Abstract

For This study aims to describe the implementation of thematic learning to development of civic disposition through and the obstacles encountered in the school group II, Sukorejo sub-district, Pasuruan district. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of phenomenology. The subjects in this study were students in class V, class V teachers, and school principals. Data collection uses observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results showed that: First; Implementation of thematic learning in Gugus Sekolah II, Sukorejo sub-district, Pasuruan district, developed 8 indicators of citizenship character namely; (1) moral responsibility, (2) self-discipline, (3) respecting the dignity and human dignity of each individual, (4) community spirit; (5) manners; (6) respect for the rule of law; (7) critical thinking; (8) and desire to listen. Second; obstacles in analysing the implementation of thematic learning towards the development of civic disposition, namely: (1) difficulty in conducting assessments by class teachers, and (2) lack of support and attention from the environment of students.

Abstract

Sience literacy is an understanding of science and its application in solving problems. In scientific literacy there needs to be assistance from the teacher in its application so that learning can run with five different ways. Scientific literacy is also found in science or science. Natural science discusses everything about nature, be it abiotic or biotic. People who practice IPA are calles scientists. So literasi of science is everything or ability in application related to science that is implemented or applicated in everyday life. In already required to be. With everydays in the 21st century teaching, students are required to be independent. Because in education in the 21st era, learning is mode focused on students. Education in the era of the 21st centur is the gateway to the advancement of education in Indonesia because technological developments are developing rapidly and rapidly so that it can afeecteverydays life and is no expection in terms of learning.

Abstract

Implementation of online learning makes students become bored so that it has an impact on student learning outcomes. Through the application of the learning model in CAR research, it is hoped that it can improve student learning outcomes. The purpose of this PTK research was to (1) describe the effect of the problem-based learning model (PBL) during the pandemic on students' science learning outcomes, (2) improve science learning outcomes during the pandemic for fifth grade students of UPT SDN 26 Prambangan, Kebomas District, Regency. Gresik Academic Year 2020/2021. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method with the type of classroom action research (PTK). The design of this study used the Kemmis and Mc. Teggart. The research was conducted in the even semester of the 2020/2021 academic year, namely March- April. The PTK research subjects were grade 5 students of SDN 26 Prambangan, Kebomas District, Gresik Regency with a total of 11 students consisting of 5 male students and 6 female students. The object of research is the learning outcomes of students. Data collection techniques used in the study were observation, tests, and documentation. CAR is carried out in two cycles through planning, acting, observing and reflecting. Data were analyzed descriptively and presented in the form of a bar chart. The results showed a significant increase in science learning outcomes, namely in the pre- cycle amounted to 63.64%, the first cycle was 81.82% then in the second cycle it increased to 90.9%. This means an increase of 9.08%. Thus the use of the PBL model during a pandemic can improve the science learning outcomes of grade V students of UPT SDN 26 Prambangan, Kebomas District, Gresik Regency

Abstract

The research has the aim of improving student learning outcomes before and after applying the ethnomathematic based PBL model in mathematics lessons. This research was conducted at SDN Juwet Kenongo, Porong District, Sidoarjo Regency. The type of research used is classroom action research (PTK). The method used in this study was a research by Kemmis and Taggart which used a spiral system cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The sample in this study were students of class V as many as 14 students. The research instrument used observation sheets, interviews, and questionnaires with evaluation tests. For quantitative data analysis, it is processed using statistical formulas, while qualitative data analysis is carried out by describing all available data from the observation sheet. The results showed that the mathematics learning outcomes of students using the ethnomatematic based PBL model in class V had increased. It is shown that the average grade V mathematics learning outcomes are 50% and the results of the observation data analysis are 80% because learning using the PBL model can improve student mathematics learning outcomes, so it is hoped that the teacher can apply the learning

Abstract

The pandemic COVID-19has caused learning to be conducted online to minimize face-to- face interactions so that PGSD students experience limitations in implementing basic teaching skills. The purpose of this study is to measure the effectiveness of themethod lesson study in equipping PGSD students who are able to develop learning planning tools, but have never practiced teaching because of thepandemic COVID-19. This research is a descriptive qualitative research that is based on data during observation and application. In this study using themethod lesson study which is classified as action research. This research consists of three stages, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage, and the reflection stage. In the application of lesson study, students work in pairs and take turns as model teachers and observers . The result of this study is to prove that themethod lesson study can effectively train basic teaching skills for PGSD UTM students.

