Jurnal Bimbingan dan Konseling Islam (ISSN 2088-9992; E-ISSN2549-8738) accredited Sinta 5 Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, is an academic journal that emphasizes on actual issues related to Islamic guidance and counseling. Journal of Counseling Religi Journal of Islamic Counseling Guidance is published twice a year (once every six months, issued in June and December) by the Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling Islam Fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi Islam Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Sunan Ampel Surabaya is valid since the first Journal of Vol.1, No 1, June 2011. Abstract

Each individual has a unique verbal and visual interaction that can be referred to as ekphrasis. Ekphrasis is a picture of the self that results from the process of self-expression as evidenced by the use of words. The process of cognition and emotional activity of a person like this can be used as an alternative in expressing emotions through writing. A development concept based on metatheory and dialectical studies in therapeutic interventions, between Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT). This strategy seeks to strike a balance between self-acceptance and a change strategy. This conception has led to an Ekphrasis Tulisan Emosi (ETE) technique that refers to an alternative in regulating emotions, namely; suppression and cognitive reappraisal. Suppression is a management strategy by storing or holding expressions of emotions. Reappraisal cognitive is the use of the mind to replace certain emotions. Internal processes that occur in a person will be easily expressed by linking emotional regulation skills with writing activities.

Abstract

The general objective in the implementation plan of community service is to socialize a way or method to develop students' self-efficacy in career decision making in Purwakarta. The type of outcomes generated from this training is to increase teacher competency in developing self-efficacy of student career decisions. Based on the interview results it was found that many teachers did not understand how to provide assistance to students in the career field, so that it was more burdened / directed to the guidance and counseling teacher in the school. However, because of the very far ratio between teacher guidance and counseling with students, so many students do not get career guidance services that impact on career decision-making of students who are made carelessly and part of it (conformity in career).

Abstract

Era disrupsi adalah era revolusi industri 4.0 yang ditandai perubahan fundamental dalam kehidupan yang lebih efisien dan bermanfaat di masyarakat, sebagai dampak dari inovasi teknologi digital melalui penguasaan dan pemanfaatan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup. Dampak di era disrupsi saat ini adalah interaksi antar manusia cenderung menggunakan media sosial teknologi digital, dan memperkecil interaksi tatap muka. Seiring dengan hal itu, berbagai permasalahan manusia muncul di permukaan, seorang suami yang menceraikan suaminya melalui pesan whatsapp, seorang suami atau istri yang kecanduan game online yang pada akhirnya melakukan perselingkungan secara virtual, anak-anak yang sibuk dengan gawainya dan kecanduan game, dan masih banyak lagi. Bahkan semakin banyak profesi atau pekerjaan yang tergantikan oleh robot atau artificial intellegence. Namun bagi tata laksana bimbingan konseling, era cyber ini bukanlah momok, melainkan sebagai suatu tantangan yang harus dihadapi dengan suatu tindakan nyata. Dalam hal ini aspek rasa, empati dan kepekaan sosial yang dilakukan dalam bimbingan konseling oleh seorang konselor, masih belum bisa tergantikan oleh peran artificial intellegence. Utamanya lagi tata laksana bimbingan konseling dengan menggunakan pendekatan spiritual, memungkinkan untuk menjawab tantangan revolusi industri 4.0 untuk menangani permasalahan manusia seperti tersebut di atas.

Abstract

The biggest challenge in the current global era is internalizing the values of honesty, tawadhu values and ta'awun values for children as the essence of the development of spiritual intelligence. This condition is reinforced by the emergence of behavioral phenomena of children who like to lie, fight and commit acts of violence against parents, teachers or other people. This certainly contradicts the values contained in the essence of spiritual intelligence that every child should have. So from that it takes the right effort in overcoming this. The purpose of this study is to find out the efforts that can be used in developing children's spiritual intelligence contained in the concept of ecological counseling. The study method used is the study of literature. The results of the study carried out stated that there were several efforts that could be used in developing children's spiritual intelligence, namely the development of children's spiritual intelligence in the microsystem environment, the first and most important environment in a child's development, including the development of spiritual intelligence

