Abstract

This aiming For know influence method discussion and differentiated strategies to ability speak student in Indonesian language learning at Sendawar State High School. Background study This leave from low participation active and ability speak student in activity learning, which is suspected influenced by the approach lack of learning varied and not consider difference characteristics students. The method used in study This is quantitative with approach experiment quasi -experimental design, involving two classes as group experiments and controls . Instruments study in the form of test ability talk and sheet observation activity students. Research results show that implementation method combined discussion with a differentiated strategy give influence positive and significant to improvement ability speak students. Findings This show that approach adaptive and participatory learning capable increase skills communication oral student in a way effective in context Indonesian language learning.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal how gender construction is represented in Indonesian language textbooks at the junior high school level, using Sara Mills' critical discourse analysis approach. This method emphasizes the positioning of subjects(the party who holds the power to observe, evaluate, or describe) and objects(the party who is observed, evaluated, or described) within discourse and the power relations shaped through language. The analysis focuses on narratives, dialogues, and character representations in nationally used textbooks. The findings show a persistent gender bias, including male-dominated representation, stereotypical portrayals of female roles, and the positioning of female characters as narrative objects. These results suggest that textbooks continue to reproduce patriarchal social structures, despite some efforts to present gender equality. The study recommends curriculum revision and textbook author training to enhance sensitivity to gender equality issues. The method used in this study is qualitative, employing a critical discourse analysis approach.

Abstract

Many companies in Indonesia have adopted ISO 9001:2015 ( Quality Management System) but have not yet achieved the expected performance levels . The research aiming to assist companies in enhancing performance and Integration the implementation of Performance Management with the existing ISO 9001:2015 quality management system . The major phenomenon in this research is the declining company's performance despite implementing ISO 9001:2015. This research aiming to help companies develop a Performance Management system aligned with their business processes and corporate strategy . This research adopt a qualitative approach approach to data gathering and information through document observation and FGD interviews . The researcher found that companies have not had a system to deploy the company's strategy to all levels and how to measure it . The researcher also suggests that the company establish the integration model for implementing the 6.2, 7, 9, and 10 clauses of ISO 9001:2015. The integration with ISO 9001:2015 should be implemented for Sustainability Performance Management.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of indigenous food strategies and the role of local wisdom in Papua’s food sovereignty, Indonesia. Papua, known for its rich cultural diversity and unique ecological environment, has long depended on indigenous food systems that are in harmony with nature. These food systems, embedded in local traditions and customs, offer valuable insights into sustainable food practices. By utilizing a qualitative research approach, this study primarily relies on library research and a comprehensive review of existing literature to examine the interconnections between indigenous food strategies, local knowledge, and food sovereignty. The research identifies key indigenous practices that support food security, such as the preservation of traditional crops, resource management, and community-based food systems. It further highlights how these practices have been influenced by local wisdom and their potential to enhance food sovereignty in Papua amidst global challenges like climate change and food insecurity. The findings suggest that integrating indigenous food strategies with modern agricultural practices could offer a sustainable path forward for achieving food sovereignty in Papua. Moreover, the study underscores the importance of preserving indigenous knowledge as a means to strengthen resilience and self-sufficiency in the region. This research contributes to a broader understanding of the role indigenous food systems play in ensuring food sovereignty, with implications for policy-making and sustainable development in Papua and beyond.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technologies has significantly reshaped various industries, with tourism being one of the most affected sectors. This study explores the transformation of tourist villages in the digital era, focusing on innovative strategies aimed at enhancing the appeal of tech-based tourism. By integrating digital tools such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), mobile applications, and social media, tourist villages are increasingly able to attract tech-savvy travelers and offer immersive experiences. This paper examines the role of these digital innovations in revitalizing traditional tourist villages, improving visitor engagement, and creating new revenue streams. Additionally, it highlights how these technologies help preserve cultural heritage while offering modern solutions for marketing and customer service. The findings suggest that the digital transformation of tourist villages not only enhances their competitiveness in the global tourism market but also facilitates sustainable tourism practices. Ultimately, the study provides a comprehensive overview of the key strategies that can be adopted by local stakeholders to ensure the long-term success and sustainability of tourist villages in the digital age.

Abstract

This study explores Christian perspectives on environmental stewardship and examines their influence on sustainable living practices among believers. Utilizing a qualitative methodology through library research, the study draws upon theological literature, scriptural interpretation, and contemporary scholarly works to analyze how Christian beliefs inform environmental ethics and behaviors. The research investigates key biblical principles such as dominion, creation care, and stewardship, and how these concepts have been interpreted within various Christian traditions. Particular attention is given to how these theological views inspire practical engagement with sustainability, including lifestyle choices, advocacy, and community involvement in ecological initiatives. Through a critical analysis of theological writings and environmental discourses within Christian contexts, the study identifies both congruence and tension between faith-based teachings and contemporary ecological challenges. The findings suggest that Christian theology, when framed around responsible stewardship rather than exploitative dominion, can provide a strong moral and spiritual foundation for sustainable living. Moreover, denominational differences, cultural contexts, and levels of theological engagement significantly influence how environmental stewardship is understood and practiced. This research contributes to the growing body of literature on religion and ecology by highlighting how faith-based frameworks can support global efforts toward environmental sustainability. The study concludes by recommending further interdisciplinary dialogue between theology, environmental science, and policy to enhance faith-driven ecological awareness and action.

