The advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) has transformed the paradigm of higher education assessment, challenging the effectiveness of traditional examination methods such as essays and multiple-choice tests. AI technologies, like ChatGPT, enable students to generate high-quality responses rapidly, triggering an authenticity crisis in academic assessments. Research indicates that 56% of global students, including those in Indonesia, use AI for assignments or exams, with 54% considering it a form of cheating (BestColleges, 2023). This paper aims to analyze the weaknesses of traditional exams in the AI era and propose authentic evaluation approaches through a conceptual discussion based on the analysis of challenges and new strategies. Key findings include recommendations for project-based exams, assessments of learning processes, hands-on practical exams, and the integration of AI literacy and ethics into the curriculum. This transformation demands that lecturers serve as facilitators and authentic evaluators while developing curricula focused on competence, creativity, and soft skills. Consequently, higher education can produce graduates who are not only academically proficient but also critical, creative, and responsible in leveraging AI.

This paper examines the pivotal role of the engineer's independence and impartiality in the administration of construction contracts. Adopting a normative approach, the study analyzes the contractual provisions and legal principles governing the engineer's independence, as well as the application of this concept across different legal systems. The findings suggest that while the notion of the engineer as an independent and unbiased party is well-established in certain jurisdictions, particularly those utilizing FIDIC contracts, it is less familiar in civil law systems, where the contract administrator is often perceived as representing the employer's interests. The paper emphasizes the critical significance of preserving the engineer's independence to ensure fairness, transparency, and effective dispute resolution in the construction industry. Maintaining the engineer's independence is essential for upholding the integrity and fairness of the construction contract administration process, enabling objective decision-making without undue influence from the employer or other project stakeholders.

This article presents a systematic review of Bourdieu’s theory of cultural capital in relation to contemporary educational success. The study aims to synthesize and critically evaluate the existing body of literature that applies Bourdieu’s framework to educational sociology. A literature review method was employed, focusing on peer-reviewed articles published in leading journals across sociology and education. The analysis highlights how cultural capital, manifested through language proficiency, cultural practices, and family background, continues to shape academic achievement. Findings reveal that the reproduction of social inequalities within schools remains strongly influenced by differences in cultural resources among students. Moreover, the review identifies variations in the interpretation of cultural capital across diverse socio-cultural contexts, particularly in non-Western educational systems. Several studies emphasize the adaptability of Bourdieu’s framework in explaining new forms of educational stratification in the era of globalization. At the same time, critical scholarship challenges the deterministic aspects of Bourdieu’s theory and calls for a more dynamic understanding of cultural practices. This review underscores the importance of integrating cultural capital with broader structural and policy considerations to foster equitable education. The article concludes that while Bourdieu’s theory remains highly relevant, it requires contextual reinterpretation to address contemporary educational challenges.

This research is motivated by the persistent challenges in educational management within pesantren, which have not yet fully addressed the demands of modern educational quality standards. The study aims to analyze the implementation of management practices in improving the quality of education across traditional, hybrid, and modern pesantren in Bogor Regency. Employing a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. Sources of data included pesantren leaders, teachers, students (santri), and parents. The findings reveal that the typological differences among pesantren shape distinct patterns of management and educational quality: traditional pesantren emphasize spirituality, hybrid pesantren combine religious tradition with formal education, while modern pesantren adopt professional systems. The conclusion highlights that adaptive management practices significantly influence educational quality while simultaneously shaping the institutional identity of pesantren.

Consumer trust serves as a critical determinant of success for e-commerce platforms in the digital economy. This study aims to explore how digital marketing strategies and perceived data security contribute to the formation and enhancement of consumer trust. Using a structured literature review approach, relevant peer-reviewed journal articles were systematically identified and synthesized to extract thematic insights. The findings reveal that personalized marketing, transparency in communication, and influencer endorsements significantly impact trust-building. Additionally, consumers' perception of robust data protection mechanisms strongly influences their willingness to engage in online transactions. The interplay between marketing efforts and perceived security creates a comprehensive trust environment that fosters long-term customer relationships. The study also highlights the role of brand credibility, user experience design, and regulatory compliance in reinforcing consumer confidence. By integrating theoretical perspectives from trust theory and information systems, this review provides a nuanced understanding of trust formation in e-commerce. The results offer valuable implications for practitioners aiming to improve consumer engagement and loyalty. Future research is recommended to examine trust dynamics in emerging markets and under-represented consumer segments.

This study investigates the implementation of green accounting and its influence on corporate environmental responsibility disclosure among public companies in Indonesia through a comprehensive literature review. As environmental concerns continue to shape corporate governance globally, the adoption of green accounting practices has become increasingly relevant in emerging economies. This paper synthesizes previous research findings to evaluate how green accounting frameworks contribute to the transparency and accountability of environmental reporting. By analyzing scholarly articles, regulatory documents, and industry case studies published between 2010 and 2024, the study identifies key drivers, barriers, and patterns in environmental disclosure. It further explores how Indonesian public companies respond to environmental pressures and regulatory demands through green accounting mechanisms. The findings suggest that while regulatory frameworks support disclosure initiatives, practical implementation remains inconsistent due to limited awareness and resource constraints. Moreover, companies with proactive environmental strategies tend to disclose more comprehensive sustainability reports. This paper contributes to existing knowledge by contextualizing global green accounting practices within the Indonesian corporate landscape. The study also highlights the need for enhanced policy enforcement and capacity building to strengthen disclosure quality. Ultimately, the review underscores the strategic role of green accounting in promoting long-term environmental accountability in corporate reporting.