Abstract

Seiring berjalannya waktu berbagai persoalan yang dihadapi para Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling di sekolah semakin komplek, tidak surut tapi malah bertambah banyak. Berkenaan dengan kenakalan siswa (peserta didik) di sekolah mulai dari bulliying antara siswa hingga penganiyaan Guru oleh siswa (agresif peserta didik). Konselor (Guru BK) sebagai salah satu Profesi yang dapat memberikan bantuan kepada individu yang menghadapi masalah untuk kembali kepada nilai-nilai berkarakter dan akhlakul karimah (fitrah), mengentaskan masalah yang dihadapi siswanya. Bimbingan dan konseling hadir untuk menghadapi berbagai masalah yang dialami siswa, dengan berbagai bentuk peningkatan pelayanan, teknik maupun strategi, yang dapat memberikan solusi pada masalah peserta didik menuju sikap kompetitif dan sesuai kebutuhan masyarakat.

Abstract

Each Santri who enters the boarding school has a different background both from the regional origin, language and economy. So that this difference often creates problems when they have to adjust to the new environment and new people as well. For this reason, the Islamic Boarding School of the Roudlatul Qur'an Metro made efforts to shape the Islamic personality of the santri using group guidance aimed at shaping the Islamic personality of the santri in accordance with Islamic teachings. This research includes field research with a qualitative approach and is descriptive in nature. Data sources in this study were 3 religious teachers and 5 religious students. Data collection methods were carried out using observation, interviews, and documentation methods. The data analysis technique uses interactive data analysis. The results of the research activities group guidance services carried out 3 times a week with the stages of the group namely the stage of formation, the transition phase and the stage of implementation of activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of Strength based group counseling to increase academic hardiness of students. The research method is an experiment using the design of one group pre-test and post-test by involving 7 students of SMAN 5 Kota Semarang who had low academic hardiness. The data collection used was academic hardiness scale. The results of this research indicate the students' academic hardiness before being given Strength based group counseling, average academic hardiness of 32,71 (SD = 1.380), then increased after Strength based group counseling was 51,29 (SD =1.799). Paired sample t-test results showed that Strength based group counseling was effective to increase academic hardiness of senior high school students (t =-19,598 p < 0.01). This research confirms that Strength based group counseling can be applied to increase academic hardiness of students and asserts that Strength based group counseling has an implication toward the optimization of counselors’ roles and professionalism in the utilization of Strength based group counseling for the development of positive behaviors.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to produce a guidance and counseling service program to improve effective learning behavior at SMAN 4 Bandung. This research is a research & development research. Participants in this study were guidance and counseling teachers at SMAN 4 Bandung, and 1 class X learning group 3. Natural data collection techniques used were Questionnaire, interview, observation and documentation. The questionnaire used in the setting of this study was a developmental task instrument (ITP), and a student problem needs instrument (IKMS), while the analysis technique used was data triangulation. The incoming data will be compared for cross-checking related to its validity. A guidance and counseling service program to improve effective learning behavior is divided into four stages. First is observation activities, second is assessment activities, third is program planning, fourth is program implementation activities, and the last is program evaluation. The result achieved was the formation of a guidance and counseling service program to improve effective learning behavior that was approved to be implemented at SMAN 4 Bandung. The validation related to the program by the expert (judgment expert) has been feasible to be implemented with several revisions according to the suggestion, overall it can be categorized well.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of rational emotive behavioral counseling in improving 3 aspects of resilience, namely aspects of I have, I am, and I can in patients after cancer surgery at Al-Ihsan Regional Hospital. The study was conducted at the Al-Ihsan Regional General Hospital with a subject of 21 post-cancer surgery patients using a random sampling technique. The study uses a quantitative approach with the method of equivalent control group design and data analysis using statistical analysis of percentages and One way ANOVA. This study uses 3 types of resilience instruments (I have, I am, and I can) using a Likert scale. The results showed rational emotive behavioral counseling interventions tested effective for increasing patient resilience

Abstract

The task of education provides a disciplined learning process for individuals. The issue of discipline is like a frightening specter for education providers and students. This study aims to formulate indigenous counseling od piil pesenggiri value based. Especially, the study aims to analyze the significance in piil pesenggiri to create the student's discipline. Piil pesenggiri has four aspects in managing people life: nemui nyimah, nengah nyappur, sakai sabaiyan, and bejuluk adek. By understanding those, people learn to live in that rule and norm, so the counsellor can accompany counselee to face the problem of disciplines