Abstract

The advent of the digital era has brought transformative changes across various sectors of society, including politics, religion, and culture. One of the most significant developments in this context is the transformation of Islamic democracy, particularly the evolving role of ulama (Islamic scholars) in shaping political discourse in the virtual public sphere. This study critically examines how Islamic democracy is being redefined in the digital age, with a specific focus on the participation of ulama in online platforms and their influence on public opinion and political engagement among Muslim communities. The research delves into the ways in which social media, digital forums, and online discourse provide a space for ulama to engage with a broader audience, facilitating the dissemination of Islamic political thought and contributing to democratic practices within Muslim societies. The study employs a qualitative approach, analyzing both primary data, such as interviews with ulama and key stakeholders, and secondary sources, including digital content, scholarly articles, and political discourse. It explores how the ulama have adapted to the digital landscape, balancing traditional interpretations of Islam with the dynamic and interactive nature of online communication. By doing so, the paper addresses critical questions about the potential of the virtual public sphere in promoting or hindering democratic values within Islamic societies, examining the balance between religious authority and democratic participation. The findings highlight the significant role of ulama in shaping public opinion, guiding political discourse, and fostering civic engagement in the digital realm. It also reveals the challenges and opportunities faced by Islamic scholars in navigating the complexities of digital communication while maintaining their religious legitimacy. Abstract

This study explores the role of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy in enhancing the quality of higher education in Indonesia. The primary objective is to evaluate the impact of MBKM on student learning outcomes, university-industry collaboration, and the overall effectiveness of higher education institutions in meeting the demands of the labor market. The research adopts a qualitative approach through a literature review, analyzing various academic journals, government reports, and case studies related to MBKM's implementation from 2017 to 2022. Data were systematically collected from reliable sources, and thematic analysis was used to identify key trends and patterns related to MBKM’s effects on educational quality. The study finds that MBKM significantly improves student engagement, employability, and the relevance of academic programs by facilitating practical learning experiences such as internships and research projects. The policy has also fostered stronger university-industry partnerships, enhancing student access to industry insights and career opportunities. However, challenges such as curriculum adaptation, resource disparities, and faculty resistance hinder its full implementation, particularly in rural and under-resourced universities. In conclusion, MBKM has made a positive contribution to the quality of higher education in Indonesia, but further efforts are needed to address implementation barriers. The findings suggest that a targeted approach to resource distribution and faculty training is essential for maximizing the policy's potential. Future research should focus on assessing the long-term effects of MBKM on graduate success and institutional development, ensuring that all students benefit equally from the policy.

Abstract

Halal food is not only a religious requirement for Muslims but also encompasses the principles of purity, wholesomeness, and quality, as emphasised in the Holy Qur’an (2:168). The growing global demand for halal meat underscores the importance of ensuring both halal compliance and food safety. This study examines halal audit procedures in Brunei Darussalam, focusing on their role in assuring the safety and quality of local and imported halal meat products. Employing a qualitative approach through document analysis and literature review, the research identifies significant gaps in current halal audit frameworks, including the absence of clearly defined Halal Critical Control Points (HCCPs) and insufficient integration of food safety and quality assurance within audit practices. Challenges such as cross-contamination risks and inadequate segregation in the halal meat supply chain further complicate assurance efforts. The findings highlight that existing audit tend to emphasise religious compliance while adopting a passive approach to food safety, potentially undermining consumer trust. Recommendations include developing standardized audit frameworks incorporating CCPs, enhancing auditor training, and strengthening monitoring and enforcement mechanisms. This study provides a foundation for future empirical research and contributes to improving halal assurance systems to meet both religious and consumer expectations for safe, high-quality halal meat.

Abstract

Mental health is a concern nowaday in workplace. For instance, psychological well-being owned by educational Personnel at Universitas Jambi. Psychological well-being is the ability to understand and accept one's qualities, have positive relationships with others, be able to live independently, be able to set goals in life and be able to adjust to the surrounding environment.  Support from the institution is needed so that employees can continue to be productive so that they still want to continue to be part of the organization or often referred to as organizational commitment. Therefore, this study aims to see the relationship between psychological well-being and the commitment of educational staff organizations within the University of Jambi. The subject of this study is all of education staffs at the University of Jambi with at least 1 year of teaching experience. Using the techiniques by Ryff in 1989, non-probability sampling techniques with purposive sampling techniques. Psychological well-being was measured by the psychological well-being scale (reliability 0.943) and organizational commitment was measured using the organizational commitment scale (reliability 0.813). The results of data analysis using Pearson Product Moment showed  a significant positive relationship (0.001 < 0.05) with a Pearson correlation value  of 0.429. This shows that when education staffs have increased psychological well-being, it will make their commitment to stay in the organization even stronger.
