Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the knowledge of colors, the results of party makeup and find out the relationship between the knowledge of colors and the results of student makeup on the skin. The population in the study were 30 people. The results of the average score of color knowledge in students amounted to 34.73 with a tendency level categorized as high with the details of 8 students (26.7%) having high knowledge, 22 students (73.3%) having sufficient knowledge. On observing party makeup results obtained an average score of 29.63 with a tendency level categorized high with the details of 14 students (46.7%) getting high makeup results, 16 students (53.3%) getting the results of makeup that enough.Keywords: Knowledge of Colors, Results of Party Makeup

Abstract

ABSTRACT   Sports activities is an effort to protect, improve health and physical fitness for the elderly (aged). Compiled program must consider orthopedic problems that may exist and covers that can increase aerobic capacity (V02 max), lean body mass, muscle mass, bone density and flexibility. Therefore, training is given to the elderly include aerobic exercise, strength training, flexibility and balance exercises. The type of exercise is recommended to have a social aspect that could have an impact on the emotional well as the elderly. At the time of exercise is recommended to increase the time of heating and cooling, as well as selected activities that do not require a high level of coordination. During the exercise should not be forgotten drink to replace fluids lost during exercise. Sports for the elderly when done with programmed will have some benefits, such as to maintain health, increase the strength of the heart muscle, increase blood circulation in the body, reduce levels of fat, strengthen muscles , reduce stress and mental tension, boost the immune system. Abstract

Dalam mata pelajaran PJOK sarana prasarana merupakan salah satu factor utama penunjang keterlaksanaan kegiatan belajar mengajar, Kelengkapan sarana PJOK seperti bola sepak, bola voli, bola basket dan di bidang atletik seperti cakram, lembing dan untuk tolak peluru harus sebanding dengan jumlah siswa yang ada, sehingga proses kegiatan belajar mengajar berjalan dengan lancar dan tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai, tujuan kami melakukan penelitian di SMP HKBP ini adalah untuk mencari tahu cara mengelola sarana dan prasarana yang baik, metode yang kami lakukan adalah Pada penelitian Menggunakan proses pengumpulan dan analisis data, penulis memilih pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif dan menggunakan wawancara, observasi. Hasil penelitian ialah keadaan sarana dan prasarana sekolah dikelola dengan baik. Dalam menyediakan sarana dan prasarana tentu saja dapat menggembangkan bakat dan talenta pada siswa sehingga dapat memotivasi para siswa. Sarana dan prasarana olahraga yang kurang memadai hal ini jelas berpengaruh pada siswa dalam pembelajaran kurang efektif dan efesien. Proses pembelajaran akan berjalan dengan baik apabila didukung salah satunya oleh sarana dan prasarana yang memadai. Pengelolaan meliputi perencanaan, pengadaan, penggunaan, inventarisasi, penghapusan, dan pengawasan. Pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana  berjalan dengan baik.

Abstract

ABSTRACTNutritional status is a state of the body as a result of food consumption and utilization of nutrients which can be distinguished between poor, less, better, and more nutritional status. Consumption of food affects the nutritional status of a person. Good nutritional status occurs when the bodies are getting enough nutrients. Nutritional status can be determined based on anthropometric measurements. This study aims to determine the nutritional status of children under five years of age by size anthropometry. This study used a cross-sectional approach which was a type of research that emphasized the time measurement/observation data was only one variable at a time. The data collected was qualitative data in the form of education and employment levels. While quantitative data was the height and weight of children under five years of age. The data were collected through observation and interviews. Nutritional status data were obtained by measuring body weight (BW) and height (TB) using the scale and mikrotoa conducted by researchers. Measurement of nutritional status with the index BW/TB considered normal if -2 s/d +2 SD, wasthing -3 s/d < -2 SD, very thin < -3SD, obese > +2 SD. The results shows that the majority (45%) of children have normal nutritional status, 30% of children have nutritional satus wasthing, 5% of children have a very low nutritional status and 20% of obese children have nutritional status.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the factors that influence the success of exclusive breastfeeding. The design of this study is descriptive analytic with a sample size of 26 respondents with a total sampling method. The results of this study the majority of respondents aged 26-30 years as many as 10 people (38.5%), the majority of education secondary education respondents as many as 19 people (73.1%), the majority of respondents as IRT as many as 20 people (76.9%), the majority of respondents earn < 1,000,000 as many as 22 people (84.6%), and the majority of children's parity was 17 (65.4%). From the results of the product moment statistical test it can be concluded that the management factor at the place of delivery that supports breastfeeding and providing breastfeeding facilities in public places is a factor that influences the success of exclusive breastfeeding.Keywords: Factors, Success, Exclusive Breastfeeding

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research is a type of development research. Data Analysis of the data in this research development using quantitative descriptive analysis, all the data collected were analyzed by quantitative descriptive statistical techniques. The results of the study show that the material expert measurement gets an average percentage of 82.07% in the very good category, and the media expert measurement gets a percentage of 89.37% in the very good category. Therefore, the developed media obtained a very good category with the average score percentage (mean) from material experts and media experts of 85.72%.Keywords: Macromedia Flash 8, Learning Media ABSTRAKPenelitian yang dilakukan ini adalah jenis penelitian pengembangan. Data Analisis data dalam penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif, semua data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan teknik statistik deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa pengukuran ahli materi mendapatkan presentase rata-rata sebesar 82,07% dengan kategori sangat baik, dan pengukuran ahli media mendapatkan presentase sebesar 89,37% dengan kategori sangat baik. Maka dari itu, media yang dikembangkan memperoleh kategori sangat baik dengan presentase skor rata-rata (mean) dari ahli materi dan ahli media sebesar 85,72%.Kata Kunci: Macromedia Flash 8, Media Pembelajaran

