Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of management education and training on the effectiveness of small business operations. The objective of this study is to determine whether management education and training can improve the effectiveness of operational effectiveness of small businesses, as well as to identify the most effective method of effective in improving such operational effectiveness. This research will be conducted using survey method and statistical data analysis. Data will be collected through questionnaires distributed to small business owners who have participated in the management education and training program, and to who have participated in management education and training programs, as well as those who have not. who have not participated. Data analysis will be conducted using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques descriptive and inferential statistical techniques to identify the relationship between the variable management education and training with small business operational effectiveness. The results of the study are expected to provide a better understanding of the the importance of management education and training in improving the effectiveness of small business operations. The implication of this study is that small business owners small business owners need to pay attention to investing in management education and training as a strategy to improve their operational performance

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of safety training programs in the construction sector and the role of management in enhancing compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards through a literature review. The research employs a literature study method, gathering data from 20 articles indexed in Sinta and Scopus between 2018 and 2023. Conducted over two months (June and July 2024), the study identifies the most effective training methods for improving OHS compliance. It also highlights the managerial role in ensuring that safety training is well adopted and implemented by workers on-site. The findings reveal that from 2018 to 2023, the implementation of OHS across various sectors has shown significant progress, particularly with the adoption of advanced technologies like Virtual Reality (VR) and the Internet of Things (IoT). However, gaps in understanding and applying OHS, especially in SMEs and construction, persist, with a need for increased awareness and comprehension. A more proactive managerial role and the integration of smart technologies are crucial for enhancing the effectiveness of OHS training and worker safety. Future research should explore the broader application of VR and IoT in various sectors and assess the long-term effectiveness of OHS training programs supported by these technologies. Further studies are needed to address the challenges in implementing OHS in SMEs and construction to achieve higher safety standards

Abstract

Leadership is a pivotal element in elevating the performance of any organization from its basic to peak levels, presenting a powerful force that propels organizational success. This study explores the role of leadership in enhancing employee motivation and performance at TVRI Station Jakarta, highlighting the originality of focusing on media industry leadership dynamics. Employing a qualitative survey method, this research collects data through observations, interviews, and documentation to delve into these leadership impacts. Analysis techniques include data presentation, reduction, and the drawing of conclusions. Results indicate that leadership at TVRI Station Jakarta significantly enhances employee motivation and performance through guidance, fun, comfort, appreciation, and training. These findings suggest that implementing strategic leadership practices can substantially benefit employee engagement and performance in the broadcasting sector. The study contributes to the theoretical and practical understanding of leadership’s effect on motivation and performance, offering insights applicable to similar settings in the media industry

Abstract

This study explores the influence of discipline and work motivation on employee performance at PT Sugity Creatives, addressing a gap in understanding how internal factors specifically affect performance within this company. The research objective is to quantitatively assess the contributions of these variables to employee effectiveness. Employing a descriptive approach with a quantitative methodology, the study encompasses the entire company population of 41 employees using a saturated sampling technique. Multiple linear regression analysis was applied to evaluate the data. The findings confirm significant positive effects: discipline exhibits a notable influence on performance with a t-value of 7.972, exceeding the t-table value of 2.024 and a significance level of 0.000. Similarly, work motivation impacts performance with a t-value of 5.983. Collectively, discipline and motivation significantly enhance performance, evidenced by an F-value of 31.193. These results underscore the critical role of managerial strategies in fostering workplace discipline and motivation to boost employee output. Enhancing these factors could lead to more effective personnel management and improved operational outcomes at PT Sugity Creatives

Abstract

In the competitive arena of international trade, amplified by the industrial revolution 4.0 and its propagation of seemingly unbounded free trade, business entities are compelled to evolve strategies that influence consumer decisions favorably to thrive. This research investigates the strategic avenues to enhance the quality of purun woven crafts, aiming to augment the economic prosperity of Pematang Panjang Village, a community where this craft has been a tradition for over six decades yet has seen limited development. Utilizing a qualitative research method, primary data was gathered through direct interviews with local craftsmen, supplemented by secondary sources. The findings indicate that the current strategies to improve the craft's quality are underperforming against theoretical expectations. This research underscores the need for innovative approaches in the craft's production processes and market strategies to better harness the economic potential of the local industry, suggesting a pivotal shift towards more dynamic and market-responsive practices. This adjusted abstract encapsulates the research's originality, objectives, methods, results, and implications within the required word count.

