Abstract

This study examines the contribution of the Tahfidz Al-Qur’an Program to Qur’an Hadith learning achievement at MTsN 10 Nganjuk. The research background is based on the importance of integrating Qur’anic memorization programs to improve students’ achievement, particularly in subjects directly related to Qur’anic content. This research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The population consisted of all 36 students of class VIII B, selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data for variable X were obtained from the Tahfidz Program questionnaire, while variable Y was taken from Qur’an Hadith report card scores. Data analysis included validity and reliability tests, descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, and simple linear regression using SPSS version 18. The results showed that the Tahfidz Program was in the moderate category (average score of 70 out of 80), while learning achievement was in the good category (average score of 83.17). Regression analysis revealed a positive and significant influence, with a significance value of 0.008 (< 0.05) and a coefficient of determination of 0.19. Thus, the Tahfidz Program contributed 19% to Qur’an Hadith learning achievement. This study confirms that the Tahfidz Program can be an effective strategy to improve academic achievement while fostering students’ religious character

Abstract

This study, entitled “The Concept of Educating Righteous Children from the Perspectives of Shaykh At-Tihami and Shaykh Nawawi al-Bantani: Relevance to Islamic Education in Indonesia”, aims to describe the scholars’ concepts of child education, the strategic role of parents, and the relevance of their ideas to current Islamic education in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach with a library research method, data were obtained from Qurratul ‘Uyun by Shaykh Muhammad At-Tihami and Uqud al-Lujain by Shaykh Nawawi al-Bantani, supported by relevant literature. Descriptive-comparative analysis identified similarities and differences in their perspectives. Shaykh At-Tihami emphasizes education before birth, including spouse selection and marital etiquette, while Shaykh Nawawi focuses on parental responsibility in instilling Islamic values and exemplary conduct. Both agree that family is the foundation of moral and spiritual education, and their ideas remain relevant to Indonesia’s Islamic education, which places the family as the primary environment for nurturing faith and character.

Abstract

The tahfidz Al-Qur'an program is one of the strategic efforts in shaping religious character while improving students' memorization skills in a formal education environment. SMP Bina Insan Mandiri Baron Nganjuk has systematically implemented the tahfidz program to grade VIII students, but its effectiveness on the achievement of memorization of the Qur'an still requires empirical study. This study aims to analyze the correlation between the implementation of the tahfidz program and students' Qur'an memorization achievement in the 2024/2025 school year. The method used is a quantitative approach with a correlational design. Data collection techniques include observation, documentation, and distribution of questionnaires to students and tahfidz supervisors. Data analysis was carried out using the Pearson Product Moment statistical test, which resulted in a correlation coefficient of 0.306. These results show a relationship between the tahfidz program and student memorization achievement, even though it is in the weak category. These findings indicate the need to evaluate and optimize the implementation strategy of the tahfidz program so that its contribution to improving the achievement of memorizing the Qur'an can be maximized.

Abstract

This article presents a systematic literature review to analyze strategies for strengthening the brand image of elementary education institutions in the digital era. The research background is rooted in the increasingly intense competition among institutions and the shifting behavior of parents as more critical consumers of education. This study aims to consolidate findings from various empirical studies to formulate a synthesis of effective strategies. The method used is a systematic literature review with the PRISMA protocol, in which ten journal articles indexed in SINTA 3 to 6 are analyzed thematically. The synthesis results reveal four main, interrelated strategic clusters: first, an integrated digital communication strategy through websites and social media as awareness amplifiers; second, a strategy based on direct experience and community, positioning parents and alumni as core brand ambassadors; third, a differentiation strategy through achievements and flagship programs as competitive differentiators; and fourth, a proactive reputation management strategy to maintain trust. The research conclusion affirms that sustainable brand image building requires a hybrid approach that authentically integrates digital narratives with substantive performance in the field, where the school community acts as an active co-creator. In practical terms, school administrators need to design integrated communication plans and institutionalize stakeholder engagement. This study recommends further research in the context of public schools and rural areas, as well as longitudinal studies to measure the impact of branding strategies on educational outcomes
