Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is a communicable disease that must be taken seriously because this disease can have implications on the psychological, economic, and social well-being of people with TB, which can affect their quality of life. Apart from that, phenomena in society show that there is still high TB stigma in society which can reduce the quality of life of people with TB. This study aims to determine the relationship between stigma and the quality of life among head of families who are undergoing TB treatment. This research is a cross-sectional study that was carried out on 85 heads of families who were undergoing TB treatment in Magelang Regency, Indonesia. This research was specifically carried out on a population among heads of families who were undergoing TB treatment with the consideration that the status as head of the family might cause a higher economic burden than for people with TB who do not have the status as head of the family. Data collection from respondents was carried out using a quality-of-life measurement questionnaire in the form of a 4-point Likert scale and Van Rie TB Stigma Scale for stigma measuring instruments. The results of the analysis using Kendall's Tau-b correlation showed P value=0.001 (P value<0.05) and r= -0.337, which means there is a negative relationship between stigma and quality of life. The higher the stigma, the lower the quality of life, conversely, the lower the stigma, the higher the quality of life among heads of families undergoing Tuberculosis treatment in Magelang Regency.

Abstract

The government has issued Law Number 1 of 2022 concerning Financial Relations between the Central Government and Regional Governments (HKPD), the aim of which is to strengthen local taxing power and improve the quality of regional spending to make it more efficient, productive, and accountable. One of the policies related to regional taxation regulated in the HKPD Law is the existence of an additional tax collection policy. However, this policy has an impact on district governments, provincial governments, and taxpayers because of the increase in PKB payments and PKB additional tax collection. The aim of this research is to discuss the impact of regional tax option policies on regional governments and taxpayers. The method used is normative legal research. Data sources consist of primary legal materials, secondary legal materials, and tertiary legal materials. In this research, the data is analyzed qualitatively and then presented descriptively to obtain comprehensive conclusions. The research results show that the existence of additional tax collection PKB and BBNKB has a positive impact on Regency/City Governments, while provincial governments can have an impact on income decreasing, remaining constant, and even increasing. Meanwhile, for taxpayers, there is a tendency for the burden to increase or there is an increase in PKB and BBNKB payments, but it could also be the same compared to the previous year. This depends on the amount of the PKB tariff set by the provincial government in the PDRD Regional Regulation.

Abstract

Acute lung tissue infection caused by various microorganisms, including fungi, viruses, and bacteria, is known as pneumonia. Pneumonia is the highest cause of child death worldwide. In Indonesia, pneumonia remains the leading cause of death among toddler (12-59 months old). By 2021, the national coverage of pneumonias among toddler was 34.8%, and the provinces with the highest coverage for toddler pneumonia were DKI Jakarta (53.0%), Banten (46.0%), and West Papua (45,7%). To find out the pattern of the relationship between the number of young people with pneumonia and the variables that affect it, a custom mathematical model is needed. The number of cases of toddler pneumonia in DKI Jakarta is a data count distributed by Poisson. Poisson regression is perfectly suitable for analyzing data that qualifies equidispersion. However, on the data, the number of toddler pneumonia cases in DKI Jakarta does not meet the equidispersion condition because the variance value is greater than the average or is called overdispersion. One of the methods developed to deal with overdispersion is negative binomial regression. The analysis showed that the average case of toddler pneumonia in Jakarta DKI was 454, Duren Sawit district recorded the highest case of 1329 cases and Sawah Besar district recorded the lowest case as 50 cases. The AIC criteria indicate that the Negative Binomial Regression model is a suitable model for modeling the number of cases of toddler pneumonia in Jakarta DKI with the smallest AIC value of 592,57. The best modeling results using the negative binomial regression method show two significant variables, they are the numbers of toddlers given exclusive breastfeeding and the numbers toddlers that were affected by covid-19.
