Abstract

Learning Management Systems (LMS) support more structured, interactive, and student-centered learning; however, Web Programming instruction still encounters challenges related to fragmented learning materials, separated assignment management, and students’ difficulties in understanding server-side PHP concepts. The ADDIE model was used in this study's Research and Development (R&D) methodology. Students from SMKN 10 Surabaya participated in the study as research subjects. Tests of cognitive learning outcomes, expert validation, interviews, and observations were used to gather data. To ascertain the efficacy of the created LMS, the gathered data was examined utilizing N-Gain analysis, Paired Samples T-Test, Shapiro-Wilk normality testing, and product feasibility assessment. Based on black-box testing, the evaluation results showed that the LMS met all functional requirements and achieved a very feasible categorization. Students' average scores rose from 59.05 on the pre-test to 81.62 on the post-test after implementation. Students' scores before and after utilizing the LMS differed significantly, according to statistical analysis, with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). Additionally, the N-Gain score of 0.53 was classified as moderate, indicating a significant improvement in cognitive learning outcomes. These results imply that it is possible to include PBL into a Moodle-based LMS for educational purposes and that doing so enhances students' cognitive performance in web programming.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the strategic role of Islamic education in facing and directing the rapid development of modern science and technology (IPTEK). Advances in science and technology, while bringing convenience and innovation, often raise moral and ethical challenges due to materialistic and secularist paradigms. Islamic education serves as a guiding and supervising partner, emphasizing the values of monotheism and sharia as the primary standards for the development and utilization of IPTEK. This research method uses a qualitative-descriptive approach with a literature review. The results indicate that Islamic education must holistically integrate religious knowledge and general knowledge (science) through curriculum adjustments and learning methodologies. Key strategies include making Islamic Aqeedah the basis for IPTEK development and Islamic Sharia as the ethical standard for its utilization. Furthermore, it is necessary to improve the digital competence of educators and instill digital literacy based on Islamic ethics in students to counteract the negative impacts of technology. In conclusion, Islamic education plays a vital role in producing a generation of Muslim scientists who are scientifically competent (mastering IPTEK) while remaining steadfast in religious and moral values (having noble character), so that IPTEK can function as a means to achieve the welfare of the community.

Abstract

The learning process at SMKN 4 Bojonegoro faces challenges, namely the lack of digital infrastructure and learning that is still centered on teachers. Students and teachers have difficulty managing learning documents, both materials and assignments. Thus,  a learning management system with a project-based learning model  is needed that can be used in the learning process. This research aims to develop a learning management system with a project-based learning model  that can help students, teachers and admins in managing learning in the classroom. The learning management system is developed based on moodle with a project-based learning model. Moodle-based LMS is integrated with the code runner plugin.  Code runner plugins can help students practice coding without having to install additional software. The subject of this study is a software engineering student in class XI of SMK Negeri 4 Bojonegoro. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D)  method with the ADDIE (analyze, design, development, implementation, evaluation) model. Feasibility test  of  moodle-based learning management system with a project-based learning model  using blackbox testing and expert validation tests. The blackbox test on this LMS got valid results and the expert validation test got a very valid category.

Abstract

Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) is a crucial aspect of the aviation industry, which is characterized by a high level of occupational risk and complex operational activities. One of the high-risk work areas at PT Garuda Maintenance Facility (GMF) AeroAsia is the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) division, where employees are exposed to hazardous chemicals, radiation, and high-voltage equipment. This study aims to analyze occupational safety and health risks in the NDT area using the Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) method. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach through field observations, interviews with NDT technicians and OSH personnel, and a review of the company's existing Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) documents. The findings indicate that HIRA procedures have been implemented; however, several shortcomings remain, including outdated hazard identification records, limited technicians' understanding of HIRA documentation, and insufficient worker involvement in the risk assessment process. In addition, risk control measures are still primarily focused on the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) without fully implementing the hierarchy of controls. This study recommends strengthening HIRA-based OSH training, conducting regular updates of risk assessment documents, and increasing worker participation in hazard identification and risk assessment activities. The findings are expected to contribute to the improvement of the occupational safety and health management system within the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) work environment at PT Garuda Maintenance Facility (GMF) AeroAsia.

Abstract

Naskine customer service experiences difficulties in managing customer messages received through multiple communication channels, particularly WhatsApp and Instagram. The high volume of recurring customer inquiries and the limited capacity of admins to respond often result in delayed response times. This study aims to design and develop an omnichannel customer service application that integrates WhatsApp and Instagram into a single platform while automating the handling of frequently asked questions (FAQs). The Decision Tree method is applied to guide conversation flows based on predefined categories, enabling customers to obtain relevant information according to their needs. The application was developed using the Prototyping model with an iterative approach. The results indicate that the system improves the efficiency of customer service interactions through automated FAQ responses for recurring inquiries and structured message handling. The implementation of the system enhances response efficiency and allows admins to focus on conversations that require direct handling. The developed system can improve service quality and optimize customer service management.

