Abstract

The process that is currently running at Parta trading companies, along with its development, problems that often occur in the warehouse section arise, namely the accumulation of stock of goods, there are even some stock items that are not available in the warehouse. This happens because the demand for goods from consumers is uncertain at any time, because the warehouse staff still use manual methods, namely making guesses in controlling stock checks and resulting in orders for stock of goods to be purchased that do not match the number of consumer needs at any time. In overcoming the problems experienced by Parta trading companies, the author built an inventory forecasting information system, where this system can assist in the inventory forecasting process which can calculate the estimated number of goods to be purchased based on previous sales data. Based on Black Box Testing, this system runs as expected. From the problems and solutions described above, a website-based inventory forecasting system was created with the ability to predict a product or item in the future, where this system plays a very important role in being used for stock availability in the warehouse at Parta trading companies.  This result of forecasting test was carried out by analyzing the sales of ceramic products sold at Parta trading companies for a period of 1 year and 12 months, where in the test using the 3-month method in month 12, the MAD error value was 100.66666666667, in the 4-month method in month 12, the MAD error value was 186, in the 5-month method in month 12, the MAD error value was 166.2, the 6-month method in month 12, the MAD error value was 160.619048.

Abstract

The 1945 Constitution regulated the distribution of scholarships to make access to better life opportunities easier. Nevertheless, in some universities the scholarship selection process still depends on conventional criteria to choose the beneficiaries of scholarships; no information technology or decision support system is in place to support the objective selection process. At SMA Negeri 1 Manggis, the application of the Multi-Objective Optimisation on the Basis of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) approach is predicted to improve the effectiveness and objectivity of the scholarship recipient selecting process. Weighting the criteria and normalising the decision matrix produces optimal alternative ranking when applying the MOORA approach to choose scholarship applicants. Following normalisation, a predefined algorithm is used to compute the optimisation value for every alternative student. For ten student possibilities, the computational results show the Yi (Max - Min) values. Then, using these values, one may create a final ranking of the best options, and scholarship recipients can be counselled on the three best options. It is expected that using the DSS approach

Abstract

Radha Krisna Savings and Loan Cooperative operates as an entity affiliated with Krisna Holding Company, more commonly referred to as Krisna Oleh-oleh. Although Radha Krisna Savings and Loan Cooperative has been in operation since 2010, it did not begin utilising a desktop application as its information system until 2014. This application has since been employed to facilitate a variety of transaction processes. The issue at the Radha Krisna Savings and Loan Cooperative is that the utilised application has begun to fail to support user requirements for transactions, as certain menus, features, user interface, and user experience continue to fall short of user expectations. In light of this issue, it is imperative to conduct an analysis of the collaborative application and construct a prototype that satisfies the diverse requirements of users, serving as a benchmark for the improvement of forthcoming applications. Utilising the Design Thinking method, prototype development consists of the following phases: Emphasise, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. Figma is the instrument utilised for prototyping. A User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) is administered to a sample of eight managers from the Radha Krisna Savings and Loan Cooperative as part of the testing phase. Based on the Benchmark Data, the average value for the attractiveness scale is 2.01 (Excellent), the average value for clarity is 2.31 (Excellent), the average value for efficiency is 1.91 (Excellent), the average value for accuracy is 1.81 (Excellent), the average value for stimulation is 2.06 (Excellent), and the average value for novelty is 1.94 (Excellent).

Abstract

Companies worldwide have a significant issue in the form of financial fraud. The repercussions are not limited to financial losses; they also encompass a decline in customer trust and harm to the company's standing. Manual fraud detection has become inefficient due to the intricate nature and high volume of transactions. Artificial intelligence (AI) is already a very efficient technology for detecting and preventing financial crime. This study assesses the efficacy of the Random Forest technique in identifying instances of financial fraud by analysing a dataset of 150 bank transactions. The necessary variation was created by simulating data collected from a hypothetical company's information system. The Random Forest model was trained using optimised parameters and evaluated on the test set. The model's performance was assessed using metrics such as accuracy, precision, and recall. The results demonstrate that AI, particularly the Random Forest algorithm, is highly efficient in accurately identifying fraudulent transactions. Additionally, the use of graph visualisation aids in highlighting patterns associated with fraud detection. The utilisation of line chart visualisation facilitates the comprehension of trends and patterns within the data, hence enabling the early detection and prevention of fraudulent activities.

