Abstract

Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia (Kemendikbud) untuk pertama kalinya menyelenggarakan festival kebudayaan nasional bertingkat nasional, Pekan Kebudayaan Nasional. Humas pemerintah, khusunya humas Kemendikbud, melakukan publikasi dengan berbagai cara, salah satunya dengan siaran pers. Siaran pers dikonstruksi dan dibingkai sedemikian rupa agar Pekan Kebudayaan Nasional dapat dipresentasikan ke publik dengan kesan dan citra yang positif. Maka dari itu, peneliti ingin melihat bagaiam konstruksi framing Pekan Kebudayaan Nasional oleh humas Kemendikbud dalam siaran pers pada website kemdikbud.go.id. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori, konsep, dan metode framing dan menggunakan data berupa siaran pers yang terkait dengan Pekan Kebudayaan Nasional yang terdapat pada website kemdikbud.go.id. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan siaran pers dibingkai oleh humas Kemdikbud bahwa Pekan Kebudaayaan Nasional sebagai upaya Kemendikbud dalam agenda pemajuan dan ketahanan kebudayaan dengan menampilkan keberagaman kegiatan yang diselenggarakan. Dalam membingkai siaran pers, humas Kemendikbud, banyak menggunakan kutipan sumber dan juga fitur nonverbal untuk menggambarkan Pekan Kebudayaan Nasional.

Abstract

Instagram merupakan media sosial yang banyak diminati para remaja. Hal ini dikarenakan instagram lebih fokus pada foto dan video dibandingkan dengan media sosial lainnya. Hal ini memuncukan eksistensi pada setiap pengguna akun instagram lewat foto dan video yang menarik. Terdapat dalah satu faktor eksistensi diri yaitu angka pada akun instagram pengguna. Oleh karena itu hal ini menjadi latar belakang peneliti untuk meneliti. Pada penelitian ini teori yang digunakan yaitu sirkular teori. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh intensitas penggunaan instagram terhadap eksistensi diri pada siswa-siswi SMK Telkom Jakarta. Variabel Independen penelitian ini yaitu intensitas penggunaan instagram, variabel dependen penelitian ini adalah eksistensi diri. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa-siswi di SMK Telkom Jakarta yang aktif menggunakan aplikasi instagram. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 90 responden dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu Formula Slovin. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survei dengan menggunakan teknik Analisis Regresi Linear Sederhana. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa intensitas penggunaan instagram berpengaruh secara positif dan kurang signifikan terhadap eksistensi diri, hal ini dapat dilihat dari pengolahan data, angka signifikansi menunjukkan sebesar 0,000 yang berarti < 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa intensitas penggunaan instagram berpengaruh terhadap eksistensi diri. Atau Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Untuk nilai koefisien determinasi (RSquare) sebesar 0,253 yang mengandung pengertian bahwa pengaruh Intensitas penggunaan instagram terhadap Eksistensi diri adalah sebesar 25,3%, yang berarti termasuk dalam pengaruh kategori rendah.

Abstract

This research reports findings about (i) social learning of norms and institutional rules about students ideal character, and (ii) group formation and normative behaviour among cooperating individuals within group. Researchers interviewed a number of sources and studied institutional documents, spread questionnaire to population of lecturers and conducted purposive sampling to students of Faculty of Humanities, University of Al-azhar Indonesia, and reviewed cases of students groupwork in a few courses held by English Language and Culture Study Programme. This research finds lecturers and students share the same idea about students’ ideal character; the idea tends to refer attitude and soft skills. However, the knowledge is not attained via social learning that transmits the idea as cultural information. This research finds group formation consequently establishes expectation of cooperative behaviour among the group members. Violating the expectation leads to social and institutional punishments. This research exemplifies an initial attempt to scrutinize cultural transmission and evolution in university.

Abstract

n Indonesia, the impact of internet development which is characterized by the surging internet users in the country reached 88.1 million people, has been forcing PR pro­ fessionals to be able to master the technique of imaging through various online media plat­ forms. They demand not only media relations skill, but also master the technology of the In­ ternet and communication via various online platforms. It’s intended to strip the challenges and opportunities of public relations practitioners in facing the dynamics of the digital era in Indonesia, and the conclusion are the digital world in Indonesia is an ideal means for Practitioners PR to conduct his homework by targeting young people and workers. Addi­ tionally, social media is the most effective online platform to touch these circles. Thus, to captivate internet users in Indonesia, Indonesia PR practitioners must master at least five basic tools that include website Online PR; Online press releases; e-newsletter; blog; as well as social media. Furthermore, PR practitioners are also required to be able to optimize the Internet as a PR new media because of a convergence that runs between the PR and the digital era can build profits as well as new opportunities for the company.

Abstract

Leaders' communication style in motivating the work of members in social organizations is important because it is a method used by leaders in expressing their authority and is implemented and communicated to organize and carry out the management of the organization they lead. Managing organizations that are social in nature is not easy because the members they lead are also social, in contrast to organizations such as governments or companies that have a fixed salary so that the application of rules and policies is easier. In social organizations, communication is one of the influences on the smooth running of the organization. The purpose of this study was to determine the style of organizational communication carried out by the leaders of the Bengkulu Citizens Association, Jabodetabek, in motivating the work of organizational members (especially administrators) so that the organization continues to exist and develop, and to find out the factors that make it successful and which hinder it in running the organization. The method used in this research is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Primary data collection used interviews with key informants, namely the chief executive of the Jabodetabek PWK and several members (administrators) as supporting informants. Secondary data is collected by way of observation and documentation. Data analysis uses the analytical model proposed by Miles and Huberman, namely the interactive model, where the steps taken are: data reduction; presentation of data; drawing of conclusions; and data verification. Testing the validity of the data using source triangulation and technique triangulation The results showed that the communication style used by the PWK Jabodetabek leadership organization was the equalitarian style, marked by the existence of a two-way flow of message distribution and leaders' concern for and ability to establish good relationships with subordinates in personal matters and in other spheres.

