Abstract

Tengger people are allowed to carry out activities in the Bromo Tengger Semeru national park area through a conservation partnership mechanism that includes traditional zones and religious, cultural and historical zones. Based on regional zoning data owned by the Bromo Tengger Semeru national park office, the total area of the both zones where the conservation partnership is carried out is only ± 84 hectares, while the Tengger people’s main livelihood is a farmers and that policy has a big impact on the economic rights of the Tengger people. One of the unresolved problems is how to change the government’s paradigm which is only oriented towards economic growth for development to a paradigm which prioritizes the economic rights of traditional communities around the national park. This research is normative legal research with a statutory, conceptual and analytical approach. The conclusion of this research is that the conservation partnership is not enough to guarantee the economic rights of the Tengger people because the pattern is based on ecological sensitivity method andi is carried out unilaterally by the national park office. There is a need genuine public participation from Tengger people, starting from the formulation of policy regulations to the evaluation level so that the economic rights of the Tengger people can be guaranteed.

In this study, we aim to explore the impact of MSMEs in the food and beverage sector in Malang City Indonesia. The sample consists of 93 MSMEs from the Food and Beverage sector in Malang city. The data was analyzed using Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results showed that venture capital, government support, and entrepreneurial mindset have a significant influence on business success. It is important for MSMEs to have proper capital management strategies, including careful financial planning, effective cost control, and regular monitoring of financial performance to ensure that capital is used optimally. In addition, government programs such as financing, skills training, market access, mentorship, and other technical assistance can provide a boost to MSME business growth. Abstract

Bone Bolango Regency is one of the regencies in the Province of Gorontalo that serves as a center for the development of beef cattle, especially Bali cattle. Livestock feed availability is managed independently by farmers through cultivating forages, and livestock business management activities are carried out in livestock pens. This study aims to analyze the optimization of production and economic scale in Bali cattle farming businesses in Bone Bolango Regency. The method used was a survey. Purposive sampling was used to select respondents with consideration for farmers engaged in Bali cattle fattening businesses in Bone Bolango Regency, totaling 92 individuals. Data analysis was conducted using Cobb-Douglas production function analysis. The results show that 1) The production factor of feeder cattle is inefficient, requiring a reduction in quantity to achieve an optimal value of 86 kg cattle weight. The use of medications is inefficient and needs to be reduced to achieve an optimal value of 1,353.15 mg. Meanwhile, labor is not yet efficient, requiring an increase in production factors to reach an optimal value of 524.04 man-days. The feed production factor is already efficient, with the quantity being appropriate to achieve the optimization of Bali cattle production, which is 3,631 kg. 2) The economic scale of Bali cattle farming businesses in the Kabila District of Bone Bolango Regency is in a position of Decreasing Returns to Scale, as indicated by a return to scale value of less than one, which is 0.852. That implies that any increase in fixed inputs in the long term is always followed by a diminishing increase in output.

Abstract

The number of street vendors in Indonesia is an exciting thing to research. This relates to their decision to become an entrepreneur. Several interesting points are identified as supporting their entrepreneurial intentions, including entrepreneurial orientation, entrepreneurial mindset, and innovative work behaviour, which strengthen relationships. The problem often faced by street vendors is a need for more innovation so they do not have a competitive edge. On the other hand, intense competition usually becomes an obstacle in running a business. Therefore, innovation and ideas are needed to make them survive and even win the contest. The population in this study consists of street vendors spread across Greater Malang, with a sample size of 200 respondents. The method used in this research is PLS-SEM analysis. Entrepreneurial orientation and entrepreneurial mindset influence innovative work behaviour. A strong entrepreneurial spirit will encourage innovation. Another interesting finding is that creative work behaviour does not mediate the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and entrepreneurial mindset on entrepreneurial intentions. There needs to be support other than entrepreneurial orientation and an entrepreneurial mindset to generate entrepreneurial intentions, such as entrepreneurship education, as well as government support related to the environment, capital, and training.

Abstract

This research has the objectives to ascertain the impact of profitability, leverage, and company size on stock prices, with dividend policy serving as a mediator. This research adopts a causal associative approach employing quantitative research methods. The population for this research comprises 70 companies listed on the LQ45 index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) from 2018 to 2022. Sampling was conducted using purposive sampling based on specific criteria, resulting in 16 samples with a total of 80 observation data points. The data analysis employed panel data multiple linear regression method utilizing the Eviews 13 application. Intervening variable testing was conducted using the Sobel test. The research findings indicate that profitability and leverage do not significantly affect dividend policy, whereas firm size significantly influences dividend policy. Additionally, profitability, leverage, and dividend policy significantly influence stock prices. On the other hand, firm size does not significantly affect stock prices. However, the analysis of indirect effects shows that dividend policy does not mediate the relationship between profitability and leverage to stock price. Instead, dividend policy serves as a mediator between firm size and stock price.
