Abstract

The Influence of Internal Control and Compensation on Employee Performance at CV. Arjuna Persada Gemilang South Tangerang. Under the Guidance of Dr. Muhammad Ramdhan, MM and Dr. Ir. H. Rachman Upe, MM. The purpose of this research is to determine (1) the effect of internal recognition on employee performance at CV Arjuna Persada Gemilang partially, (2) the effect of compensation on employee performance at CV Arjuna Persada Gemilang partially (3) the effect of internal recognition and compensation on employee performance at CV Arjuna Persada Gemilang. The research method used is a quantitative research method. In this research, the samples taken were all CV employees. Arjuna Persada Gemilang, numbering 50 people. The sampling technique uses a sample method using a saturated sample method. The research results show that (1) Internal Control has a significant influence on Employee Performance at CV. Arjuna Persada Gemilang South Tangerang, (2) Compensation has a significant influence on employee performance at CV. Arjuna Persada Gemilang South Tangerang, (3) Internal Control and Compensation have a significant influence on Employee Performance at CV. Arjuna Persada Gemilang South Tangerang.

Abstract

This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, where researchers are the key instrument. The data collected were obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is triangulation, with the addition of several relevant sources. This study discusses the urgency of study permits for civil servants who will study. This phenomenon involves several civil servants who face obstacles in managing promotion through the diploma adjustment route due to not having a study permit issued by the Karimun Regency BKPSDM. The Regent of Karimun has issued a circular explaining the procedure for obtaining study permits for civil servants who will study. However, there are still civil servants who do not comply with these regulations and choose to continue studying without having a study permit. This phenomenon also occurs at SMPN 1 Moro, where several civil servants who have finished college but experience problems in the process of managing promotion through the diploma adjustment route. Based on this background, this study aims to explore the reasons behind the decision of civil servants to continue studying even without a study permit. From the results of the study, it was obtained that the lack of information regarding study permits and the issuance of Law number 14 of 2005 caused civil servants at SMPN 1 Moro to continue studying even without a study permit. The distance and topography separated by the ocean are also the reasons why civil servants at SMPN 1 Moro do not take care of study permits until completion. It was also found that the impact felt by civil servants at SMPN 1 Moro was not only an obstacle in class promotion, but also had an impact on periodic salary increases.

Abstract

PT Pitjarus Teknologi is a company engaged in information technology and provides software services to its clients. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of training and work motivation on employee performance at PT Pitjarus Teknologi located in Bekasi. The research method used is descriptive quantitative, utilizing questionnaires as the data collection method with 100 respondents from the employees of PT Pitjarus Teknologi. The data analysis used is statistical analysis using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) v26. The results of the research show that (1) there is a positive and significant influence of the training variable on employee performance at PT Pitjarus Teknologi, (2) there is a positive and significant influence of the work motivation variable on employee performance at PT Pitjarus Teknologi, and (3) there is a positive and significant influence of the environment and motivation variables on employee performance at PT Pitjarus Teknologi. The expectation from the implementation of this research is that PT Pitjarus Teknologi can improve employee performance by paying attention to the factors of enhancing training and work motivation. The originality/value of this research can be beneficial for employees in their efforts to improve their performance to be better.

Abstract

This research aims to examine and analyze "The Influence of Work Motivation and Compensation on Employee Performance at PT. Harmoni Nirwana Lestari Jakarta." This type of research is quantitative. The data used in this study are primary data obtained from questionnaires distributed to employees at PT. Harmoni Nirwana Lestari Jakarta. The sample size used was 75 respondents. The data obtained were analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression tests, hypothesis tests, and coefficient tests using the SPSS 24 program. The partial test results for work motivation significantly affect employee performance with a t-value of 8.404 and a significance level of 0.000. Compensation significantly affects employee performance with a t-value of 8.223 and a significance level of 0.000. Meanwhile, the simultaneous testing for work motivation and compensation significantly affects employee performance at PT. Harmoni Nirwana Lestari Jakarta with an F-value of 41.597 and a significance level of 0.000.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze sustainability strategies for small businesses in the agricultural sector, focusing on identifying factors that influence productivity and business sustainability. Key strategies that can help enhance the sustainability of small agricultural businesses include product diversification. The research was conducted over three days on May 19, 20, and 21, 2024, at the Women's Farming Group (KWT) in Ciputat, led by Mrs. Sri Agustin, who is also the neighborhood head. Data were collected from 30 members of the Garuda 12 Women's Farming Group in Cipayung, Ciputat, South Tangerang, ensuring that the selected respondents have high relevance to the research topic. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques included literature study, observation, and interviews with ten KWT members. The results highlight the importance of efficient food resource management, adoption of agricultural technology, market development and marketing, education and training, policy support, and access to financing. Financing for small businesses in the agricultural sector requires sustained support from various parties, including the government, financial institutions, and the private sector. With these various sources of financing, it is expected that small and medium-sized agricultural enterprises can grow better and contribute more significantly to the national economy. By implementing these strategies, small businesses in the agricultural sector can enhance their resilience and contribution to the economy. Effective strategies are necessary to ensure the continuity and growth of these small businesses. This study aims to identify and analyze strategies that can improve productivity, profitability, and sustainability of small businesses in the agricultural sector. The approaches include product diversification, adoption of modern technology, supply chain optimization, and strengthened market access. Product diversification helps farmers reduce risk and maximize income. Adoption of modern technology, such as smart irrigation and drone use for land monitoring, increases efficiency and production yields. Supply chain optimization includes improving logistics and distribution, which can reduce costs and speed up product delivery times

