Abstract

This research aims to identify students' tendencies in using American or British English accents when pronouncing English vocabulary. The subjects were eighth-grade students from a junior high school in Pematangsiantar. Data were collected through pronunciation tests and analyzed using phonetic transcription (IPA) to determine the type of accent used. Results showed that 73% of the tested words were pronounced with American English patterns, while 27% followed British English characteristics. Factors such as media exposure, teacher influence, and students’ perception of accents contributed to this trend. The study suggests the importance of teaching approaches that explicitly introduce accent variations in English language learning

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tradisi sedekah receh yang dilakukan oleh peziarah makam KH. Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur) di Tebuireng, Jombang, sebagai perwujudan ajaran Islam yang berpadu dengan tradisi lokal. Fenomena ini tidak sekadar dipandang sebagai amal sosial, melainkan juga simbol penghormatan dan sarana memperkuat spiritualitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami sejauh mana kesadaran peziarah terhadap hadis-hadis Nabi tentang sedekah, termasuk hadis riwayat Bukhari dan Muslim yang menyebutkan bahwa “Allah menerima sedekah meskipun hanya sebesar sebutir kurma dari harta yang baik, lalu Allah mengambilnya dengan tangan kanan-Nya”. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. Data diperoleh melalui observasi langsung di area makam, wawancara mendalam dengan peziarah dan pengelola makam, serta kajian literatur terkait hadis-hadis sedekah. Analisis data difokuskan pada pengungkapan makna dan motivasi di balik praktik sedekah receh tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik sedekah receh di makam Gus Dur berakar pada keyakinan akan keberkahan sedekah yang ikhlas, sesuai dengan hadis Nabi bahwa amal yang sedikit tetapi dari sumber yang baik akan diterima dan dilipatgandakan pahalanya oleh Allah. Para peziarah memaknai pemberian uang receh sebagai sarana memperoleh berkah, menolak bala, dan meraih pahala sedekah jariyah. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang bagaimana sedekah uang receh dapat berfungsi sebagai media untuk memperkuat tali persaudaraan antar sesame manusia, serta menyoroti pentingnya konsep living hadits dalam mengaplikasikan ajaran Islam dalam konteks modern. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat mendorong lebih banyak penelitian tentang praktik amal dalam berbagai konteks yang ada.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model on students' mathematical critical thinking skills at Cinta Rakyat 3 Private Junior High School, Pematangsiantar. This study uses a quantitative approach. The method used by the researcher is an experimental method. This research method was chosen to see how much influence the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning mode has on students' mathematical critical thinking skills on the material of curved cylinder side solids at Cinta Rakyat 3 Private Junior High School, Pematangsiantar. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence of the use of the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning mode on students' mathematical critical thinking skills on the material of curved cylinder side solids, grade IX of Cinta Rakyat 3 Private Junior High School, Pematangsiantar. This influence is shown through the regression equation Y = 22.457 + 0.743X with b = 0.743. By using the t-test, namely t_calculated > t_table = (10,364 > 3,583) it shows that the significance and by using the coefficient of determination it can be seen that the influence is 79.3%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the think pair share learning model on the mathematical critical thinking skills of class VIII at UPTD SMP Negeri 7 Pematangsiantar. The sample in this study was class VIII-4, totaling 30 students. The research data was obtained from questionnaires and tests. The questionnaire serves to determine whether students have implemented the think pair share learning model. The test serves to determine students' mathematical critical thinking skills on the material of the system of linear equations in two variables (SPLDV). The test consisted of 5 questions and a questionnaire of 30 items, after going through validity and reliability tests, was declared valid and reliable. The design used in this study was a one-shot case study. The data analysis technique used prerequisite tests, namely the normality test and the linearity test. To test whether the think pair share learning model affects mathematical critical thinking skills, a simple linear regression test was used. Based on the research data, the regression equation Y = 29.354 + 0.828X was obtained. The significance test of the influence was obtained and tcount > ttable (9.642 > 2.048) or p (sig.) < 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05) so that there is a significant influence between the think pair share learning model on the mathematical critical thinking ability of class VIII students at UPTD SMP Negeri 7 Pematangsiantar in the 2025/2026 academic year. The variance contribution of variable X (think pair share learning model) to variable Y (mathematical critical thinking ability) is 76.9%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether audio-visual learning media influences the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in Pancasila Education at State Elementary School 091254 Batu Onom. This research is quantitative. The sample used in this study was a population of 24 fourth-grade students. Data collection techniques included a pretest (before treatment) and a posttest (after treatment), as well as documentation. Data analysis techniques used the N-Gain test and hypothesis testing. The researchers then conducted an N-Gain test, with an average N-Gain score of 0.63, where 0.3 ≤ g ≤ 0.7 indicates that the learning outcomes were categorized as quite effective. The researchers then conducted a hypothesis test, which yielded a calculated tcount of 20.528 and a ttable value of 1.714 at a 5% significance level. Because tcount > ttable, H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, indicating a significant influence of the use of Audio-Visual Media on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in SD Negeri 091254 Batu Onom.

