Abstract

The purpose of the research is to analyze the relationship between student perception for teacher competence and using of learning medium with students psychomotor skill. The study was conducted at 70 samples selected randomly. The result of the research indicates that there are positive correlations between : (1) student perception for teacher competence and students psychomotor skill; (2) students perception for using of learning medium; moreover, there is positive correlation between students perception for teachers competence and using of learning medium with students psychomotor skill.

Abstract

The purpose of the research was to determine the effect of cooperative learning models consisting of cognitive, affective and psychomotor on improving the quality of learning outcomes of SMPN 13 Bekasi students. The research method uses quantitative with the experimental type of pre-test, post test, non-equivalent control group design with primary data sources derived from the results of interviews and student observations, while secondary comes from journals, books, documents that support the results of research with data analysis using descriptive statistics and partial tests. The results showed that the cooperative learning model through the group investigation method had no effect on cognitive, affective and psychomotor learning outcomes in SMPN 13 Bekasi students which could be caused by less than optimal implementation, different student abilities, unsupportive group dynamics, minimal interaction between students or groups not functioning properly, this could result in stagnant learning outcomes and external variables that were not taken into account.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of transformational leadership on organizational performance through a bibliometric analysis. The aim is to understand how transformational leadership can address challenges faced by educational institutions, enhance innovation, and align practices with global trends while respecting the cultural values of Islamic education. Using VOSviewer software and data from Scopus and Google Scholar, this research systematically evaluates 77 articles published from 2014 to 2024. The findings highlight a significant increase in the literature on transformational leadership, with a focus on key leadership behaviours such as vision articulation, inspirational communication, and intellectual stimulation. These behaviours are strongly linked to improved organizational outcomes, including higher student enrolment in universities and greater institutional commitment. The study underscores the role of transformational leadership in fostering a positive, collaborative culture that encourages innovation and continuous improvement. The implications for educational leaders include the adoption of transformational leadership to improve organizational performance in response to evolving educational demands. Further research is recommended to explore the applicability of these findings in different educational contexts.

Abstract

Background: Religious moderation education in the family plays a crucial role in fostering tolerance and peaceful coexistence in a pluralistic society. Purpose: This study explores the implementation of religious moderation education within families through a case study of the Bekasi City Religious Harmony Forum (FKUB). Method: Using a qualitative approach, the research involved in-depth interviews with representatives from Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Confucianism, along with document analysis and direct observation of FKUB activities. Result: The findings reveal that each religion emphasizes values such as mutual respect, compassion, and peaceful coexistence. Islam promotes tolerance and dialogue, Christianity focuses on love, Hinduism stresses harmony, Buddhism advocates for virtue and inner peace, and Confucianism teaches respect and harmony. Conclusion: The study concludes that religious moderation education in families contributes significantly to fostering harmony and unity amidst religious diversity in Bekasi City. These findings highlight the potential of early family-based education in building an inclusive and peaceful society.

