberikan edukasi kepada penderita diabetes mengenai penyakit diabetes melitus dan kepatuhan dalam diet.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pemenuhan personal hygiene pada lansia dengan tingkat dukungan keluarga. Indonesia menghadapi tantangan demografis dengan semakin meningkatnya jumlah lansia, yang memerlukan perhatian lebih dalam pemeliharaan kesehatan, khususnya personal hygiene. Dukungan keluarga memainkan peran penting dalam menjaga kebersihan diri lansia, yang dapat memengaruhi kesehatan mereka secara keseluruhan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional, dengan 73 responden lansia yang dibagi ke dalam kategori dukungan keluarga baik dan kurang. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur dan dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden (61,6%) menerima dukungan keluarga yang baik, sementara 60,3% lansia mengalami pemenuhan personal hygiene yang kurang baik. Hasil uji Chi-Square menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan keluarga dengan pemenuhan personal hygiene (p-value = 0,01). Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa dukungan keluarga yang baik dapat meningkatkan kualitas personal hygiene lansia. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menyarankan pentingnya penyuluhan kepada keluarga mengenai peran mereka dalam mendukung pemeliharaan kebersihan diri lansia, serta perlunya kerja sama dengan fasilitas kesehatan setempat untuk meningkatkan kesadaran tentang pentingnya personal hygiene di kalangan lansia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen pelayanan pasien Diabetes Mellitus (DM) di RSU Bhakti Asih Kota Tangerang dengan fokus pada kualitas pelayanan medis dan faktor yang memengaruhi efektivitas manajemen pelayanan. Diabetes Mellitus merupakan penyakit kronis dengan prevalensi yang terus meningkat, sehingga memerlukan pengelolaan pelayanan kesehatan yang optimal untuk mencegah komplikasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Populasi penelitian adalah pasien DM dengan jumlah 126 orang, dan sampel sebanyak 73 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan observasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi-Square dan Odds Ratio (OR). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden menilai kualitas pelayanan medis dalam kategori baik (80%), sedangkan sisanya menilai kurang (15%) dan tidak puas (5%). Analisis bivariat menunjukkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara kualitas pelayanan medis dengan manajemen pelayanan pasien DM (p < 0,05). Nilai OR sebesar 1,16 menunjukkan bahwa pelayanan medis yang baik meningkatkan peluang manajemen pelayanan yang lebih efektif. Selain itu, faktor usia tenaga pelayanan juga berpengaruh terhadap kualitas manajemen pelayanan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah kualitas pelayanan medis memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap efektivitas manajemen pelayanan pasien DM. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan kualitas layanan, kompetensi tenaga kesehatan, serta penerapan standar operasional prosedur yang konsisten sangat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kepuasan pasien dan mutu pelayanan rumah sakit.

Abstract

The average waiting time to obtain outpatient medical records at the Baladhika Husada Jember Hospital reached 56.7 minutes, exceeding the minimum service standard which should be no more than 10 minutes. The aim of the research was to analyze the factors that cause the long time to provide outpatient medical records at the Baladhika Husada Jember Hospital used the 5M management elements. This research used qualitative methods with data collection techniques of documentation, observation, interviews, urgency, seriousness, and growth. The research subjects were 1 head of the medical records unit, 5 filling officers, 4 registration officers, and 3 nurses. The research results were show that the man variable was the lack of knowledge of officers. Method, there was no SOP for providing outpatient medical records. Machine, SIMRS error. Media, filling rooms were not strategic and there were officers who arrived late. Motivation without punishment. Efforts to fix the problem include moving the filling room on the 2nd floor adjacent to the outpatient registration area on the 1st floor and switching to using Electronic Medical Records. The advice given to Baladhika Husada Hospital is to relocate the filling room and develop the existing SIMRS to become 100% Electronic Medical Records.

Abstract

Total of 33% of 194 medical resume files experienced incomplete filling in the first quarter and second quarter of 2022. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors causing incompleteness in inpatient medical resumes at Dr. H. Koesnadi Bondowoso Hospital. The research method applied was qualitative using data collection techniques through documentation, observation, and interviews. The research subjects consisted of the head of medical records, 3 doctors, 3 nurses, 3 admins, and 1 assembling medical recorder. The results of the study namely the lack of discipline of doctors in filling out medical resumes, the lack of knowledge of officers regarding filling completeness, there are doctors who have multiple job descriptions, there is no SOP for the completeness of filling out medical resumes, and there are still officers who do not follow the socialization of the SOP for the completeness of filling. The improvement efforts obtained are conducting socialization related to filling, cooperation between nurses and admins to remind doctors, doctors immediately fill out resumes after outpatient clinics, conducting training on filling completeness, limiting working hours and the number of patients handled by doctors, making SOPs for the completeness of medical resumes, and re-socializing SOPs.

