Kinerja : Jurnal Managemen Pendidikan Islam diterbitkan pertama kali pada Februari tahun 2023 yang berdasarkan pada SK Direktur SPS no 236/SK/SPs/KA/X/2021. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the learning of the Qur'an in students, the factors of students' difficulties in reading the Qur'an and the PAI teacher's strategy in overcoming difficulties in reading the Qur'an at MTs Arifah Gowa. This research method uses field research with a qualitative approach. The data needed in this study used the main instrument in the form of interviews, while observation and documentation were used to complement the data needed. All data collected were analysed in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and verification or conclusion drawing in a qualitative descriptive manner. The results showed that PAI teachers at MTs Arifah Gowa used the lecture method, assignment method, iqro method, practice method of reading al-qur'an habituation. The method of learning Islamic religious education, especially in the subject of al-qur'an which is often used by teachers is the method of demonstration and lecture. The factors that influence the difficulty of reading the Qur'an are students' self-awareness and motivation, lack of attention and education from parents, the negative influence of high technology so that students are carried away with things that are not useful compared to learning to read the Qur'an. Students' difficulties in reading the Qur'an are not recognising the hijaiyah letters, it is difficult to distinguish the short length of the Qur'anic recitation. The strategy is carried out to foster students, namely at the beginning of each lesson the teacher does tahsin qiraah or corrects the reading of the Qur'an.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the learning outcomes of Islamic religious education in students and the creativity of Islamic religious education teachers in evaluating Islamic religious education learning outcomes at UPT SPF SD Inpres Mallengkeri Bertingkat I as well as the factors that hinder and support the creativity of PAI teachers in evaluating Islamic religious education learning outcomes. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, interview, and documentation. The data sources in this research are primary and secondary data sources. While the object of this research is the Islamic Religious Education teacher of UPT SPF SD Inpres Mallengkeri Bertingkat I. The results showed that the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education at the school were not significant. The results showed that the PAI learning outcomes at UPT SPF SD Inpres Mallengkeri Bertingkat I were quite good because the scores obtained by students were able to achieve scores above the predetermined passing standard of 70-75. Teachers' creativity in evaluating learning outcomes obtained confirmation that creativity is determined by the factor of choosing the right method such as the use of effective methods and good class management, while the factors that hinder creativity are the lack of student awareness of the importance of evaluation and factors that support creativity are good school conditions and teachers who always provide guidance before the evaluation

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of parents in providing guidance on efforts to overcome juvenile delinquency in Lette Village, Makassar City. The research method uses qualitative with data collection techniques used, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. After that the collected data is analyzed with the stages of data reduction, data presentation and verification or drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that the problems studied are related to the role of parents in overcoming juvenile delinquency. It was found that the role of parents in overcoming juvenile delinquency includes participating in youth religious activities in Lette Village, sports lessons to avoid juvenile delinquency activities at night. The main supporting factors are good communication between parents and children, a harmonious and stable family environment. Various obstacles often hinder the role of parents in overcoming juvenile delinquency in this area. One of the main inhibiting factors is the lack of time between parents and children, the factor of peers who behave badly, the surrounding environment is not good, and the factor of people who have low human resources.

Abstract

The full day school system is a system that can encourage increased learning motivation and character building of students at school, because learning can be done in a longer time. However, through interviews conducted with several teachers and students of SMPN 1 BEKASI, several opinions were found that were against this system. In fact, the various benefits obtained through the implementation of the full day school system still cannot eliminate some of these counter opinions. This study aims to determine the effect of the Full Day School System on learning motivation and student character building at SMPN 1 BEKASI. This study uses a quantitative method with a sample of 29 ninth grade students. So that the filled questionnaire must be 29 data according to the number of samples. This study uses simple regression analysis techniques to test the variable fullday school system on learning motivation. The results stated that there was no significant effect on the implementation of the full day school system on student learning motivation. In many cases, students actually feel exhausted or less focused when school hours are extended without any significant changes in the learning approach or a more conducive learning atmosphere.

Abstract

The process of delivering instruction, teaching, and training to students aims to achieve optimal learning outcomes. However, merely providing instructional material is insufficient to attain maximum learning results without being accompanied by effective learning management. This study was conducted with the purpose of describing the planning process prior to instruction, the implementation of instruction based on established learning standards, as well as the evaluation processes and forms employed to enhance student learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 2 Syamtalira Aron, particularly for Grade VIII students. This research focuses on the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the instructional process at SMP Negeri 2 Syamtalira Aron. The objective of the study is to explore the planning, implementation, and evaluation practices employed at the school. The research adopts a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data collection techniques involved observation. The findings indicate that instructional planning at SMP Negeri 2 Syamtalira Aron has not been carried out effectively, as evidenced by the fact that the students' average scores have not yet met the established minimum mastery criteria (KKM).