Abstract

The e-commerce industry is experiencing rapid growth along with increasing consumer demand for fast, precise and reliable delivery services. Assessing the performance of goods delivery services is very important to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This research aims to develop a decision support model to assess the performance of goods delivery services in the e-commerce industry using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The AHP method was chosen because of its ability to resolve conflicting criteria through a pairwise comparison matrix and decompose problems, criteria and alternatives into a decision hierarchy. In this research there are 5 assessment criteria, namely Price (C1), Goods Packaging (C2), Goods Delivery C3), Service (C4), and Number of Branches (C5). Source of data from respondents obtained using questionnaire techniques. The research results show the final ranking of 4 alternative delivery services. From these results it can be explained that the highest criteria weight value in criterion C1 can influence the ranking results, because the AHP method is a criteria weighting method that takes into account criteria through a pairwise comparison matrix.

Abstract

Employee performance appraisal is very supportive in human resource management that affects various strategic decisions of the company, such as giving bonuses, benefits, and promotions. An objective and fair evaluation is needed to ensure that outstanding employees get the appreciation they deserve.  This research aims to apply the Rank Order Centroid (ROC) technique in determining the priority of assessment criteria. Using 5 main criteria used are productivity, quality of work, discipline, initiative and creativity, and teamwork. The Rank Order Centroid (ROC) method is used because it is easy to determine the weight of the criteria based on the order of the main priorities that have been determined by the decision maker. From the final results of ranking 5 alternatives to the 3 best alternatives, it can be analyzed that the C1 criterion really determines the final score because it is the criteria with the highest priority so that it gets the greatest weight and can affect the assessment results. The implementation of this technique is expected to support more precise and objective decision making and can facilitate decision makers in determining the parameters of the assessment criteria obtained based on the level of priority order of criteria and criteria attributes.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to develop an Internet of Things (IoT)-based temperature, humidity, and fire detection control system to monitor server rooms at INSTIKI. The research methodology employed involved the collection of primary data through interviews and observations, as well as secondary data through a comprehensive literature review. The system is implemented using a variety of electronic components, including the NodeMCU ESP32, the DHT22 sensor, the MQ2 gas sensor, the KY-026 flame sensor, the PZEM-004t sensor, the infrared emitter LED, the 20x4 I2C LCD, the buzzer, the 5V modules adapters, the step-down modules, and the SIM800l modules. The findings of this study illustrate that the devised system is effective in monitoring temperature, humidity, smoke, fire, and electricity in the INSTIKI server room. The monitoring data is displayed via a web platform, while warning notifications are sent via SMS and Telegram in the event of dangerous situations, resulting in a 100% success rate for notification delivery. The testing of the air conditioning temperature controls using SMS also achieved a 100% success rate. However, the efficacy of the IR Remote is contingent upon the distance and position of the Infrared Emitter LED in relation to the AC's receiver sensors, as well as the quality of the signal received by the GSM800l module.

Abstract

A robust system to support the learning aspect is a major concern at PT Bina Taruna Wiratama, a technology-based education company. To achieve this goal, the technology team is required to be able to develop the system quickly and with minimal bugs. Various aspects affect the programmer's ability to produce a high-quality system that is easy to develop further. One of the key aspects is system architecture, which serves as the initial foundation of a system. Currently, the frontend application is still developed as one large application, which causes the build time to be quite long, which is around 30-50 minutes. To overcome this problem, the author explores techniques that can be applied in frontend application development, one of which is the use of micro frontend architecture with run-time integration techniques. This study aims to evaluate how the implementation of micro frontend architecture can be applied to the Smart BTW application and to understand the advantages and disadvantages of the architecture. The implementation results show that the sub-project application can use different JavaScript framework versions, with a faster build time, on average 1-2 minutes, although the initial load is slightly longer, which is 2-3 seconds compared to the monolithic architecture.