Banjarnegara Regency, as an agrarian region, is highly dependent on the sustainability of the Serayu Watershed ecosystem. However, land use changes in the upstream area have triggered environmental degradation in the form of erosion, sedimentation of the Mrica Reservoir, and a decline in water quality, all of which impact the community’s economic vulnerability. In response to these issues, PT PLN Indonesia Power UBP Mrica initiated the Serayu Network Program as a social innovation that integrates environmental conservation with the strengthening of the local economy. Through six stages of social innovation, the program was systematically developed with a sustainability orientation, implemented through integrated farming in the Kampung Ilmu Serayu Network as well as the empowerment of vulnerable groups through vocational training. The program’s outcomes demonstrate multidimensional impacts, including the restoration of the watershed's ecological functions, increased community income, business diversification, and innovations based on the circular economy. Therefore, the Serayu Network serves not only as a model of local empowerment but also as a representation of social innovation with the potential to be replicated in other watersheds in Indonesia as an effort to build sustainable socio-economic and ecological resilience.

The Wonogiri Regency area, as the upstream and primary buffer zone of the Bengawan Solo watershed, is highly dependent on the sustainability of the Waduk Gajah Mungkur ecosystem. However, challenges in the form of sedimentation rates, waste generation, and the declining productivity of the agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sectors have triggered environmental degradation while simultaneously increasing the socio-economic vulnerability of surrounding communities. To address these issues, PT PLN Indonesia Power PLTA Wonogiri initiated the Program Gajah Mungkur (Gerakan Ajak Pilah Sampah untuk Menjaga Lingkungan Konservasi dan Pertanian Subur) as a form of social innovation that integrates reservoir conservation with the strengthening of the local economy. This study employs a qualitative approach using the framework of six stages of social innovation (prompts, proposals, prototypes, sustaining, scaling, and systemic change) to analyze the dynamics of the program. The findings demonstrate that this social innovation program, focused in Pokoh Kidul Village and Wuryorejo Sub-District, has successfully empowered vulnerable groups gradually and inclusively through the strengthening of bank sampah institutions, the development of fish-based MSMEs, and integrated farming designed within a circular economy scheme. Furthermore, this initiative also supports food security through the Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) program and the Taman Asuh Sayang Anak (TAMASYA) program, thereby reinforcing the integration of environmental, economic, and social aspects of communities around the reservoir. The program outcomes indicate multidimensional impacts, including controlling the sedimentation rate, enhancing business diversification, increasing household income, and fostering collective community awareness in maintaining the ecological functions of the reservoir. With these achievements, the Program Gajah Mungkur can be regarded as a social innovation practice that bridges ecological and economic aspects while simultaneously opening opportunities for adaptive replication in other reservoir areas in Indonesia.

Waste management, especially organic waste, remains a significant challenge in the Greater Bandung area. This study aims to analyze the role of community-based waste management in reducing organic waste generation at the Sarimukti landfill and its impact on the lifespan of the Saguling Reservoir. The research method involved analyzing primary and secondary data, including the amount of organic waste generated, the quantity of chicken feed produced from maggot processing, chicken farmers' income, and electricity production at Saguling Reservoir. Primary data were obtained from surveys of 26 Waste Bank Units throughout Greater Bandung and PT PLN Indonesia Power UBP Saguling, which initiated the Saguling Berdaya program. The results showed that the program successfully managed community organic waste using the maggot bioconversion method from 2023 to July 2025, achieving a total of 887.03 tons, with an average of 28.61 tons/month converted into layer chicken feed. The production of 50 kg/day of fresh maggots was used to feed 1,200 laying hens, which produced 62 kg of eggs/day. In 2024, PT. PLN IP UBP Saguling successfully collected 660.48 tons of organic waste. This result contributed to reducing the organic waste load at the Sarimukti landfill by 0.09% of the total organic waste, which was 724,598 tons. This implementation had a significant economic impact, as farmers were able to save Rp122,148,000.00 per month in feed costs. From an environmental perspective, organic waste processing contributes to a reduction in sedimentation at the Saguling Reservoir by 0.11-0.50%. This reduction in sedimentation has a direct impact on extending the life of the reservoir and enhancing the efficiency of electricity production, resulting in economic benefits of IDR 115,027,450 in 2023, IDR 247,713,748 in 2024, and IDR 183,338,955 in 2025. Thus, community-based organic waste management through the Saguling Berdaya Program not only supports environmental sustainability but also strengthens food security and provides economic benefits for the surrounding community.