Abstract

The implementation of Government Public Relations (GPR) in the Integrated Social Welfare Data Program (DTKS) in Petukangan Utara Subdistrict is an important step to increase the effectiveness of the program. DTKS, a government initiative to integrate data on beneficiaries of social welfare programs, aims to ensure that aid is distributed on target. In this context, GPR plays a key role in conveying information, overcoming misperceptions, and encouraging community participation. Delivering clear information through public information campaigns, dialogue forums and mass media is an important strategy in implementing GPR. By establishing partnerships with the media, the government can voice the aspirations of the community while providing accurate information. Training and mentoring are also important in ensuring that the community can make good use of DTKS data.

Abstract

Film is a part of mass media. Film is a medium for entertainment yet give infor- mation for the audiences. As a mass media, film also give effects for the audiences, one of which is fanaticism. Cosplay is a form of fanaticism that is done by fans of a certain movie. Cosplay is an action of imitating characters from cartoons, comic books, or movies. In or- der to cosplay, fans can create their own alter egos and show it at certain moments. Alter ego is the other-self. This research aimed to acknowledge how the alter ego of fans which are members of the Star Wars fan communities was formed. The conceptual frameworks which been used in this research were Mass Media, the Mass Media Functions, Types of Massa Media, Film, Film Characteristics, Types of Movie, Movie Genres, Types of Movie’s Character, Culture, Fandom Culture, Alter Ego, Id, Ego & Superego, and Symbolic Interac- tionism. This research used constructivism paradigm with qualitative method. In-depth in- terview with purposive sampling as the method of selecting the informants. The informants are Star Wars fans and members of Star Wars fan communities. The informants also has their own alter egos. The result of this research shows that the fans wanted to feel as a part of Star Wars world with characters of their own creation. They are able to interact socially and comprehended the character of another human beings. The fans wanted to be a differ- ent character against their original. They created their own alter egos for their cosplay.

Abstract

The phenomenon of closing cinemas during the Covid-19 pandemic changed the kebiasaans of some people in watching films. In the current new normal era, cinemas are gradually recovering to attract interest in watching amidst the rise of video streaming. This study aims to analyze the marketing communication strategy using Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) at the Platinum Cineplex Cibinong Square cinema in attracting interest in watching amidst the rise of video streaming and to find out what obstacles and solutions are encountered in implementing the integrated marketing communication component. This research combines emic and etic perspectives. The data collection technique in this study was by conducting in-depth interviews, field observations, and checking the validity of the data using source triangulation.. The results in this study indicate that the integrated marketing communication strategy at the Platinum Cineplex Cibinong Square cinema in attracting interest in watching amidst the rise of video streaming uses eight promotion mix components, namely, (1) direct marketing, (2) sales promotion, (3) public relationss, (4) personal selling, (5) advertising, (6) word of mouth marketing, (7) events and experiences, (8) interactive marketing.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the Human Relations Strategy in Realizing Zero Accident (Case Study on HRD PT. Grand Pintalan Textile) by analyzing the strategy using the POAC strategy (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling). The research uses organizational control theory. The selection of informants was done by the purposive sampling method. Research data was obtained by data collection techniques with in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. This research uses the post-positivism paradigm, a qualitative approach with a case study method. The big concept used is the POAC management concept from G.R Terry. The results of this study show that the HRD Strategy of PT. Grand Pintalan Textile to achieve zero accidents is carried out with four strategies consisting of simple, technical, bureaucratic, and conservative supervision. Besides that, PT. Grand Pintalan Textile implements the POAC strategy through the Human Relations Department. This POAC strategy can be seen from the activities carried out by the Human Relations Department which include knowledge of what to do (planning), determining how to do it (organizing), understanding how they should do it (actuating), and measuring the effectiveness of the efforts that have been made. (controlling).

Abstract

The development of the digital world has made Telkomsel strive to present a CSR concept and became a role model in digital literacy education in Indonesia through the concept of Digital Citizenship Education (DCE). CSR can be applied to digital ecosystem users with several aspects, such as awareness of digital behavior, digital information access rights, digital safety, and digital content & creativity. The theory used in this research is CSR theory according to Carrol (2016) and Image Theory according to Philip Kotler in Gasing (2016). The research method used is quantitative research with descriptive quantitative research type and research methods using surveys. The instrument used in this study used a questionnaire with thirty-five statement items, which were given to 88 respondents from 720 populations using a simple random sampling system. The data collected during the study was conducted and processed using SPSS version 24 for accurate calculations. The results showed that there is an influence between the “Internet Baik” CSR program on Telkomsel's corporate image with a coefficient determination (R2) is 0.518. The coefficient determination shows that it has a enough positive effect but a certain correlation between the CSR Internet Baik program carried out by the Telkomsel. This result shows that Telkomsel's Internet Baik CSR program can make society more positive in the digital world.Keyword : Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Telkomsel, Image.
