Abstract

This study aims to identify the dimensional structure of service quality perceived by customers of Richeese Factory in the Cikarang area using Factor Analysis. The research employed a quantitative approach involving 100 respondents selected through a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire comprising indicators of service environment quality, service effectiveness, service responsiveness, service credibility, and customer orientation. The data were then analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics. The results indicate that the research instrument was reliable, with a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.889, and suitable for factor analysis, as demonstrated by a Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) value of 0.930 and a Bartlett's Test of Sphericity significance value of 0.000. The factor analysis extracted one principal factor with an eigenvalue of 7.244, explaining 48.290% of the total variance. All indicators exhibited factor loadings exceeding 0.50, indicating that they were appropriate to be retained in the research model. Among these, service credibility showed the highest contribution, with a factor loading of 0.776. The findings suggest that service quality at Richeese Factory Cikarang is perceived as a unidimensional construct, with service credibility serving as the primary factor shaping customers' perceptions of the overall service quality.

Abstract

Abstract

This study analyzes the opportunities and threats of mung bean export from Indonesia to Filipina in 2025. Mung bean is a strategic agricultural commodity with high nutritional and economic value, contributing to both domestic consumption and international trade. This research applies a descriptive method using a mixed approach, combining quantitative data from Pusat Data dan Sistem Informasi Pertanian and qualitative analysis through literature review. The findings reveal that the Philippines presents significant export opportunities due to high domestic demand, limited local production, and growing food consumption, supported by regional cooperation within ASEAN, geographical proximity, and similar consumption patterns. However, challenges such as intense competition from other exporting countries, non-tariff barriers, price sensitivity, and inefficiencies in Indonesia’s supply chain remain critical constraints. In addition, global price fluctuations and changing trade policies contribute to export uncertainty. Therefore, improving productivity, product quality, supply chain efficiency, and market diversification is essential to enhance Indonesia’s competitiveness and sustain its agricultural exports in the regional market.

Abstract

This study analyzes the opportunities, threats, impacts of tariff increases, and solutions in Indonesia's electronic sector trade with Asian countries in 2025. The data shows that Indonesia experiences a significant trade deficit, where imports of electronic goods are much higher than exports. This condition indicates a strong dependence on foreign products, particularly from major producers such as China, Japan, and South Korea. Despite these challenges, Indonesia has opportunities to develop its role in the global supply chain, especially in the production of electronic components. However, several threats remain, including intense competition, low added value of exports, and limited technological capability. Furthermore, the implementation of higher import tariffs by Asian countries can reduce Indonesia's export performance and worsen the trade balance. To address these issues, strategic efforts are required, such as strengthening domestic industries, improving human resources, expanding export markets, and enhancing international trade cooperation. With appropriate policies and development strategies, Indonesia can improve its competitiveness and position in the electronic trade sector in Asia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of Indonesia’s dependence on soybean imports and to identify the factors influencing the national soybean import volume. As a country adhering to an open economic system, Indonesia continues to face a gap between domestic soybean consumption needs and domestic production capacity, making imports the primary solution to close this deficit. This research employs a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis, in which soybean import volume is positioned as the dependent variable, while domestic soybean production, domestic soybean prices, and the exchange rate of the Indonesian Rupiah against the United States Dollar serve as independent variables. The data used are secondary time-series data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and Bank Indonesia (BI). The simultaneous test (F-test) results indicate that the three independent variables jointly have a significant effect on Indonesia’s soybean import volume, with an F-value of 7.856 and a significance level of 0.009. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.652 indicates that 65.2% of the variation in soybean import volume can be explained by the model, while the remaining 34.8% is explained by factors outside the model. Partially, only the domestic soybean production variable is proven to have a negative and significant effect on import volume, meaning that an increase in domestic production can directly reduce import dependency. In contrast, domestic soybean price and the Rupiah–US Dollar exchange rate do not show a statistically significant partial effect. This study concludes that the root cause of Indonesia’s soybean import dependency is structural, namely the inability of domestic production to keep pace with rising consumption, so an integrated strategy to increase production is needed to strengthen national food self-sufficiency. Keywords: soybean imports, domestic production, food dependency, multiple linear regression, international trade

Abstract

Growing reliance on digital financial platforms has simultaneously widened the space for criminal exploitation, with fraudulent account creation and money laundering emerging as two of the most pressing threats in environments where identity screening remains inadequate. This study examines how the combination of Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and Electronic Know Your Customer (e-KYC) can serve as a concrete technological defense against these threats within Indonesia's digital financial sector. Drawing on a systematic review of academic literature spanning fraud examination, anti-money laundering frameworks, and digital verification technologies, and anchored to the provisions of Law Number 8 of 2010, this study traces the mechanisms through which OCR-based e-KYC addresses vulnerabilities at the earliest and most critical point of the financial access chain. Findings indicate that when OCR is embedded within an e-KYC framework, document data is extracted and cross-validated automatically at accuracy levels exceeding 95 percent, effectively neutralizing fake identity attempts before they reach the system. Integration with national identity databases further enables real-time detection of structuring patterns characteristic of the placement stage in money laundering. Challenges including deepfake manipulation and uneven digital connectivity across Indonesian regions require ongoing attention, yet the overall evidence positions OCR-based e-KYC as the most operationally viable path toward a more secure and trustworthy digital financial ecosystem.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of digital distraction, workload, and stress level on the academic performance of working students in the employee class program at Universitas Pamulang, both partially and simultaneously. This study employed a quantitative approach with an associative research design. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed to 101 active working students selected using a non-probability purposive sampling technique, and were subsequently analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics version 26. The classical assumption tests indicate that the regression model is normally distributed and free from multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity, making it suitable for hypothesis testing. The partial hypothesis test (t-test) results show that digital distraction (t = -5.655; Sig. = 0.000), workload (t = -2.836; Sig. = 0.005), and stress level (t = -5.670; Sig. = 0.000) each have a negative and significant effect on academic performance. The simultaneous test (F-test) yields an F value of 64.524 (Sig. = 0.000 < 0.05), indicating that the three independent variables jointly have a significant effect on the academic performance of working students. These findings suggest that higher levels of digital distraction, workload, and psychological stress experienced by working students are associated with lower academic performance. This study offers practical implications for students, educational institutions, and employers to develop time-management strategies, digital literacy, and stress-management interventions to support the academic success of students who play the dual role of employee and learner.