Abstract

The existing ergonomic arrangement of the medical records room at Nganjuk Regional Hospital (RSD) is currently encountering several challenges, including non-compliance with requirements and inefficient utilization of storage space. These issues involve inadequate shelving and the mismatch of officers' chairs and tables with their anthropometry, leading to discomfort and restricted movement during their duties. This study aims to scrutinize the ergonomic design of the medical record storage room at Nganjuk Regional Hospital in 2022, using qualitative research methods like observation, interviews, documentation, and brainstorming. The research adopts the anthropometric approach to ensure the medical record storage layout at Nganjuk Regional Hospital meets established ergonomic standards. By adjusting shelves, chairs, and tables based on officers' body sizes and proportions, the workspace becomes more comfortable and tailored to their physical needs. The research outcomes include reshaping shelves, chairs, and tables according to officers' anthropometry, along with the recommendation for 70 racks. Additionally, the recording room's reorganization is planned with a more ergonomic layout, covering 252 square meters to accommodate 63 racks.

Abstract

Kemuningsarı Kıdul Community Health Center has been using SIMPUS as from 2013. The SIMPUS implemented at Kemuningsarı Community Health Center still has several problems that often occur, including reports that are still manual, and SIMPUS is not yet integrated with P-Care. The objective of this study was to assess user satisfaction with SIMPUS at the Kemuningsarı Kıdul Community Health Center by examining information,  performance, economic factors, service quality efficiency, and control using the PIECES framework. Qualitative research methodology was employed in this study, utilizing data collection methods such as observation, interviews, brainstorming, and documentation. The research subjects were one filing officer, registration officer, head of administration, member of administration, Head of community health center and vendor. The resulted of the research obtained information based on the SIMPUS performance aspect have not been running according to user needs and do not have a good response time, the information aspect has not provided information according to user needs, the economic aspect has not been integrated with P-Care, the control aspect SIMPUS has a low level of security, the efficiency aspect of Learning and operating SIMPUS proved to be straightforward and uncomplicated, the service aspect of the information produced cannot be trusted and relied upon. An alternative solution was to update SIMPUS and replace the software and hardware in the medical record unit, and hold training for SIMPUS users for a minimum of 3 months at a time. Researchers provide present for implementing data encryption in SIMPUS at the Kemuningsari Kidul Community Medical Facility.

Abstract

Citra Husada Jember Hospital has been running telemedicine services. However, in its services, various problems were found, including the results of patient examinations that had not been written into the medical record but were only recorded manually in a special notebook for home care and telemedicine. In addition, the unitary system of telemedicine has not been implemented so that the integration of health services is not valid. This research is aimed at creating a telemedicine system with the framework of Laravel 9 development. The employed development methodology is Waterfall. With a point of view from the patients, receptionist, admin, doctors, nurses, and pharmacists. It is intended that the Telemedicine system will make it simpler for patients to communicate with doctors without having to physically see them. In order to speed up services in the medical record unit, this also makes it simpler for medical record officers to process data and report. A function for doctor consultations in the form of video conferences is the outcome of the growth of telemedicine and is readily available in web-based telemedicine at Citra Husada Hospital Jember which is users don't need to download an additional app in order to conduct video conferences, print medical records electronically, or conduct patient visits via telemedicine services.

Abstract

The duplication incident that occurred at the Mayang Jember Health Center was one medical record number owned by more than one different patient. Duplications found were 23 files with a percentage of 2.88% in January-March 2023. This research is to identify the factors that cause duplication of medical record numbers based on ability, motivation and opportunity variables. This type of research is qualitative with the research subjects being the person in charge of medical records, medical record officers and porters. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, documentation and prioritization of the causes of problems using scoring and improvement efforts by brainstorming. The results of the study found that the priority cause of problems using the scoring method is the unavailability of standard operating procedures on medical record numbering. An effort to improve the problem is to recommend Standard Operating Procedures on Medical Record Numbering and conducting socialization related to the clarity of Standard Operating Procedures that have been made.

Abstract

The delay in returning inpatient medical records at RSUD Kudungga in East Kutai Regency is 94.33%, well below the standard of 100% within 48 hours after patient discharge. This is mainly due to the inpatient admins’ untimely behavior in returning the records. This study aims to analyze the factors causing the delay in returning inpatient medical records at RSUD Kudungga. The qualitative research collected data through interviews, observations, documentation, and brainstorming. Data validity was tested using source and technique triangulation. The analysis revealed several causes for the delay. Predisposing factors include a lack of awareness among inpatient admins about timely returns. Enabling factors involve the absence of trolleys for transporting records, the significant distance between inpatient rooms and the records room, and inadequate training for admins. Reinforcing factors include a lack of motivation in the form of praise and punishment for staff, and the absence of evaluations of the SOP for returning records. Improvement efforts include routine evaluations of staff, provision of trolleys, admin training, motivation incentives, and monitoring and evaluating the SOP for returning inpatient medical records.