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to: determine whether or not there is an effect of video tutorial-based learning media on the learning outcomes of making handbags from patchwork waste for eighth grade students of SMP N 1 SUNGGAL. This research is a quasi-experimental research, with a population of all class VIII as many as 10 classes totaling 300 students. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The sample consisted of 2 classes with a total of 60 students, class VIII-9 and class VIII-10 each with 30 students. Keywords: Learning Media, Tutorial Video ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk: mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh media pembelajaran berbasis video tutorial terhadap hasil belajar pembuatan tas tangan dari limbah kain perca siswa kelas VIII SMP N 1 SUNGGAL. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen, dengan populasi seluruh kelas VIII sebanyak 10 kelas berjumlah 300 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan sampling purposive. Sampel sebanyak 2 kelas dengan jumlah 60 siswa, kelas VIII-9 dan kelas VIII-10 masing-masing berjumlah 30 siswa.            Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran, Vidio Tutorial

Abstract

ABSTRACTLeprosy is a contagious disease which causes a very complex problem. Such a problem is not only a medical aspect but also it spreads to social, economic and cultural problem and comfort. Leprosy, up till now, is still frightened by all levels of society, families and including partly paramedics and medical officials. This matter is caused by the lack of  knowledge and disbelief toward leprosy. This research has a purpose to learn the relationship between the knowledge and the families’ responses with the healing process to the leprosy patients in the regency of Bengkalis Riau 2010. This kind of research has an analytic characteristic with the approach of cross sectional. The population in this research is all the family members of leprosy sufferers with the sample of 40 persons out of 97 persons. The method of sample selection is the cluster sample and uses chi-square analysis. The result of the research indicates that the respondents’ knowledge is in the medium category (67.5%), the good category attitude (52.5%) and recovery process of medium category (77.5%). It is found out that there is a significant correlation between the level of knowledge and the curative process toward the leprosy sufferers (P=0.007) and there is no significant correlation between the level of attitudes and the curative process upon leprosy sufferers (P=1.000).                It is suggested that health officials increase the supervision and health promotion to the family members of leprosy sufferers toward leprosy, contagion, therapy and the side effects of medication and it is also expected that families will pay more attention and give moral support to the leprosy sufferers in order that they will have more self confidence and perseverance in undergoing medical treatment. Kata Kunci : Keluarga, penyembuhan penyakit kusta.

Abstract

This paper discusses the idea of the multicultural education development strategy based on the local wisdom at higher education. Indonesia, as the largest archipelago in the world, certainly has diverse cultural base. The fact that ethnic and cultural plurality is not only justified historically, sociologically, and anthropologically, but also theologically. An important thing in the sustainability of the multicultural education is the loss of fanaticism and exclusivism tendencies.Therefore, the management of the proper local culture should become the core in the development of national education. The matter becomes the basis that the multicultural education suits to be the basis of the character education in higher education. Nevertheless, multicultural education does not mean eliminating the primordial identity because it will cause the social and cultural backwards. The Indonesian culture might not be narrowed down into particular ethnic and religion for such actions would not produce the original identity. Even worse, it will disappear the original identity. The development of the multicultural education based on the local culture is carried through some steps: Identifying and constructing the data base of local culture; Inserting the values of local wisdom into the core curriculum of higher education through the content of the Character Education Course; Using the contextual-holistic approach; Providing facilities and infrastructure in accommodating the form of local culture; Exploring the values of local wisdom in classrooms; Building and promoting the foundation of the character educators; and Evaluating the achievement of learning outcomesKata Kunci: Pendidikan, Multikultur, Kearifan Lokal, Pendidikan Tinggi

Abstract

ABSTRACTStudents as part of the 2/3 of the Indonesian population on demographic bonuses have to prepare themselves not to become foreign in their own country in this era of MEA. The way to improve the quality of education and student skills so that later after college can compete in getting a job with other college graduates in ASEAN countries. Medan City is a student city in North Sumatra Province, this indication is marked by many higher education institutions. The number of private and public universities in Medan is 60 universities. Students from these universities come from various regions in North Sumatra Province with various qualities. The objectives of this research are: (1) To know the readiness of the students as part of the demographic bonus if viewed from the aspect of knowledge and understanding towards MEA (ASEAN Economic Community), (2) To know the readiness of the students as part of the demographic bonus when viewed in terms of skill to MEA (ASEAN Economic Community), and (3) Knowing the readiness of the students as part of the demographic bonus when viewed from the experience point of the MEA (ASEAN Economic Community). The results showed that the readiness of students as part of the demographic bonus when viewed in terms of knowledge and understanding of the MEA provides a fairly promising picture. Most students show considerable knowledge and understanding of the MEA itself. Student readiness as part of the demographic bonus in terms of skills still needs to be improved. Students in the city of Medan do not have adequate skills evenly so can be worried about having difficulties in facing the MEA. While the readiness of students as part of the demographic bonus when viewed in terms of experience has not described the maximum results. Students are generally still minimal experience. Therefore, there is still a need to improve further experience in creating students who are full of experience. Whether you realize it or not, it's an experienced student who can compete in the MEA era. Keywords: students, Medan City, demographic bonus, MEA
