Abstract

The National Family Planning Board (BKKBN) of Jambi Province is a non-departmental government institution. In mail archiving systems still use manual systems, such as still using paper as the main archive, which is often difficult to find the file, often the archive was notfound because of the many archives that existed for many years.With incoming and outgoing mail applications can reduce the time spent in mail archiving and disposition, reduce paper use, minimize the chances of errors in recording, speed up the mail search process, facilitate the control of letter disposition, and easy to use. To connect each form and avoid data redundancy use Inter-Table Relation (RAT) and Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) and Data Flow Diagram (DFD) to see system flow. In building this system used Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 and SQL Server 2000 programming languages ​​asdatabase.

Abstract

Research Institution and Community Service of STIKOM Dinamika Bangsa Jambi, in executing its function, that is to manage all activity in term of research and community service is not optimum yet. One of those is at publication activity. This is caused by unproper control set in quality assurance as the benchmark of the publication activity. The goals of the research is to create quality assurance model at publication activity in Research Institution and Community Service (LPPM). The model is described by using case diagram, activity diagram and calss diagram. This kind of model is considered able to be a reference for LPPM in system building and execxuting quality assurance internally in STIKOM Dinamika Bangsa Jambi.

Abstract

The article of Scientific work will explain step by step about design and build a Project System Information Payment Advertorial News on the CV. Fokus Jambi which aims to facilitate the performance of the company, especially a part of assistant editor in data processing of Payment Advertorial News to be more effective and efficient, and to be able used to decision making. This application is designed by use Visual Basic 6.0 and Database MySQL Server relating to the research conducted by field of study, literature and laboratory study. After this application is made, in order to be able implementation very well and there is development in the next time, so this application will be better. And can be operated optimally by the company to data processing of Payment Advertorial News.

Abstract

Laboratory of the Politeknik Jambi provide facilities and equipment for Lecturers and Students in the lab. Procedure filing process tool and materials lab at the Politeknik Jambi Laboratory unit includes filing, checks, purchase and distribution of items needed during the practicum. But at the time of administration, procurement is not good, because every unit in filing administrative tools and materials lab with a format that is different. This research resulted in a filing information system modeling tools and lab materials Politeknik Jambi Modeling using techniques Unified Modeling Language (UML) withdiagrams, use case diagrams. activity and class diagrams modeling is used as a reference in building information systems that include procurement of laboratory equipment and materials, in order to assist existing problems, in accordance with established standards.

Abstract

Information about existing tourist villages in Indonesia as well as location information is needed especially by potential travelers. This information is still very limited due to the absence of media that is able to bridge them. The authors designed a system that can be used as a liaison between village tourist managers with tourists. Using more interactive interactives and more accurate location search using Google Maps API is expected to have a significant impact on the widespread reach of the tourist villages so as to increase the incomes of nearby communities.

Abstract

Dunia pendidikan salah satunya Perguruan tinggi yang dalam proses bisnisnya memerlukan dukungan TI sebagai pemampu dan memudahkan dalam mengolah proses bisnisnya agar lebih efektif dan efisien. Tetapi dalam implementasi TI, instansi perguruan tinggi kurang untuk mengevaluasi sejauh mana layanan yang berbasis TI dapat dikontrol untuk mendukung layanan proses-proses bisnis institusi perguruan tinggi, terutama dalam menjaga tingkat ketersediaan (avability) TI. Untuk itu perlu dilakukannya pengukuran terhadap sistem dengan menggunakan maturity model pada COBIT 4.1 khususnya pada ME1 yaitu Pengawasan dan Evaluasi Kinerja . Framework COBIT 4.1 (Control Objectives for Information and related Technology), dapat menyediakan standar dalam kerangka kerja dari sekumpulan proses TI yang merepresentasikan aktivitas secara terstruktur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Menilai tingkat kematangan (maturity level), Menilai tingkat kesadaran dan harapan dan Membandingkan tingkat kematangan. Hasil penelitian tentang Management Awarness terlihat bahwa harapan menajemen terhadap kegiatan pengawasan dan evaluasi kinerja TI menurut COBIT sangatlah tinggi yang diharapkan untuk diterapkan dipengelolaan perpustakaan STIKOM Dinamika Bangsa yakni berada ditingkat sangat perlu 67,9%, perlu 29,8% untuk diterapkan dan 2,4% tidak perlu untuk diterapkan. Tidak ada satupun responden yang milih sangat tidak perlu 0%. Tingkat perolehan pengelolaan kegiatan 47,6% dikelola oleh bagian TI, 35,7% dikelola oleh bagian lainnya, 16,7% dikelola oleh pihak external.

Abstract

Learning technology has the main purpose to identify and solve learning problems. The learning problem-solving is very important because it is associated with an increase in the quality of learning. This increase can be reached by direct learning activities on three important aspects, namely effectiveness, efficient, and attractiveness. Especially at Vocational High School of Agricultural Development (SMK- PP) of Jambi yet available teaching materials that really is designed specifically for students learning SMK Negeri-PP Jambi. Learning materials have so far only in the form of a text book whose title manifold and skills unit package. Therefore, it was felt necessary to develop multimedia-based learning media. From the results of the study concluded that the information generated from the use of multimedia can be applied as a medium of teaching, because based on instructional materials in accordance with the existing material on-PP SMK Negeri Jambi.

Abstract

Office Business Religion (KUA) is one of society service center which giving service for society especially marriage registration. At KUA Sumay, the process of marriage registration has used a computerization but the use of computer is not maximal. It cause the data at this KUA become unorganized. Every organization need a good system to process every data into information and so this KUA. To make the data more organized, it is a necessity to design a new system. This new system expected to resolve the problem. So this research aim to design a new system of data processing. The methods used to support this research are observation, interview, library research, and laboratory research. The result of this research is an application which later can have a better system in organizing the data. The application built by using visual basic 6.0 and MySQL as its database.

Abstract

The research and development of this learning model aims to develop the APK model of the practical Information Systems Management (MPSI) lecture program, as a complement to the manual lecturing process conducted at STMIK Nurdin Hamzah. The APK model provides a learning menu consisting of Home content, MPSI Courses, Classroom Improvement Materials, Pre-Class Materials, Online Course. Each of these content consists of several sub-materials that describe the course material that will be studied by the students. Students can download APPS application of this MPSI, and to be able to use all facilities in this APK application, the student must first register as user of this application. Each student who signed up will get a username and password. This APK application has been utilized by students in the course subjects of MPSI, students give a positive response to this APK application. This APK application can be a prototype for other subjects.
