<![CDATA[The purpose of this research is to ascertain the significance of the Kombuik Dance Movement in Gunung Sahilan Village, Kampar Kiri Regency's Gunung Sahilan District. The study comes to the conclusion that each of the nine movement kinds has a distinct significance. In addition to the message conveyed by this movement, the dance's main goal is to express gratitude to Allah SWT, who has provided the local community with an abundance of sustenance through the rice harvest. <![CDATA[Di antara banyaknya syair yang digunakan dalam Tari Dolalak, syair "Atas Pisang" memiliki posisi yang cukup unik. Syair ini sering dilantunkan pada akhir pertunjukan, menandakan penutup yang khidmat dan penuh pesan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji simbolisme dan makna dalam syair ‘Atas Pisang’ pada Tari Dolalak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif interpretatif dengan pendekatan semiotika Roland Barthes mengenai makna denotasi dan konotasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa syair ‘Atas Pisang’ pada tari Dolalak, melalui simbolisme dan metaforanya, menyampaikan berbagai nasihat hidup yang relevan dan bijaksana. Keseimbangan antara hasil yang terlihat dan esensi yang mendasari, harapan dan pemulihan dari kesulitan, pentingnya tindakan dalam mengejar keinginan, penghargaan terhadap masa lalu dan pengalaman, serta kebijaksanaan dalam hubungan keluarga adalah pesan-pesan utama yang diungkapkan. Syair ‘Atas Pisang’ mengajarkan bahwa hidup yang seimbang, penuh harapan, aktif, menghargai masa lalu, dan bijaksana dalam hubungan keluarga adalah kunci untuk mencapai kehidupan yang harmonis dan bermakna.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to determine and describe the role of the Sighe Setangkai Art Studio in the development of dance arts in the Empat Lawang area, especially traditional dance and creative dance in Empat Lawang Regency. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, while data collection is carried out using observation, interviews and documentation techniques. Data analysis in writing research results consists of three stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Checking the validity of the data using source triangulation techniques. The results of the research show that Sanggar Sighe Setangkai has a role in the development of dance in Empat Lawang Regency. The role of the Sighe Setangkai Studio in the development of dance in Empat Lawang Regency is carried out through studio activities related to dance production, training and performance activities. The role of Sanggar Sighe Setangkai in qualitative dance development can be seen from dance production activities. The role of Sanggar Sighe Setangkai in quantitative dance development can be seen from training activities and dance performances.]]>

<![CDATA[A sports center is a place that accommodates various types of sports activities that can increase a person's physical, mental and social potential in certain fields in a region. The aim of this research is to design a suitable sports center by creating a friendly and inclusive environment for all users and minimizing accessibility barriers. Designing a sports center can be a forum for all users by paying attention to several factors and supporting architectural elements by applying Universal Design principles. The research method used is a qualitative method through ideas by collecting data which includes literature studies and case studies of typologies or similar themes, then followed by analysis as a design guide. The results of the study of the application of the universal design concept to the design of sports centers by applying the principles of universal design, namely the existence of special paths for disabled users, ramps that will be used as a means of vertical connection between floors, providing accessible places for wheelchair users, making signs and clear information so that visitors can access it more easily, creating open circulation that is safe and comfortable for visitors.]]>

