Abstract

This article will focus on female identity and the codes imposed on the character of Caroline Compson in William Faulkner's novel "The Sound and the Fury." The complexity of her character is evident throughout the novel. The characters her children portray in the story reflect the authority Caroline Compson had over their upbringing. Faulkner creates an individual, a symbol of a specific philosophy about the world, specifically that of South America. Under the influence of cultural codes imposed by racial aggression and class superiority, she had to adapt to the rules of such a reality. Caroline initiates a utopian image for her life and, above all, a utopian image for the behavior of every woman based on the cultural codes of this society and religious myth. They imposed a utopia of motherhood. Physical purity is at the heart of her being, which is even emotional. Apart from love, neglect, and deadly tyranny, a woman's failure is hidden. Buried in her utopia, she abandons physical desire and attention to her husband and children. Through an empirical analysis of Caroline Compson, I will arrive at the point of evaluating her identity and the codes that disturb her children and her husband.

The development of digital technology has created significant social changes in the lives of young Muslim generations. Interactions formed through social media and digital religious figures have also shifted religious authority from what was previously formal. This study aims to examine how Islamic education can transform to answer the challenges of extremism in the digital era. This study uses a qualitative approach by utilizing data from various relevant literature sources. The analysis was carried out descriptively and qualitatively to reveal the relationship between digital social dynamics and students' ideological resilience. The results of the study indicate that there is an urgent need to update the curriculum, methods, and ecosystem of Islamic education to be more responsive to rapidly changing social realities. The role of teachers, families, communities, and policies that support moderate Islamic education are key elements in efforts to prevent radicalization. Abstract

This study explores the concept of halalan tayyiban as a holistic Islamic framework for healthy living, emphasizing its implications for physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Grounded in a descriptive qualitative methodology, the research draws upon religious texts (Qur'an, Hadith), fatwas, and public health policy documents to analyze how halal principles shape lifestyle practices among Muslims. The findings indicate that adherence to halal principles, such as the consumption of clean, safe, and permissible food and medicine, not only reduces the risk of non-communicable diseases but also fosters psychological peace and spiritual fulfillment. Comparative insights reveal that, unlike secular health paradigms or lifestyle diets (e.g., veganism), the halal framework integrates health with ethical and spiritual responsibilities. The study also addresses key challenges in implementing halal standards, including public awareness gaps, the complexity of halal supply chains, and ambiguities in multinational product labeling. The halal lifestyle offers a viable model for improving public health in Muslim-majority and minority settings by aligning with WHO's preventive health strategies. The research underscores the need for stronger collaboration between religious authorities, health institutions, and the global halal industry to ensure sustainable implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the consumption behavior of halal products among the Muslim millennial generation in Indonesia using a mixed-method approach. Quantitative data were obtained through an online survey of 60 respondents spread across five major cities, while qualitative data were collected through in-depth interviews with a number of selected respondents. Quantitative analysis revealed that awareness of halal, positive attitudes towards halal products, religiosity, and social influence play a significant role in shaping the intention to purchase halal products. Qualitative analysis enriches the findings by showing that halal consumption is not only a product choice, but also part of an individual's religious identity and moral responsibility. Interviews also identified practical obstacles such as limited access to verified halal products, unclear labels, and higher prices. The synergy of these two approaches confirms that halal consumption behavior is influenced by psychosocial factors and real challenges in the field. The results of the study provide strategic recommendations for business actors and policy makers to improve education and transparency of halal certification, as well as utilize social media as an effective communication channel to encourage wider halal consumption behavior among Muslim millennials.

Abstract

Government infrastructure development often faces various challenges in terms of implementation efficiency and budget management accountability. Projects involving many stakeholders usually experience coordination obstacles, slow reporting, and a lack of accountable documentation. Amidst the increasing complexity of projects and demands for public transparency, the use of information systems has become an unavoidable need. This study aims to examine how information system implementation strategies can improve the effectiveness of infrastructure project governance. The study was conducted with a qualitative approach and used data sources from previous research results. Data analysis was carried out thematically to describe the challenges and strategies for implementing information systems in government projects. The results of the study show that the success of implementation is greatly influenced by the adjustment of organizational workflows, human resource readiness, and managerial support. An integrated information system can accelerate reporting, increase performance visibility, and strengthen internal supervision. Therefore, the adoption of information systems needs to be accompanied by a comprehensive strategy in order to have a real impact on the efficiency and accountability of infrastructure projects.

Abstract

Structured and personalized career planning is a crucial need for Vocational High School students in the digital era, especially in preparing for the transition to higher education or the world of work. However, conventional career guidance services still face challenges in terms of reach, personalization, and effectiveness. This study aims to develop and implement a chatbot-based career journey system with a SMART-Method approach (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound) to improve the effectiveness of high school students' career planning. The study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) and a mixed methods approach. The chatbot was developed using the Telegram platform and is equipped with key features such as an interest and talent assessment, a SMART-based career goal planning guide, major and profession recommendations, and progress achievement reminders. Implementation was carried out on 120 11th-grade students at SMK Al-. Evaluation results showed that 87% of students felt helped in developing more specific and realistic career plans, while 91% stated that the chatbot provided an interactive experience that encouraged self-reflection on personal potential and interests. From the perspective of guidance and counseling teachers, the chatbot was deemed effective as a tool for systematically and documented monitoring of student progress. The SMART approach in the chatbot system helped students develop measurable and relevant goals, while providing a deadline for achievement that encouraged them to act proactively. These findings indicate that the integration of chatbot-based digital technology with structured pedagogical principles can improve the quality of career guidance services in schools. This study recommends further development in the form of digital portfolio integration, career literacy training for teachers and students, and cross-sector collaboration to strengthen an adaptive and sustainable career planning ecosystem in secondary education settings.