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the challenges in management and curriculum within the framework of educational mutualization at Salafiyyah Islamic Boarding Schools (Pesantren), specifically the integration of religious and general education relevant to contemporary societal needs. The central research question explores the extent to which the management and curriculum practices of Salafiyyah pesantren support the development of an integrative and adaptive educational quality that addresses the spiritual, social, and economic needs of students (santri). A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, utilizing techniques such as in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings were analyzed by comparing field data with educational management theories, integrated curriculum frameworks, and previous research on similar topics. The findings reveal that Salafiyyah pesantren face several significant challenges, particularly in the areas of human resource management, financial administration, curriculum implementation, and infrastructure development. The existing curriculum remains largely traditional and lacks responsiveness to modern demands. Additionally, the management system is often informal and has yet to adopt a structured and professional approach.. In conclusion, the study underscores the urgency of reforming both management structures and curriculum design to enable pesantren to function as adaptive and contextually relevant educational institutions. Educational mutualization in Salafiyyah pesantren can only be realized through the synergy of curriculum revitalization, professional management practices, and adequate resource support.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the governance system of the Qur'an program at Pondok Pesantren Maskanul Huffaz, one of its flagship programs that plays a strategic role in producing high-quality Qur'an memorizers. The evaluation was conducted using the CIPP model (Context, Input, Process, Product) to provide a comprehensive overview of the program's effectiveness from planning, implementation, to the outcomes achieved. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the Qur'an program's governance system has been implemented systematically, supported by a solid managerial structure and special institutional attention. However, challenges remain, particularly regarding some instructors’ limited understanding and application of the established system, as well as the participants’ punctuality in attending learning sessions. Approximately 70% of the students have successfully completed the memorization of 30 juz with high-quality recitation based on fluency, articulation (makhārij al-ḥurūf), lengthening (mad), and tajwīd accuracy. The alignment between the financial resources utilized and the outcomes achieved demonstrates a high level of efficiency and productivity. The program’s excellence is further evident in its integration of character education and Islamic insight into the learning system.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Qur'anic recitation (tahsin) program using the Tilawati method at SDIT At-Taqwa Setu Bekasi through the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product). The model is applied to comprehensively assess the success of the program from planning and implementation to its outcomes. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that, contextually, the program’s objectives align with the institution’s vision and are supported by adequate human resources, although some teachers have yet to obtain Tilawati certification. The learning process is designed to be engaging, systematic, and flexible, using melodic reading (nada) and small-group approaches. Evaluation of the product component reveals that more than 90% of students are able to read the Qur'an fluently and understand the basics of tajwid. While challenges were identified—such as time allocation issues, limited student textbooks, and difficulties in mastering melodic recitation—they did not significantly hinder the overall success of the program.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of character education on the academic achievement of seventh-grade students at SMPN 19 Bekasi during the 2022/2023 academic year. The research is grounded in the importance of character values such as discipline, responsibility, and honesty in supporting students’ academic success. A quantitative approach was employed using an experimental method and quota sampling technique involving 31 students. The instruments utilized in this study were questionnaires and academic achievement tests, which were analyzed using validity, reliability, normality, and simple regression tests with the assistance of SPSS version 21. The results indicate a significant relationship between character education and students’ academic achievement, as evidenced by a correlation coefficient value of 0.574, categorized as a moderately strong relationship. The collected data were normally distributed, and the research instruments were both valid and reliable. These findings reinforce moral development theory and are consistent with previous studies that emphasize the positive contribution of character education to students’ academic performance. Therefore, character education should be integrated into the learning process and supported by the active involvement of families and the broader community.

Abstract

Living in the 21st century necessitates the integration of digital technology into nearly all aspects of life, including education. However, in practice, many students, including those at SMAN 1 Bekasi, tend to utilize digital technology particularly smartphones more for entertainment and social media than for educational purposes. Data indicate that approximately 88% of SMAN 1 Bekasi students are proficient in using smartphones, yet their academic performance remains low. This situation reflects a decline in learning effectiveness that must be addressed. This study aims to enhance student learning effectiveness through the use of digital-based instructional media, specifically instructional videos uploaded to YouTube by teachers acting as “YouTuber Teachers.” The method employed is a best practice study using a qualitative descriptive approach. Learning media were developed using laptops and smartphones, supported by applications such as PowerPoint, Format Factory, and Viva Video. The instructional videos were uploaded to the YouTube channel Estin Farida and distributed via social media, accompanied by books or interactive modules. The results show that implementing YouTube-based instructional videos significantly improves student learning effectiveness. This is reflected in enhanced learning quality, increased learning motivation and engagement, better preparedness to receive lessons, and greater flexibility in time and space for learning. Additionally, there is a notable improvement in students’ creativity and digital literacy.
