Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought about significant changes to the lives of primary school pupils, both academically and in social-emotional terms. On the one hand, technology provides extensive access to learning; on the other, it presents challenges such as smartphone addiction, poor emotional control, and a decline in the quality of social interaction. These circumstances call for the strengthening of resilience as pupils’ ability to cope with various pressures and learning challenges in the digital age. This study aims to understand primary school pupils’ experiences in developing resilience through social-emotional learning and digital literacy. The study employed a descriptive phenomenological approach, involving 12 pupils in Years 5–6 and 3 teachers from two state primary schools in the city of Medan. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, and subsequently analysed through data reduction, thematic categorisation, and interpretation of the participants’ experiences. The research findings indicate that social-emotional learning helps students recognise and manage their emotions, enhances empathy, and develops their ability to adapt to various learning challenges. Digital literacy provides positive experiences in using technology critically, wisely, and responsibly. The integration of these two learning experiences fosters student resilience through improved self-control, problem-solving skills, and the ability to cope with academic and social pressures. This study proposes the Socio-Digital Resilience Model, which explains that students’ resilience develops through the interaction of social-emotional competencies and digital literacy as key resources for addressing learning challenges in the digital age.The development of digital technology has brought about significant changes to the lives of primary school pupils, both academically and in social-emotional terms. Abstract

This study aims to describe the strategy of implementing differentiated learning to create active students and avoid teacher-centered learning patterns in the microteaching activities of Grade 5 students at SD Swasta Kasih Bapa Percut. The background of this research is the dominance of teacher-centered patterns in the learning process, which results in low active participation of students and suboptimal development of individual learners’ potential. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation methods. The research subjects were student teachers conducting microteaching and Grade 5 students at SD Swasta Kasih Bapa Percut. The results indicate that the implementation of differentiated learning through three main aspects content differentiation, process differentiation, and product differentiation significantly shifts the learning pattern from teacher-centered to student-centered. Applied strategies include: the use of various learning resources according to students’ learning styles, providing task choices based on learning readiness, interest, and learning profiles, as well as diverse authentic assessments. The resulting impacts include increased student activeness, learning motivation, and critical thinking skills. This study recommends that differentiated learning be established as the primary approach in microteaching practice as a provision for prospective teachers who are responsive to the diversity of learners.

Abstract

Adolescence is vulnerable to various mental health issues, especially for teenagers who marry early. Early marriage can cause psychological stress, changing social roles, and responsibilities that adolescents are not fully prepared for. This study investigates the role of the family in maintaining the mental health of adolescents who marry early. Data were obtained thru qualitative descriptive research with a literature study approach from various relevant sources, such as books, health organization reports, and national and international scientific journals. Identification, classification, interpretation, and synthesis of data are content analysis methods used to analyze the data. Studies show that families can help adolescents who marry early maintain their mental health thru open communication, emotional support, positive parenting, warmth in family relationships, and social and economic support. Conversely, family conflict and lack of support increase the risk of stress, anxiety, and other psychological disorders. These findings indicate that family involvement is crucial in helping adolescents adjust to new roles and improve psychologically.

Abstract

The development of modern biotechnology has reached a point where human cloning is no longer mere science fiction but rather a technical possibility. However, this progress leaves a significant gap in legal norms. This study aims to analyze the legal status of human cloning practices and its implications for the concepts of legal subjects and human rights. Using normative juridical research methods, this article examines international and national legal instruments. The analysis shows that the majority of current legal frameworks prohibit reproductive cloning as a violation of human dignity, but ambiguity remains regarding therapeutic cloning. Adaptive regulatory reconstruction is needed to prevent the future commodification of humans.