Abstract

Penyimpanan obat merupakan salah satu aspek krusial dalam pelayanan kefarmasian karena berpengaruh langsung terhadap mutu, keamanan, dan efektivitas sediaan farmasi. Berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Republik Indonesia Nomor 73 Tahun 2016 tentang Standar Pelayanan Kefarmasian di Apotek, penyimpanan obat harus dilakukan sesuai ketentuan untuk mencegah kerusakan fisik dan kimia, kehilangan, serta penurunan kualitas obat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kesesuaian sistem penyimpanan obat di apotek berdasarkan Standar Pelayanan Kefarmasian di wilayah Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain observasional deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data diperoleh melalui pengumpulan dan analisis terhadap penerapan sistem penyimpanan obat pada apotek yang menjadi objek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar apotek telah menerapkan sistem penyimpanan obat sesuai dengan standar yang ditetapkan, yaitu sebesar 87,9%, sedangkan 12,1% apotek belum memenuhi standar penyimpanan obat. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa secara umum penerapan standar penyimpanan obat di apotek wilayah Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta tergolong baik, namun masih diperlukan upaya pembinaan dan pengawasan berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan apotek terhadap standar pelayanan kefarmasian secara menyeluruh

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT) Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas IV Pada Mata Pelajaran IPAS SD Negeri 091281 Batu IV. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar IPAS siswa yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya minat, partisipasi yang rendah, dan model pembelajaran yang masih bersifat konvensional. Model Teams Games Tournament dipilih karena mampu mendorong siswa untuk berani tampil kedepan, meningkatkan penguasaan materi, dan meningkatkan kepercayaan diri. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen desain One Group Pretest-Posttest, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 23 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji Normalitas dan uji Ngain. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat dilihat terdapat peningkatan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar IPAS siswa dari 56,8 menjadi 90,4. Serta hasil dari uji Ngain dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hasil perbandingan pretest dan post-test memiliki nilai Ngain score(0,72). Selain itu, diperoleh nilai Ngain_persen (72,17).Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 091281 Batu IV

Abstract

The research problem addressed in this study is: (1) What is the effect of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model and the use of the interactive Kahoot application on students' learning outcomes in Civic Education for Grade XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar in the 2025/2026 academic year?The objective of this study is: (1) To determine the effect of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model and the use of the interactive Kahoot application on students' learning outcomes in Civic Education for Grade XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar in the 2025/2026 academic year.This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest design. The population consists of all Grade XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar, totaling 358 students. The sample consists of two classes: class XI-2 and XI-6, each with 36 students, resulting in a total sample of 72 students. The research instrument used is a multiple-choice test.The posttest results in the control class show a minimum score of 50, a maximum score of 75, and an average score of 63.33. In the experimental class, the minimum posttest score is 65, the maximum is 90, and the average score is 80.83. The comparison of learning outcome categories shows that the experimental class has a higher frequency of better scores, with an average of 80.83, minimum 65, and maximum 90.The t-test results indicate that the calculated t-value (t_count) is 8.490, while the critical t-value (t_table) is 0.329, with a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05.Based on hypothesis testing using a significance test (t-test), the null hypothesis (H₀) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Hₐ) is accepted. Therefore, the following conclusions are drawn:There is an effect of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model on students' learning outcomes in Civic Education.There is an effect of the use of the Kahoot interactive application on students' learning outcomes in Civic Education.There is a combined effect of the NHT learning model and the Kahoot application on students' learning outcomes in Civic Education for Grade XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar in the 2025/2026 academic year

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Picture And Picture learning model on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at UPTD SD Negeri 122353 Pematangsiantar. The research sample consisted of 24 students who were given 25 test items as research instruments, which were then tested for validity, reliability, discrimination index, and difficulty level. The test results showed that 20 items were valid with a reliability of 0.913, and most items had a moderate difficulty level with good to very good discrimination power. The study involved administering a Pre-Test, teaching material using the Picture And Picture model, followed by a Post-Test. The average Pre-Test score was 49.17 and increased to 83.13 in the Post-Test. Normality testing showed a normal distribution (sig = 0.16), and the t-test confirmed a significant effect of the learning model on student learning outcomes with a significance value of 0.000 and t-count (20.305) > t-table (7.634). Thus, the Picture And Picture learning model effectively improves the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at UPTD SD Negeri 122353 Pematangsiantar

Abstract

The objective of this investigation is to ascertain the efficacy of incorporating the game of rounders in the enhancement of the cooperation abilities of elementary school students. The research method employed was a One-Group Pretest–Posttest Design, with 22 students selected through purposive sampling. Instruments utilised included observation diaries for students' collaborative behaviour during the learning process and a collaboration questionnaire. Reliability testing, normality testing, Paired Sample T-Tests, and normalised Gain (N-Gain) calculations were implemented to conduct data analysis. The results indicated a substantial improvement in the cooperation abilities of students following the implementation of an intervention that involved learning through rounders. The Paired Sample T-Test produced a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), which suggests a substantial disparity between the pretest and posttest scores. An average increase of 56.29% was observed in the N-Gain analysis, which is regarded as moderate. Additionally, the pre- and post-intervention phases exhibited a substantial difference (p = 0.042), which supports the notion that the enhancement in cooperation is evident in both the assessment and the actual behaviour on the field. Consequently, the implementation of baseball can be regarded as effective in enhancing the cooperation abilities of students. These results suggest that baseball should be employed as a physical education learning strategy that prioritises the development of students' social values and character, in addition to their motor skills, in accordance with the requirements of a contemporary curriculum
