Abstract

Reading is an important thing to cultivate. Especially in the current information era, reading is a necessity for everyone. Education in Indonesia refers to the concept of learning throughout life (life long education). This concept means that throughout life humans continue to learn and one of the efforts that can be made in learning is reading. This service aims to develop and utilize libraries that already exist but are not yet running optimally as an effort to increase children's interest in reading. The library is a library located in Begendeng village. Begendeng Village is one of the villages located in Jatikalen District. This service activity uses the PAR method. In this activity, the servant carries out 5 stages of implementation, namely to Know, to Understand, to Plan, to Action, and to Reflection. The result of this service activity was the re-functioning of the library in Begendeng Village. Apart from that, children are also more enthusiastic and go to the library more often to read.

Abstract

Self-confidence is a positive evaluation of oneself, including attitudes towards personal beliefs and abilities in facing life as well as a comprehensive view of oneself. Self-confidence shows a positive assessment of an individual's competence or skills. Therefore, holding a counseling guidance training for PIK M cadres to increase self-confidence. The objectives to be achieved in this research are: (1) increase cadres' understanding of self-confidence, (2) cadres can have self-confidence, (3) can solve problems experienced by cadres in terms of lack of self-confidence through counseling guidance. Researchers use the Service learning method with three stages: planning stage, implementation stage, reflection stage. The solution given is to give appreciation to the cadres, suggesting that they continue to practice, increase their reading and vocabulary. The results of this training show that the implementation was carried out from start to finish, cadres already understood what self-confidence is like, and there were several cadres who were able to prove their self-confidence by appearing to speak in public

Abstract

Public awareness of the polio vaccine for toddlers in the Mataram area in 2023 is still at 30.2%, or 2,645 children (the lowest in NTB). To address this issue, behavior change intervention components must be further developed. In the context of field communication, health cadres need to be equipped with more innovative communication techniques as the front line. For this purpose, continuous training such as the Training of Communicator (ToC) with an Interpersonal Communication Approach (KAP) needs to be provided to health cadres to enhance their communication skills and medical knowledge. The goal of this service is to equip cadres with techniques to build closer, trusting, and understanding relationships to facilitate educating and persuading residents, to provide cadres with techniques for explaining immunization issues in ways that are easily understood by the general public, and to equip cadres with techniques to lock in commitment and build habits so that long-term behavior change can occur. The success rate of the service activity is 90%, based on the KAP method indicators of participant engagement at every step and happiness during the training. This can be observed from the beginning of the training in the morning until the end, with health cadres always laughing and not feeling sleepy or weak. They are also committed to taking action with KAP in the community. They returned home smiling and expressed gratitude for the communication knowledge imparted

Abstract

Pembinaan dapat diartikan sebagai suatu usaha pendidikan yang dilakukan secara sadar, terencana, terarah, dan bertanggung jawab, baik dalam bentuk formal maupun nonformal, untuk menumbuhkan, membimbing, dan mengembangkan aspek-aspek dasar dari kepribadian, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan secara seimbang, utuh, dan harmonis. Bakat dan kemampuan yang dimiliki diharapkan menjadi modal untuk menambah, meningkatkan, dan mengembangkan diri, sesama manusia, serta lingkungan, menuju pencapaian individu yang memiliki harkat, kualitas, dan kemampuan, serta kepribadian yang mandiri. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hafalan surat-surat pendek dan memperluas pengetahuan dalam membaca Al-Qur'an bagi santri, dengan harapan dapat memberikan kontribusi besar dalam mengajarkan kemampuan membaca dan menulis Al-Qur'an. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga mendukung perkembangan jiwa anak dengan memberikan pengetahuan mengenai ibadah, iman, dan akhlak. Materi yang diajarkan tidak hanya fokus pada pembinaan dan tahfidz Al-Qur'an, tetapi juga mencakup tahsinul qira’a (perbaikan bacaan). Secara umum, langkah pertama dalam mempelajari pelafalan Al-Qur'an adalah dengan belajar mengucapkan huruf-huruf hijaiyah dengan benar, yang sering dikenal dengan istilah tahsinul quran.

Abstract

Keterampilan Public Speaking atau berbicara di depan sangat umum bermanfaat bagi Siswa-siswa dalam proses pengembangan diri. Namun, banyak siswa yang merasa kurang bahkan tidak mampu berbicara di depan umum karena kurang percaya diri, tidak menguasai materi, atau tidak paham bagaimana melakukannya. Keterampilan Publik Speaking pada anak harus dibina, dilatih dan dikembangkan secara terus-menerus, begitupula pada Kader-kader Pustu dan Posyandu Desa Pationgi. Kondisi tersebut menjadi dasar dilaksanakannya program kerja Pelatihan Publik Speaking yang diikuti oleh siswa kelas 9 SMP SATAP 2 PATIONGI yang berjumlah 18 siswa, dan pelatihan Publik Speaking pada Kader-kader Pustu dan Posyandu Desa Pationgi yang diikuti 15 kader. Pelatihan Public Speaking ini dikemas dengan tujuan membangun kepercayaan diri berbicara di depan umum, memahami materi yang akan disampaikan, serta mampu menerapkan teknik Public Speaking. Pelatihan Public Speaking ini dilakukan dua kali, pertama dilakukan di sekolah dan yang kedua dilakukan di balai Desa Pationgi. Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi dan luasnya jangkauan internet diberbagai kalangan di Indonesia mengakibatkan potensi positif dan negatif di lapisan masyarakat dengan tingkat literasi yang rendah. Konten yang beredar di media sosial juga kian beragam dan kreativitas diperlukan untuk mendapatkan perhatian atau interaksi yang baik dari audiens. Tentunya perkembangan ini membawa dampak dan risiko tersediri bagi remaja pada khususnya sebagai pengguna internet dan teknologi. Untuk mencegah atau mengurangi risiko penggunaan media sosial yang membahayakan penggunanya secara moral dan fisik, maka diperlukan pemahaman literasi media sosial yang memadai. Pelatihan ini dilakukan di balai Desa Pationgi yang diikuti oleh kader-kader Desa Pationgi dengan jumlah peserta 15 Kader. Literasi media sosial ini bertujuan agar kader-kader dapat lebih bijak, kreatif dan seimbang terhadap penggunaan media sosial mereka. Adapun hasil dari pelatihan Publik Speaking yang dilaksanakan di sekolah SMP SATAP 2 PATIONGI beberapa siswa sudah ada yang mampu memberanikan diri untuk tampil di depan teman-temannya, dan pada pelatihan literasi media sosial pada kader,kader-kader dalam aktif proses tanya jawab bagaimana teknik dan bagaimana seorang pengguna media sosial yang bijak.

