Abstract

The development of human resource (HR) competencies is a key factor in supporting digital transformation within government institutions, including the Secretariat of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) of South Lampung Regency. This study aims to analyze strategies for developing HR competencies in facing the era of digitalization and to identify supporting and inhibiting factors. The research uses a qualitative approach with participatory observation methods supported by interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis is conducted using the Miles and Huberman model and reinforced with SWOT analysis. The results indicate that HR competency development is not yet optimal due to limited resources, low digital literacy, resistance to change, and infrastructure constraints. The strategies developed emphasize strengthening the digital competencies of staff, improving institutional frameworks, and enhancing technological support and an adaptive work culture.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the feasibility of CV Kebun Sari's nursery business. The advantage of this business lies in the diversification of six cultivated commodities, so the risk of loss is smaller compared to other nurseries that only rely on one commodity. The feasibility analysis was carried out using the Net Present Value (NPV), Benefit Cost Ratio (B/C), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Payback Period (PP) methods. The NPV value remains positive at Rp4,857,854,973 at a bank interest rate of 10% to a discount of 51%, so the project is quite strong against the risk of increasing capital costs. In addition, the B/C Ratio value is greater than 1, namely 1.440, indicating that every Rp1 of capital produces Rp1,440 of net profit, the IRR of 51.558% is higher than the Discount Factor level of 10%, indicating very good investment returns and the Payback Period of only 4 years 6 months 7 days is much faster than the initial estimate of 5 years, reducing capital risk and accelerating investment returns. The results of the study show that CV Kebun Sari's nursery business is considered very feasible and has minimal financial risk, so this business has good prospects to be maintained and developed in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) on employee performance, with work overload as a mediating variable at PT Tuntun Sekuritas Indonesia. The study adopts a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to employees of PT Tuntun Sekuritas Indonesia and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the assistance of AMOS software. The results of the analysis indicate that Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. However, based on the Sobel test results, work overload is not proven to mediate the relationship between OCB and employee performance. This finding suggests that the influence of OCB on employee performance occurs directly rather than through an increased workload mechanism. The results imply that employees’ extra-role behaviors play an important role in enhancing performance in securities companies. Nevertheless, organizations still need to manage workloads proportionally to ensure that OCB does not lead to long-term work fatigue. This study is expected to contribute theoretically to the development of organizational behavior literature and practically to serve as a consideration for management in human resource management.

Abstract

Human resources play a strategic role in the hospitality industry because service quality is largely determined by employee performance. Three-star hotels in Bandar Lampung face intense competition, fluctuations in occupancy rates, and high service demands, making it important to improve employee performance. One factor that influences employee performance is work motivation, but high motivation does not necessarily result in optimal performance without the support of job satisfaction. Therefore, job satisfaction is seen as a variable that mediates the influence of work motivation on employee performance. This study uses a quantitative approach with purposive sampling techniques for employees of 3-star hotels in Bandar Lampung. Data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 114 respondents who met the research criteria. The data obtained was then analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS)-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results of this study indicate that it supports the proposed hypothesis, namely that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at 3-star hotels in Bandar Lampung. Furthermore, job satisfaction was found to mediate the relationship between work motivation and employee performance at 3-star hotels in Bandar Lampung. These findings imply that hotel management needs to improve working conditions, increase job satisfaction through fair systems, and strengthen training and interpersonal skills in order to encourage optimal employee performance.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the increasing competition in the social commerce industry and the shift in consumer behavior that emphasizes experiential aspects in online shopping. TikTok Shop, as one of the rapidly growing social media–based e commerce platforms in Indonesia, faces challenges in maintaining user trust and loyalty amid intense market competition. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of Brand experience on Brand loyalty with Brand trust as a mediating variable. This research employs a quantitative approach using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) analysis technique with SmartPLS 4.0 software. Data were collected from 202 active TikTok Shop users selected through a purposive sampling technique. The results indicate that Brand experience has a positive and significant effect on both Brand trust and Brand loyalty. Brand trust also has a positive and significant effect on Brand loyalty and partially mediates the relationship between Brand experience and Brand loyalty. These findings demonstrate that positive experiences perceived by TikTok Shop users can enhance their trust in the platform, ultimately strengthening their loyalty. Therefore, TikTok Shop is advised to continuously improve the quality of user experience through sensory, affective, intellectual, and behavioral aspects to reinforce trust and build long-term customer loyalty.
