Abstract

The integration of Islamic values ​​in the national curriculum is a strategic issue in the development of character education in Indonesia. Amidst the flow of globalization and technological advances, national education is faced with the challenge of maintaining national identity while responding to the needs of the times. This article aims to analyze the challenges of integrating Islamic values ​​in the national curriculum, especially in the context of the Independent Curriculum policy and the reality of multicultural education. Using a qualitative literature study approach, this article examines various national education literature and policies in the last five years. The results of the analysis show that the main challenges lie in the lack of pedagogical understanding of teachers, resistance to the integration of religious values ​​in general lessons, and limited contextual implementation guidelines. This article recommends the need for inclusive curriculum design, transformative teacher training, and strengthening collaboration between the government, educational institutions, and the community.

Abstract

The role of Islamic Religious Education teachers has a very important position in education, so that in this study the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in educating character at Al-Huda Middle School, Jatimulyo is described. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in educating character at Al-Huda Middle School, Jatimulyo. The method used in this study is a field research type reviewed from the method and level of discussion, so this study is classified as descriptive research. Data collection methods used in this study are interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study show 3 important parts of the teacher's role, namely teachers as educators such as role models in every movement of an Islamic religious teacher in their daily lives. The role of teachers as educators is implemented through teachers in speech; saying good and correct words, speaking gently and politely, teachers in deeds. The implementation of Islamic Religious Education Values ​​at Al-Huda Middle School Jatimulyo is implemented through the instillation of character values ​​such as congregational prayer, welcoming students at the school gate, becoming a prayer leader, social concern, which is seen when teachers raise funds for our brothers and sisters who are affected by disasters or calamities.

Abstract

Aqidah Akhlak through a literature review that focuses on lecture and discussion methods. In learning Aqidah Akhlak, choosing the right method is the key to success in delivering material and shaping students' character. The lecture method is effective for delivering basic information systematically, while the discussion method emphasizes more on active student involvement and the development of critical thinking skills. This article reviews various scientific literature to analyze the advantages, disadvantages, and relevance of both methods in learning Aqidah Akhlak. The results of the study show that the use of both methods in an integrated manner can provide more optimal results, with lectures as an introduction and discussions as a deepening of the material. These findings provide a theoretical perspective for educators in designing effective learning strategies.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of the scramble method to improve the Arabic language learning outcomes of class X students of MA Takhassus AlQur'an Wonosobo. The article is a quantitative field research with an experimental approach. The research was conducted during the months of March to May 2025, involving 54 respondents as samples including control and experimental classes, taking data from observations, tests, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research showed that the application of the Scramble learning method had been carried out according to the learning implementation plan, using pre-tests and post-tests in the experimental class went well and received positive responses from students. There was an increase in students' Arabic language learning outcomes after applying the method in the experimental class, as evidenced by the results of the hypothesis with a gain test obtained a result of 0.624 (high category), the control class obtained a gain test result of 0.079 (moderate category). Real effectiveness can improve learning outcomes proven through t-test calculations obtained t_count results of 11.591 and t_table of 2.006 at a 5% error level and 2.673 at a 1% error level with dk = 27 + 27-2 = 52. This finding strengthens the Scramble method can be considered to improve student learning outcomes. Research recommends that in the teaching and learning process, it is possible to plan and consider various methods in learning so that students feel interested and not bored..

Abstract

This study aims to examine the position of the Qur’an as a source of law in Islam with the ushul fiqh approach. The main focus of this study is the exploration of Islamic thought related to the development of Qur’anic law. The method used is a qualitative approach through library studies, where data is collected from primary and secondary sources. The results of the study indicate that the Qur’an has the highest authority in the Islamic legal system, is dynamic, and open to methodological interpretation. Thus. This study reveals that a contextual understanding of the texts of the Qur’an is very important to answer complex legal issues in the contemporary era.

Abstract

Profit sharing or known as profit sharing. This was done at the time of the Prophet Muhammad. In this country, we also often share profits, some with mudhorabah, musyarakah and other systems. To carry out profit sharing, several things are needed in order to get the benefits, firstly justice and honesty, secondly to avoid fraud, thirdly to avoid usury. This research uses a thematic method with regional coverage, the thematic method is in the following way; determine the theme, namely Profit Sharing in a Hadith Perspective, collect data on themes related to the title, provide a final code, analyze the data in the final code then describe the results of the data in the form of an outline. The sources of this data are primary and secondary data. The primary is dancing hadith from several diqital hadith such as Makabah Syamilah, sunnah.com and others. while the secondary is through literature. Profit Sharing is the sharing of profits from profits from companies, agriculture and others. In carrying out Profit Sharing, it requires people who have capital and people who manage it, and both of them must have an agreement, the results of the business they do will be calculated for sharing the results. Profit sharing has several types, namely: mudharabah, musyarakah, muzara'ah and musaqah and Profit sharing also has rules that we must pay attention to, namely; contracts, capital, sharing of results honestly and goods or funds to be managed must be clear.

