Abstract

Teknologi jaringan komputer saat ini menjadi kebuthan yang wajib ada di setiap instansi dan perusasahaan. Dengan adanya jaringan computer dapat membantu untuk meringankan pekerjaan manusia. Salah satunya adalah pada proses praktikum pada kampus STMIK STIKOM Indonesia. Banyaknyaaplikasi yang digunakan sertabanyaknyajumlacomputer padalab membuatproses maintenance memakan waktu yang sangat lama. Penelitian ini membuat dan menganalisa terminal server menggunakan server windows dan linux. Dengan adanya terminal server dapat mempermudah maintenance karena hanya dilakukan pada server. Adapun parameter yang diukur pada penelitian adalah penggunaan RAM (Random Access Memory), CPU (Central Processor Unit), Trafik, dan Disk pada server. Hasil dari penelitian adalah, penggunaan resource menggunakan server linux lebih rendah jika dibandingkan dengan server windows. Kemudian jumlah client menggunakan server linux lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan server windows.

Abstract

CentOS 8 is a popular operating system for servers, but will discontinue. The Oracle Linux 8 operating system was chosen as a replacement because this operating system has many similarities with CentOS 8 and is distributed by the same party, namely RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux). This study aims to compare the stability of the two server operating systems, as well as provide a reference for operating system users to choose a server operating system. CPU and memory tests were performed using SysBench software with the same number of threads, which were then recorded and compared. Cacti software is also used to compare CPU and memory performance in real time. The results showed that Oracle Linux 8 and CentOS 8 are two operating systems with different variances, although the kernels used by both operating systems are the same. Oracle Linux 8 can serve clients faster than CentOS 8 with a difference of 0.26 seconds.

Abstract

The rapid development of information systems has an impact on increasing data storage and processing needs. Data center is a facility that consists of computer networks and storage used by other businesses or organizations to organize, process, store and disseminate large amounts of data. Data center UPT SIMJAR STIKI Indonesia has a small size of computer room, without backup power supply, space construction and security systems that are not ideal. As a result of these conditions, the process of service activities of UPT SIMJAR was disrupted. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to standardize the data center so that good data center criteria are formed, namely availability, scalability / flexibility and security. The method carried out in this design is to analyze the requirements listed in the TIA-942 standard, and proceed with the design in accordance with the required criteria. The purpose of this research is to produce a data center design that complies with the TIA-942 standard for UPT SIMJAR STIKI Indonesia.

Abstract

Indonesian deaf people utilize SIBI to communicate using spoken words, gestures, facial expressions, and body language. SIBI, certified for Special Schools (SLB), helps deaf pupils communicate. This project implements SIBI (Indonesian Sign Language System) a real-time detection algorithm at Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri 1 Tabanan using image processing and YoloV8 ultralytics deep learning. The program trains a sign language gesture detection model on Google Colab's GPU. The SIBI sign language images were used to train a YoloV8 object detection model. The camera captures movements, which the YoloV8 algorithm trained on SIBI gesture data processes. It can recognize gestures in real time and generate text to non-sign language users. The dataset has 107 class vocabulary and 7 class affix prefixes for complete gesture recognition. Shirt color, room brightness, and webcam quality affect detection rates. Optimal detection accuracy is 87.74% and subpar 58.02%. Despite these limitations, the strategy helps deaf students communicate more effectively with non-sign language speakers. This program improves inclusivity and communication in schools, making learning easier for hearing-impaired pupils. This work provides a reliable and quick sign language identification system to help deaf educators and caregivers with daily interactions and education.

Abstract

The People's Economic System based on the values of the people and justice encourages the Indonesian people to participate in capital ownership. Cooperative Institutions, Village-Owned Enterprises, Regional Credit Institutions, Cooperatives, and Tourism Villages, most of whose capital is owned by the local community, can be evidence that the People's Economic System applies in Bali. The people's economy in Bali is a concept of economic development that emphasizes the empowerment of local communities and environmental sustainability. The purpose of this study is to focus on the concept of the People's Economic system in empowering regional financial institutions in Bali. The research method used is a literature study, with secondary data in the form of scientific articles and applicable regulations as data sources. Empowerment of financial institutions based on the People's Economic system is expected to be a priority in increasing national development. With the ideological spirit of the People's Economic system from stakeholders, regional financial institutions can develop and be able to help improve the economy in Bali