Abstract

Carbon fiber sandwich composites are lightweight materials with high potential for structural applications because they offer a good combination of strength and stiffness. However, their mechanical properties and durability are influenced by the fabrication methods used. This study aims to analyze the effects of the hand lay-up, vacuum infusion, and hybrid vacuum infusion–hand lay-up methods on the impact strength of carbon fiber sandwich composites with a Lantor Coremat core. The study employed an experimental method with a quantitative approach. Specimens were fabricated using carbon fiber, epoxy resin, and Lantor Coremat, and then tested using the Charpy impact method in accordance with ASTM D6110. The data obtained consisted of impact energy (EI) and impact value (HI), which were subsequently analyzed using quantitative descriptive statistics based on the average values for each fabrication method variation. The research results show that the hybrid method produced the highest impact resistance, with an average impact energy of 7.50 J and an impact value of 0.157 J/mm², followed by the vacuum infusion method at 5.35 J and 0.113 J/mm², and the hand lay-up method at 2.22 J and 0.047 J/mm². These results indicate that combining the vacuum infusion and hand lay-up processes improves resin impregnation quality and reduces internal defects in the composite. Thus, the hybrid method has the potential to serve as an effective fabrication alternative for producing sandwich composites with improved impact resistance for engineering applications requiring lightweight yet strong material.

Abstract

Customer service through WhatsApp is widely used by small and medium-sized businesses. However, manual customer service often leads to slow response times, repetitive interactions, limited operating hours, and difficulties in managing customer data and transactions. This study aims to design and develop an artificial intelligence-based chatbot integrated with a web dashboard to automate customer service for Business XYZ. The system was developed using the Agile Development methodology consisting of planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and review stages. The implementation integrates WhatsApp, React.js, Node.js, Supabase, OpenAI, Biteship API, and QRIS Dynamic payment services into a centralized platform. The chatbot is capable of providing product information, processing orders, calculating shipping costs, handling payments, tracking order status, and performing automated customer follow-up. System functionality was evaluated using Black-Box Testing, and all major features operated according to the expected results. The developed system successfully improves customer service automation while providing an integrated platform for managing products, customers, and transactions.

Abstract

The rapid development of social media in Indonesia has increased public interaction on platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. However, this has also driven the proliferation of hate speech, particularly content containing elements of (SARA). This study proposes a Two-Stage Classification approach to address this challenge. In the first stage, the IndoBERT model (indobenchmark/indobert-base-p1) is fine-tuned to classify comments into Hate Speech and Non-Hate Speech. In the second stage, Support Vector Machine (SVM) with TF-IDF feature extraction and a custom SARA lexicon is used to further classify hate speech comments into SARA-based hate speech (HS_SARA) and general hate speech (HS_Umum). The dataset consists of 36,000 comments scraped from YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok on viral SARA-related topics. Data labeling was conducted using LLM Ensemble Voting involving three AI models followed by validation by three human annotators. The results show that IndoBERT in Stage 1 achieved an accuracy of 82.56% on the test set. In Stage 2, the SVM model achieved an accuracy of 95.07%, precision of 95.31%, recall of 95.07%, and F1-score of 95.07%, with cross-validation confirming stability at a mean accuracy of 96.74% (std = 0.19%). These findings demonstrate that the Two-Stage Classification approach effectively improves the specificity of hate speech detection by separating tasks in a sequential manner.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the language literacy skills of elementary school students in Sawahlunto City based on the 2025 Education Report Card data. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using a document analysis method. The data source was the Education Report Card containing National Assessment results from three elementary schools, namely SDN 06 Lumindai, SDN 29 Lumindai, and SDN 25 Balai Batu Sandaran. The analyzed data included the percentage of students achieving minimum literacy competency, average school literacy scores, competencies in reading informational and literary texts, and literacy performance based on reading competency levels. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and descriptive-comparative conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that students' literacy abilities varied across the three schools. SDN 06 Lumindai achieved the highest literacy performance, categorized as good, with 79.31% of students attaining minimum competency and an average literacy score of 62.50. SDN 29 Lumindai was categorized as moderate, with 70.59% of students meeting the minimum competency and an average score of 57.67. Meanwhile, SDN 25 Balai Batu Sandaran recorded the lowest achievement, with only 42.86% of students reaching minimum competency and an average literacy score of 38.10. Further analysis indicated that students were generally more proficient in accessing information than in interpreting and evaluating text content. The findings suggest that instructional quality, school literacy culture, teacher innovation, and the sustainability of literacy programs contribute significantly to students' literacy achievement. Therefore, strengthening systematic and sustainable school literacy programs is essential to improve the language literacy skills of elementary school students in Sawahlunto City.

Abstract

This research aims to Develop an interactive learning media assisted by Articulate Storyline on grounding system material to improve student learning outcomes. Electrical installation learning frequently relies on conventional methods lacking adequate visualization, resulting in suboptimal student comprehension. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) adapting the 4D Design (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Data collection was conducted involving 10 students in the limited trial and 38 students in the limited dissemination stage, alongside lecturers and teachers as validators. The research instruments included expert validation sheets, user response questionnaires, affective and psychomotor observation guidelines, as well as pre-test and post-test items. The testing results proved this media is highly valid, achieving 84.00% from material experts and 84.89% from media experts. The practicality aspect reached the highly practical category through a limited dissemination score of 81.75% and a teacher response score of 86.22%. The effectiveness level recorded high criteria via an N-Gain score of 0.7285, supported by improvements in the affective domain (82.74%) and psychomotor domain (80.47%). In conclusion, this interactive media is highly feasible, practical, and effective to implement for improving comprehensive learning outcomes.