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the supply chain management of post-harvest agricultural products with a focus on increasing efficiency and reducing post-harvest losses. The research subjects are farmers in Cipayung Mas Ciputat, South Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia. This research was conducted in May 2024. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis. Research participants include farmers, collectors, traders, and distributors. Data processing was carried out using thematic analysis to identify patterns in supply chain management and factors affecting post-harvest losses. The results of the study show that effective supply chain management can significantly reduce post-harvest losses and increase farmers' profits. Key factors identified include efficient storage, rapid distribution, and the use of modern technology in post-harvest processing. The study also found that training and education for farmers on good storage and distribution techniques are essential to improve the quality and quantity of produce reaching the market. This research provides recommendations for stakeholders to invest in storage infrastructure and processing technology, as well as to conduct regular training programs for farmers. By implementing better supply chain management, it is expected to improve farmers' welfare and regional food security

Abstract

This study aims to analyze human resources in small agricultural enterprises, focusing on identifying factors that influence productivity and business sustainability. The research subjects are small-scale farmers in the Garuda 12 Women's Farming Group in Cipayung, Ciputat, South Tangerang, who own less than 200 m² of agricultural land. The research method used is a qualitative approach involving in-depth interviews and participatory observations. Data were collected from 30 members of the Garuda 12 Women's Farming Group in Cipayung, Ciputat, South Tangerang, using purposive sampling to ensure the selected respondents have high relevance to the research topic. The collected data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify main themes related to human resources. The results indicate that technical skills, access to training, and time management are key factors influencing the productivity of small-scale farmers. Additionally, support from government and non-governmental organizations in the form of extension services and technical assistance also plays a significant role in improving human resource quality. However, limited capital and access to modern technology remain major challenges. The implications of this research suggest that enhancing human resource quality can be achieved through continuous training programs and better access to resources and technology. This study contributes to the understanding of the importance of human resource development in small agricultural enterprises and can serve as a basis for designing more effective policies to support small-scale farmers

Abstract

This study explores the role of universities in career development and entrepreneurship. It aims to examine how universities contribute to shaping students' career paths and fostering entrepreneurial initiatives. The research focuses on identifying the various initiatives and programs implemented by universities to support career development and entrepreneurship among students. Methodologically, the study employs qualitative interviews and surveys to gather insights from students, faculty members, and industry professionals. Empirical findings highlight the significant impact of university-led initiatives in enhancing students' employability skills and entrepreneurial competencies. These initiatives include career counseling services, internships, entrepreneurship courses, startup incubators, and networking events. The study underscores the importance of universities in bridging the gap between academia and industry, thereby preparing students for the dynamic demands of the job market and equipping them with the necessary skills to succeed as entrepreneurs

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have a strategic role in the nation's economic development, especially in encouraging economic growth and development. This research examines several journals regarding the influence of digitalization on the improvement and development of MSMEs in South Tangerang City. In the context of the rapid growth of digital technology, MSMEs face the challenge of expanding their market reach and increasing their sales. The use of digital platforms is an important solution in achieving this goal. This research aims to provide an in-depth understanding of how MSMEs can optimize digital platforms to increase visibility, develop brands and increase sales. Through a literature review, this research identifies the importance of digitalization, the benefits of integrating knowledge sources through digital platforms, and the positive impact of digital marketing on consumer purchasing interest and MSME income. The use of digitalization has been proven to increase income and development of MSMEs in any city. The South Tangerang City Government, through the Department of Cooperatives and UMKM, said that 60% of MSMEs in South Tangerang City have not used digitalization, while 30% of MSMEs have used digitalization. Therefore, regional or central governments need to support by holding digitalization training for MSMEs

Abstract

The orchid cultivation and marketing industry in South Tangerang has shown significant development within the horticultural sector. This study explores the general conditions of orchid cultivation, including environmental factors conducive to plant growth and common cultivation techniques. Additionally, the study delves into aspects of orchid marketing, covering strategies employed in marketing local orchid products and addressing challenges in both local and export markets. In the context of technology, the research highlights the role of modern technology in orchid cultivation development, from growth monitoring to harvest processing systems. Key constraints in the industry are also discussed, alongside case studies of successful farmers or companies navigating challenges and leveraging opportunities in the orchid cultivation and marketing industry. The findings aim to provide valuable insights for further development in the orchid industry in South Tangerang, serving as a foundation for sustainable policies and best practices to advance the sector