Abstract

The development of Kindergartens (TK) and Al-Qur'an Education Parks (TPA) is a strategic effort in shaping the character and religious knowledge of children from an early age. This development activity includes teaching to read the Qur'an, understanding morals, fiqh, and Islamic history with fun interactive methods, so that children can learn enthusiastically. The results of the development show an increase in religious understanding in children which has a positive impact on individuals, families, and society. However, challenges such as differences in children's characters require a special approach from teachers so that development runs effectively. With good management and effective communication between managers and teachers, TK/TPA development can create a young generation that is academically intelligent, has noble morals, and has a strong understanding of religion.

Abstract

This mentoring aims to improve the ability to read the Qur'an well. The target of this activity is 12 female students. The mentoring method is carried out using the qiro'ah and talaqqi methods. Providing solutions to problems that occur by implementing the Qiro'ati learning method. The results of the Qiro'atil method tahsin mentoring program at the Manimpahoi Qur'an House run effectively and have a real positive impact on improving the quality of the students' reading of the Qur'an. This activity not only strengthens the technical ability to read, but also forms a character of love for the Qur'an from an early age. The tahsin mentoring program using the Qiro'atil method at the Manimpahoi Qur'an House has had a significant impact on improving the students' ability to read the Qur'an. Through a systematic and continuous approach, the participants showed progress in the aspects of letter pronunciation, tajwid, and reading fluency. The Qiro'atil method applied has proven effective in forming the habit of reading the Qur'an correctly according to the rules, especially for beginner students or those who still have shortcomings in reading. In addition, this mentoring also strengthens the students' enthusiasm for learning through a humanistic, personal and motivational approach from the mentors

Abstract

The training of the art of reading the Qur’an is one of the efforts to improve the ability to read the Qur’an properly and correctly according to the rules of tajwid. This activity was carried out as part of the Proffesional Real Work Lecture (KKN-P) in Matajang Village, Kahu District, Bone Regency. This program aims to increase children’s interest and skills in the art of reading the Qur’an through the tilawah method. The method used in this study is Participation Action Research, abbreviated as PAR. This method directs researchers to try to connect with the agenda of change in the mindst of society in creating the expected condition through active community participation. The results of the study showed that children exprerienced a significant increase in reading the Qur’an with rhythm, and were more confident in public. In addition, this activity also encouraged community involvement, especially parents, in supporting religious education for their children. With this program, it is hoped that the Qur’an tilawah training can continue to be carried out sustainably to foster a generation of high-achieving Qur’anists

Abstract

Da'wah is a religious duty that requires every Muslim person to play a role in inviting or calling others to the right path. In preaching, it takes courage and confidence to appear in public. Therefore, public speaking skills are very necessary, especially for children who have the desire and courage to appear in public. One way that can be used to build children's public speaking skills is to conduct da'wah training from an early age, including training to deliver lectures. This training was conducted at the kindergarten / TPA in Erabaru village and aims to help develop children's skills to dare to appear in public speaking and train students to foster self-confidence, In this training, the method used is the method of approach and motivation. The approach methods used include observation, socialization, implementation of activities and evaluation. The result of this training is that some students are brave and confident to appear to deliver lectures and try to memorize lecture scripts so that they can be smoother when performing in front of their friends.

Abstract

Public speaking merupakan salah satu soft skill yang harus dimiliki oleh seseorang. Dengan kemampuan public speaking yang dimiliki, ia akan dilihat sebagai pribadi yang berkualitas. Karena public speaking tidak hanya diperlukan oleh mereka yang berprofesi sebagai pembicara publik seperti guru ataupun dosen, begitupula pada siswa SMP Negeri 1 Patimpeng. Dengan diadakannya pelatihan public speaking ini akan menjadi acuan bagi siswa yang akan melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi dengan bermodalkan public speaking yang baik. Tujuan diadakannya pelatihan ini diharapkan mampu membangun kepercayaan diri siswa berbicara di depan umum, memahami materi yang akan disampaikan, serta mampu mengaplikasikan teknik Publik Speaking. Kemampuan untuk memahami, mengakses, menganalisis, mengevaluasi, dan menyampaikan informasi dalam bentuk konten media sangat penting agar tidak terbawa oleh arus informasi yang menyesatkan dari pesan yang meresap di media massa dan digital. Pada dasarnya media massa tidak hanya memberikan informasi dan hiburan tetapi juga mengajak khalayak untuk mewakili pesan-pesan yang direkam oleh pembacanya.