Abstract

This article explores the political, religious, and socio-cultural dimensions of the Fatimid Dynasty's rule in Egypt, highlighting its unique contributions to Islamic civilization. The Fatimid Caliphate, which ruled from 969 to 1171 AD, represented a significant Shi'a Islamic power that challenged the dominance of the Sunni Abbasid Caliphate. The study analyzes the origins of the Fatimid dynasty, its establishment in North Africa, and its eventual relocation of the capital to Cairo, which became a vibrant center of learning and governance. Special attention is given to the administrative reforms, religious tolerance policies, and architectural advancements initiated by Fatimid rulers. Additionally, the article examines the tensions and conflicts both internally and externally that eventually led to the dynasty’s decline. By using historical and historiographical methods, this research aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of how the Fatimid Dynasty shaped the political and religious landscape of medieval Egypt and left a lasting legacy that can still be seen in Egyptian culture and architecture today.

Abstract

When Islamic philosophy is discussed, it is imagined that there are several figures who are called Muslim philosophers such as Al-Kindi, Ibn Sina, Al-Farabi, Ibn Rushd, Al-Ghazali, and so on. The presence of these figures is indeed unavoidable, because from them we can get to know Islamic philosophy, but also because in them the seeds of Islamic philosophy were developed. (Daulay & Dahlan, 2021) Sufism in Islam goes through various phases and conditions. In each phase and condition that it goes through, only some aspects are contained. Regarding the moral aspect, in the Qur'an there are many verses that encourage asceticism, patience, surrender to Allah, willingness, love, faith, simple living, and everything that is required of every Muslim as the perfection of faith. The Qur'an itself states that the Messenger of Allah is the best role model for those who want to perfect themselves with these virtues in their most noble form (alTaftazani, 2003, pp. 10-11). The thoughts of Sufi figures in the study of Sufism are very diverse in form and each Sufi has different characteristics even though the estuary is the same, namely towards al-Haq (Allah swt.). For example, Ibn Arabi with his concept of wahdat al-wujud, al-Halaj with the concept of hulul, Rabiah al-Adawiyah with the concept of mahabbah and many more.

Abstract

A discussion on Islamic morality and ethics is the purpose of this paper. We see many modern generations paying little attention to how to apply morality in their daily lives. Morals and ethics are human behaviours in daily life that have been instilled. Morals come from the Qur'an and the Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad and include what is good, bad, right, and wrong in one's actions. Meanwhile, ethics come from the culture and customs of the local community. In this paper, the author discusses the meaning of morals and ethics, human relationships with God, humans, and nature. Protest is a legitimate form of expression in a democratic society. In Islam, protest is also recognised as the right of everyone to voice injustice and bias. However, protests must also be carried out with ethics that are in accordance with Islamic teachings. The ethics of protest can be explained in the hadith, namely: Protests must be carried out peacefully and not violate the law. This is in accordance with the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, "Whoever sees an evil should change it with his hand. If he is unable, then with his tongue. If he is unable, then with his heart. And that is the weakest faith." (HR Muslim). In this Hadith, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) teaches that protests should be done in stages, starting with the lightest action, namely giving a direct response. If you are unable to do so, then you can protest verbally, for example by expressing your opinion or criticism through the media. If that is no longer possible, then protest can be done in the heart, i.e. still rejecting evil, but not taking actions that can lead to violence or riots. Protest must be based on truth and justice. This is in accordance with the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (saw), "Indeed, Allah is true and loves truth." (Narrated by Bukhari) In this hadith, the Prophet Muhammad (saw) affirms that protest must be based on truth and justice. This means that protest must be done because of real injustice, not because of personal or group interests.

Abstract

Conducive classroom conditions are an important factor in increasing student activity in the learning process, especially in Madrasah Aliyah (MA). Teachers have an important and strategic role in creating a learning environment that supports active student participation. This study aims to analyze the strategies implemented by teachers in building a conducive classroom and its impact on student activity. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that effective strategies include the application of an interactive learning approach, the use of varied learning media, the creation of a comfortable classroom atmosphere, and providing motivation and appreciation to students. By implementing these strategies, teachers can increase student involvement in learning, increase interaction between students and teachers, and build a pleasant and productive learning atmosphere. In conclusion, the application of the right strategy by teachers contributes significantly to creating a conducive classroom and increasing student activity at MA Hidayatul Islamiyah.