Abstract

This study explores Islamic thought on education in the form of its concept from the perspective of KH. Abdurrahman Wahid. In the context of concern about the impact of globalization called future shocks, researchers see a lack of clear concepts in the world of Indonesian education to face this current of globalization. This study focuses on the thoughts of KH. Abdurrahman Wahid on the concept of Islamic education that reflects neomodernism, with efforts to maintain traditional values ??while absorbing western modernization. This study uses a library research method, also known as library research whose information is collected through library research, This study is included in the category of "Analytical Descriptive" data collection according to the actual facts and then compiling, processing, and analyzing them to provide an overview of current issues. The results of the study indicate that the concept of neomodernist Islamic Education is the first part of the ideas of KH. Abdurrahman Wahid about the five parts that must be developed in Islamic education. Second, Islamic education based on freedom. Third, Islamic education based on multiculturalism. Fourth, Islamic education for all. Fifth, humanist Islamic education. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pemikiran islam tentang pendidikan dalam bentuk konsepnya dari perspektif KH. Abdurrahman Wahid. Dalam konteks keprihatinan terhadap dampak globalisasi yang disebut kejutan masa depan peneliti melihat kekurangan konsep yang jelas dalam dunia pendidikan Indonesia untuk menghadapi arus globalisasi ini. Penelitian ini fokus pada pemikiran KH. Abdurrahman Wahid tentang konsep pendidikan Islam yang mencerminkan neomodernisme, dengan upaya menjaga nilai-nilai tradisional sambil menyerap modernisasi barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pustaka, yang juga dikenal sebagai penelitian kepustakaan yang Informasinya dikumpulkan melalui penelitian kepustakaan, Penelitian ini termasuk dalam kategori "Deskriptif Analitis" pengumpulan data sesuai dengan fakta sebenarnya dan kemudian menyusun, mengolah, dan menganalisisnya untuk memberikan gambaran umum tentang isu-isu yang ada saat ini. Hasil penelitiannya menunjukan bahwa konsep Pendidikan Islam neomodernis merupakan bagian pertama dari gagasan pemikiran KH. Abdurrahman Wahid tentang lima bagian yang harus dikembangkan dalam pendidikan Islam. Kedua, pendidikan Islam yang berlandaskan kebebasan. Ketiga, pendidikan Islam yang berlandaskan multikulturalisme. Keempat, pendidikan Islam untuk semua. Kelima, pendidikan Islam yang humanis.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the ability of teachers at the As-Syifa Al-Khaeriyah Subang Foundation to write quality scientific papers that are worthy of publication. This activity was carried out in collaboration with the Unisma Bekasi Graduate School as a form of academic contribution in supporting teacher professionalism through strengthening academic literacy. The method of implementing the activity consisted of a pre-test to measure initial understanding, interactive training that included material on the nature of scientific papers, writing structures, article preparation techniques, and the selection of appropriate journals, and ended with writing practice and a clinic for the revision of participants' works. This activity was held for a full day on April 13, 2025, with a total of 50 teachers participating. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in the aspects of knowledge, technical skills, and positive attitude of teachers towards scientific paper writing activities. Post-test evaluation showed an increase in the average comprehension score of participants compared to pre-test. In addition, participants also showed enthusiasm and commitment to developing a writing culture in their respective school environments.

Abstract

Majelis taklim, as a non-formal religious education institution, plays a strategic role in promoting religious moderation, particularly in addressing grassroots intolerance and radicalism. This community engagement program aimed to strengthen the role of Majelis Taklim Babakan Jamanis, Karangbenda Village, Pangandaran, in fostering religious moderation through educational and participatory approaches. Activities included training, discussions, and mentoring involving congregation members, religious leaders, and local authorities, focusing on values such as tawassuth, tasamuh, i’tidal, and musawah. As a result, the majelis taklim fulfilled five strategic functions: inclusive religious education, peaceful and contextual preaching, social solidarity, partnership in public education, and an open space for interfaith dialogue. This program contributed to contextualizing and sustaining religious moderation, highlighting the potential of empowering local religious institutions to build a tolerant and peaceful religious ecosystem.

Abstract

The condition of adequate facilities and infrastructure in elementary schools is essential to support an effective learning process. This research aims to identify the condition of facilities and infrastructure at SDN Sukajadi 04, Bekasi Regency, and offer appropriate improvement solutions. This research is based on the importance of a conducive learning environment to support students' academic achievement and teacher productivity. The methodology used in this study includes direct observation of the physical condition of school facilities, interviews with teachers and school staff, and documentation of current conditions through photographs and field notes. Observations were carried out to directly assess the condition of facilities and infrastructure, interviews to gain perspectives from facility users, and documentation to record visual evidence and written records regarding the condition of facilities. The results of the study showed that the classrooms at SDN Sukajadi 04 had dirty walls, desks, and chairs that were not suitable for use, and low-quality equipment. The Principal, Teacher, and Administration rooms are combined into one room with poor conditions, reducing comfort and productivity. Improper toilets and muddy fields when it rains are also major problems. This study concludes that the condition of inadequate facilities and infrastructure hinders the learning process and the performance of school staff. The implication of these findings is the need for improvements and upgrades to facilities through fundraising strategies, renovation planning, and ongoing maintenance to create a better and more comfortable learning environment. The implementation of this improvement is expected to improve the quality of education and welfare of the entire school community at SDN Sukajadi 04, Bekasi Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Qur'anic recitation (tahsin) program using the Tilawati method at SDIT At-Taqwa Setu Bekasi through the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product). The model is applied to comprehensively assess the success of the program from planning and implementation to its outcomes. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that, contextually, the program’s objectives align with the institution’s vision and are supported by adequate human resources, although some teachers have yet to obtain Tilawati certification. The learning process is designed to be engaging, systematic, and flexible, using melodic reading (nada) and small-group approaches. Evaluation of the product component reveals that more than 90% of students are able to read the Qur'an fluently and understand the basics of tajwid. While challenges were identified—such as time allocation issues, limited student textbooks, and difficulties in mastering melodic recitation—they did not significantly hinder the overall success of the program.