Abstract

The use of learning media in schools is not optimized so that the motivation and attention of students when attending lessons is still low. Based on the daily test scores obtained, the class completeness is only 72.28. Therefore, the authors try to overcome these problems by utilizing learning media, through classroom action research (CAR). This study aims to describe the implementation of learning by utilizing Picture and picture learning media and to describe the increase in activities and learning outcomes of class VIIA students of SMP Negeri 6 Purwodadi. For this reason, this research design uses classroom action research whose activities consist of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting which are divided into two cycles. The subjects of this study were students of class VIIA SMP Negeri 6 Purwodadi Odd Semester 2018/2019 academic year as many as 32 students. Research data obtained by observation and test methods. The results showed that the use of Picture and picture in learning can increase student activity and learning outcomes. From the results of the action, the average value of student learning outcomes in cycle I was 79.91 and cycle II 83.56. This shows that the use of Picture and picture can improve student learning outcomes. For this reason, it is recommended for teachers to develop the ability to apply using learning media during learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this research in general is to make improvements. The specific purpose of this research is the purpose of this Counseling Guidance Action Research is to increase learning motivation through group counseling services for class VII G students of SMP Negeri 2 Purwodadi semester 2 of the 2018/2019 academic year. This research is included in the type of action research with the design of Guidance and Counseling Action Research (PTBK), the purpose of this research is to make improvements. This Guidance and Counseling Action Research (PTBK) was carried out on class VII G students of SMP Negeri 2 Purwodadi in the even semester of the 2018-2019 academic year with two cycles, the number of students in this class was 32 children consisting of 16 boys and 16 girls, school location on Jalan P. Diponegoro No. 26 Purwodadi Grobogan, Central Java. The data analysis technique uses 1) descriptive qualitative, 2) descriptive comparative followed by reflection, the research procedure uses four stages in each cycle, namely planning or action planning, acting or carrying out actions, observing or observing, reflecting or reflecting. The results showed that there was a significant change, both seen from the results of the action and the service process, namely an increase in learning motivation which in the initial condition of students whose learning motivation was in the category of less than 11 students or (34.38%) and in the final condition in the second cycle there was less. 2 students or ( 6.25% ).

Abstract

This study aims to improve discussion text writing skills using diorama media in class IXE students of SMP Negeri 1 Gabus. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) by taking the subject of class IXE students at SMP Negeri 1 Gabus. This research was conducted in the 2019/2020 school year, starting from January 2020 to March 2020. Writing discussion text skills were measured based on the percentage of achievement scores in writing discussion texts. The research implementation procedure was carried out in two cycles. The implementation of the actions in the second cycle emphasizes the aspects of the improvement that are not optimal in the first cycle. Data collection techniques are in the form of observations, tests, and documentation of learning activities in the form of photos. The criteria for the success of the action are in the form of improving the process and results of students' discussion text writing skills using diorama media. The success of the process can be seen from the increase in enthusiasm and attitudes of students in participating in learning. The success of writing skills is measured based on the achievement score of the discussion text writing aspect of 80. The results of the study obtained that the improvement of discussion text writing skills can be seen based on the students' test results in the pre-action with an average score of 53.94, the first cycle with an average score of 66.25 and in the second cycle the average score was 85.15. An increase in the number of discussion text writing skills scores from pre-action to cycle I of 12.31 and an increase in score from cycle I to cycle II of 18.90. Judging from the qualitative score, the frequency of students' scores in each cycle has increased quite well. So, it can be concluded that the use of diorama media can improve the skills of writing discussion texts for class IXE students of SMP Negeri 1 Gabus.

Abstract

This comparative study research aims to analyze the improvement of learning outcomes and analyze the effectiveness of the use of WhatsApp Group and Google Classroom Learning Media on learning outcomes. This quantitative approach is used to determine the increase in learning outcomes. The trial was carried out on 63 students at SMP N 1 Gabus, class IX F there were 32 students using WhatsApp Group and class IX G there were 31 students using Google Classroom. Data were collected by observation and documentation. The data on the effectiveness of learning media were analyzed with gain, normality, t-test at a significance level of 0.05. The results of the comparative study of class IX F at the first meeting the average acquisition is 83, the second meeting the average acquisition is 85, the third meeting the average acquisition is 87, the fourth meeting the average acquisition is 90. In class IX G meeting 1 the average acquisition 84.2 , meeting 2 an average of 85.5 , meeting 3 an average of 87.7 , meeting 4 an average of 90.5 . Based on the calculation of N-gain, obtained an increase in the results of the pre-test and post-test of class IX F of 0.67 in the medium category. Regarding the results of calculations in class IX G, there is an increase in N-gain with a score of 0.70 in the high category with an average pre-test score of 84 and post-test scores of 91. The significance value is 0.000 < = 0.05, which means there is a significant difference between the posttest mean so that H1 is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR) model, and to increase student interest and learning outcomes through the application of the Auditory, Intellectual, Repetition model, especially on social change material. The Auditory, Intellectual, Repetition (AIR) learning model is a learning model that combines three aspects, namely auditory (learning by listening), Intellectually (learning by thinking and solving problems) and Repetition (repetition for more effective learning). The research subjects were students of class XII IPS 4 at SMAN 1 Tengaran, Semarang Regency in the academic year 2022/2023. From the results of data analysis showed a significant increase in student interest in learning. This can be seen from the results of observations that the indicators of feeling happy have increased from 72% to 89%, interest in learning from 72% to 88%, attention to learning from 76% to 92% and student engagement increased from 66% to 86%. In addition to increasing interest in learning, the application of the Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR) model also shows an increase in learning outcomes. The classical completeness level before the action only reached 47%, increased to 74% in cycle 1 and 100% during cycle 2. While the average learning outcomes increased from 71.9 before the action, to 79.9 in cycle 1 and 84.6 in cycle 2