Abstract

Community empowerment is an activity that involves community participation. Community empowerment carried out by the Insan Mulia Sejahtera Foundation in South Jakarta through catfish farming business with the aim of improving the family economy, besides that it is also useful for improving family food security. This study aims to determine and analyze community empowerment carried out by Yayasan Insan Mulia Sejahtera through catfish cultivation biofloc system in the South Jakarta area. In addition, it is also to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors in the biofloc system catfish cultivation business. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative research method, with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation, which are then analyzed and outlined in descriptive writing. The results showed that community empowerment implemented by Yayasan Insan Mulia Sejahtera has run well but has not been optimal, because there are still several obstacles or problems in its implementation. This is shown by the results of catfish cultivation have increased family economic income but have not been able to make catfish cultivation the main income of the family economy, or in other words just additional income for the family economy

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of motivation and training on the performance of employees of PT Jaya Persada Indonesia Maxi Pasar Minggu Branch South Jakarta. The research method used is quantitative research. A total of 63 employees have been selected as research respondents through sampling techniques. Quantitative data were obtained through the distribution of a 5-scale Likert questionnaire. The results of the study revealed that there was an influence of motivation and training both partially and simultaneously on the performance of employees of PT Jaya Persada Indonesia Maxi Pasar Minggu Branch, South Jakarta. This study then analyzed in more depth the contribution of influence exerted by each independent variable (motivation and training) to the dependent variable (employee performance), and the results showed a considerable contribution

Abstract

This study examines the influence of leadership style and work discipline on employee performance at Syahid Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyah Haurgeulis Hospital, West Java, Indonesia. Conducted over six months, the research involved 30 active employees selected using a non-probability sampling method. The study aims to understand how these factors individually and collectively impact performance. Data was collected via questionnaires and analyzed using statistical methods. The results indicate that leadership style significantly and positively affects employee performance, with a t-count of 2.656 exceeding the t-table value of 2.062 (p = 0.002). Similarly, work discipline also shows a significant positive effect on performance, with a t-count of 4.067 surpassing the t-table value of 2.062 (p = 0.021). The F-test further supports these findings, showing that the combined influence of leadership style and work discipline on performance is significant (F-count = 9.807 > F-table = 2.69, p = 0.001). These results highlight the importance of effective leadership and strict work discipline in enhancing employee performance. The study's implications suggest that hospital management should focus on these areas to improve overall performance

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Directorate of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri, involving a population of 214 personnel, with a sample of 140 respondents selected using a 5% margin of error. The study aims to determine and analyze the impact of education, training, and competence on the performance of Police Civic Dittipidum Personnel. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents using probability random sampling. Quantitative data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 22. The findings indicate that education, training, and competence each have a positive and significant effect on the performance of Police Civic Office personnel. When combined, these factors also show a positive and significant effect, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 58.2%. The training education variable emerged as the most dominant factor influencing performance, with a constant coefficient value of 0.311. These results underscore the importance of comprehensive education and training programs in enhancing the competence and performance of police personnel, suggesting that targeted interventions in these areas can lead to significant improvements in their effectiveness

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the impact of training, communication, and work motivation on employee performance at the Government Office of Labuhanbatu Utara Regency. This research is quantitative in nature. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling, with a total of 74 respondents. Data obtained were analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression tests, hypothesis tests, and the coefficient of determination test, utilizing SPSS (Statistic Package for the Social Sciences). The results of partial testing show that training has a significant effect on employee performance, communication has a significant effect on employee performance, and work motivation has a significant effect on employee performance. Meanwhile, simultaneous testing indicates that training, communication, and work motivation collectively have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Government Office of Labuhanbatu Utara Regency. The originality of this research lies in its focus on the combined influence of these variables on employee performance in a governmental setting. The findings imply that enhancing training, communication, and motivation can significantly improve employee performance