Abstract

In making this final project, it describes in detail the process of designing and building a telegram notification system for motorcycle accidents based on the internet of things. Before designing and building the system, a survey was conducted using the questionnaire and interview methods as the basis for the benchmark in designing and building the system. The purpose of this final project is to design and build a telegram notification system for motorcycle accidents based on the internet of things which is used to make it easier to obtain information when an accident occurs in a quiet place or an area that is common to motorists. The telegram notification system for motorcycle accidents has the main component, namely ESP32 as a microcontroller that can be connected to wifi, the accident detector of this system uses the MPU6050 sensor. The results of this final project, the system can run as expected, at the stage of testing the difference in the GPS comparison obtained can be categorized as successful, and the slope ratio has a difference that is almost the same as the standard clinometer tool, then the comparison of the A3144 sensor there is a difference obtained with the standard tachometer tool. And the system can send notifications when a motorcycle has an accident and the system is able to send information when Telegram users need it.

Abstract

Power BI merupakan alat analisis data yang populer dan powerful di era digital saat ini. Dengan kemampuannya untuk mengumpulkan, mengolah, menganalisis, dan memvisualisasikan data dengan mudah dan cepat, Power BI membantu pengguna dalam mendapatkan insight dan informasi yang berguna untuk pengambilan keputusan bisnis yang lebih efektif. Kerjasama antara institusi pendidikan, INSTIKI, dan perusahaan konsultan, Gama Consulting & Training, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam memanfaatkan Power BI untuk analisis data bisnis yang efisien dan pengambilan keputusan yang terinformasi. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan berbagai metode, termasuk penyampaian materi, diskusi, sesi praktek, dan penyebaran kuesioner. Hasilnya menunjukkan kepuasan peserta secara keseluruhan, dengan umpan balik positif terhadap materi yang disajikan. Studi ini merekomendasikan pelatihan lanjutan dengan fokus pada fitur-fitur yang belum tergali untuk mengoptimalkan potensi Power BI sebagai alat komprehensif dalam meningkatkan kinerja bisnis.

Abstract

Abstrak: Desa Sukadana, Kecamatan Kubu, Kabupaten Karangasem, Bali, adalah komunitas nelayan yang sangat bergantung pada hasil tangkapan laut. Namun, metode pengeringan ikan yang tradisional menghadapi berbagai tantangan, termasuk penurunan kualitas produk dan kerugian ekonomi. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, program pelatihan penggunaan alat pengering ikan berbasis IoT, yang dikenal sebagai DryFiTech, telah diimplementasikan. Alat ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan kebersihan proses pengeringan ikan dengan memanfaatkan tenaga surya dan sistem pemantauan berbasis cloud. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk membekali 38 nelayan atau mitra di Desa Sukadana, dengan keterampilan operasional dan pemeliharaan alat DryFiTech. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui observasi langsung dan wawancara untuk menilai keterampilan dan tingkat kepercayaan diri peserta. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa 80% peserta merasa percaya diri dalam menggunakan alat, 75% mampu mengatur suhu dan kelembapan, serta 70% dapat menjelaskan fungsi komponen alat. Program ini menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan mitra secara keseluruhan, yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan nelayan, mendukung perekonomian lokal, dan memberikan dampak positif yang berkelanjutan terhadap lingkungan pesisir.Abstract: Sukadana Village, Kubu Sub-district, Karangasem Regency, Bali, is a fishing community that relies heavily on marine catches. However, traditional fish drying methods face various challenges, including reduced product quality and economic losses. To address these issues, a training program on the use of an IoT-based fish dryer, known as DryFiTech, was implemented. The device is designed to improve the efficiency and hygiene of the fish drying process by utilizing solar power and a cloud-based monitoring system. The training aims to equip 38 fishermen or partners in Sukadana Village, with the operational and maintenance skills of the DryFiTech device. Evaluation was conducted through direct observation and interviews to assess participants' skills and confidence levels. The results showed that 80% of participants felt confident in using the equipment, 75% were able to regulate temperature and humidity, and 70% could explain the function of the equipment components. The program showed an overall improvement in partners' skills, which is expected to improve fishermen's welfare, support the local economy, and have a sustainable positive impact on the coastal environment.