<![CDATA[The Creative Industry in Indonesia has experienced significant growth. However, it faces challenges such as low quality of human resources and inadequate facility accessibilityThe Creative Industry in Indonesia has experienced significant growth. However, the challenges lie in the low quality of human resources and inadequate accessibility to facilities. One solution is to provide creative hub facilities as centers for collaboration, innovation, and the development of the creative industry business. This research aims to analyze the aspects of creative hub in enhancing creativity and the development of the creative industry business in Kabupaten Asahan. The method used in this research is a mixed-method approach, combining qualitative and quantitative methods, involving a comparative study of buildings with similar functions and a survey using questionnaires with 30 respondents, particularly those who have used creative hubs and the general population of Kabupaten Asahan. The results show that creative hub facilities in Kabupaten Asahan play a crucial role in enhancing creativity and the development of the creative industry business. Users tend to prefer facilities that support collaboration and innovation, as well as those that provide comfort such as prayer rooms and green open spaces. This emphasizes the potential of creative hubs as centers for developing creative potential and the creative industry business in the Kabupaten Asahan area.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to find out how social criticism is in the script of the drama DOR by Putu Wilayah. The object used in this study is a series of events in the script of the drama DOR by Putu Wijaya which contains social criticism. This manuscript was published by Balai Pustaka in 1985. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive method. The data collection technique is to read and understand the script of the drama DOR by Putu Wijaya, mark the speeches of the characters and narrators in the script of the drama DOR by Putu Wijaya, then record the findings on the record sheet, and inventory the characters contained in the script of the drama DOR by Putu Wijaya in a table format. The data analysis technique is to classify data on social criticism contained in the script of the drama DOR by Putu Wijaya through the speech of the characters, the actions of the characters and the narrator's exposure, interpret the data on social criticism in the script of the drama DOR by Putu Wijaya and draw conclusions and report the results of data analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the forms of social criticism in the DOR drama script by Putu Wijaya include, among others, (1) Social criticism of norm violations, (2) Social criticism of family disorganization, (3) Social criticism of crime handling, (4) Social criticism of poverty.]]>

<![CDATA[This researcher aims to find out whether there is effectiveness in implementing the peer tutoring method on choir learning outcomes in class X at SMA Negeri 2 OKU. The research method used in this research is Pre Experimental Design, namely the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design form. In this research, researchers used the Random Sampling technique, namely a random sampling technique. So the sample in this study was the choir extracurricular class, totaling 18 male students and 12 female students. The data collection technique uses tests in the form of practical tests and data analysis uses the t-test. The results obtained an average post-test score of 82 and pre-test score of 69.5. The scores obtained by the post-test scores are better than the pre-test scores. This is because treatment using the peer tutoring method is indeed effective in learning outcomes for choirs by singing the song Indonesia Raya. Then, based on normality testing, normal distribution data is obtained, then analyze the final test data as described previously. It is known that the t test hypothesis tcount ˃ ttable with tcount˃ = 10.68 and ttable = 1.69. So H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted or tcount ˃ ttable = 10.68 ˃ 1.69. Thus, it can be concluded that there is the effectiveness of the peer tutoring method on choir learning outcomes for extracurricular students at SMA N 2 OKU.]]>

<![CDATA[In accordance with the phenomena in the field, the background to this thesis is the Kuda Lumping art which has developed in the Sumatra region, specifically the transmigration region, because the majority of people there are people from the Java region. The Kuda Lumping dance originates from East Java and is inspired by the story of the Kediri Kingdom. The Kuda Lumping dance art has one characteristic property, namely that in the dance it uses props made of woven bamboo. This writing uses qualitative methods. The data collection process in this writing uses observation, interviews, documentation methods. Based on the results of research that has been carried out using qualitative methods, it is descriptive about Kuda Lumping art, make-up and clothing for Kuda Lumping, and Kuda Lumping music.]]>

<![CDATA[. In the modern era, cafés have become a popular place for students and the public to socialise and work. The importance of unique and comfortable interior design drives intense competition in this industry. This study focuses on the interior re-design of ‘Aicon Coffee and Donuts’ café in Padang, which faced spatial, comfort and aesthetic issues. The 4D method (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) was used for design analysis and development, with primary and secondary data. Results show the importance of a minimalist modern concept that emphasises simplicity, functionality and aesthetics. This design creates a comfortable and attractive space for visitors with the use of colours, quality materials, and efficient spatial arrangement. The re-design is expected to increase the attractiveness of the cafe and provide a better experience for visitors.]]>
