Abstract

Nutritional issues in toddlers remain a public health challenge in Indonesia, particularly related to stunting, malnutrition, and feeding patterns that do not comply with the principles of balanced nutrition. The lack of knowledge of mothers as primary caregivers is one factor contributing to inappropriate child feeding practices. This activity aims to improve the knowledge of mothers of toddlers regarding balanced nutrition through health education at the Pagerejo Village Integrated Health Post (Posyandu). The method used is a participatory educational approach through interactive counseling, discussion, and evaluation using a pre-test and post-test design. The activity was carried out on February 18, 2026, at the Pagerejo Village Health Post (Ponkesdes), involving 30 mothers with toddlers aged 0–5 years. The material provided included the concept of balanced nutrition, the "Isi Piringku" principle, toddler nutritional needs, the importance of animal protein, and stunting prevention. The evaluation results showed an increase in the average knowledge score from 58.6 in the pre-test to 79 in the post-test, with a percentage increase of 34,8%. In addition, participants showed high enthusiasm during the discussion session and expressed a commitment to implementing a balanced nutritional diet at home. The conclusion of this activity is that balanced nutrition education at Posyandu (Integrated Health Post) is effective in increasing the knowledge of mothers of toddlers and has the potential to encourage changes in more appropriate child feeding behavior. Continued education and the active involvement of health cadres are necessary to maintain the program's sustainability.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang sistem pendekatan dalam pengelolaan lembaga pendidikan Islam, dengan fokus pada penerapan sistem pendekatan dalam pengelolaan Perguruan Islam Mathali’ul Falah. Lembaga Pendidikan Islam merupakan organisasi yang mengembangkan pendidikan Islam melalui program kegiatan yang terorganisir dengan baik. Prinsip-prinsip pendidikan Islam meliputi : pembelajaran sebagai kewajiban, pendidikan sepanjang hayat, pendidikan berorientasi dunia, pendidikan integralistik, sesuai dengan fitrah manusia, demokratis, ilmiah, dan bermutu. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pendekatan sistem dalam pengelolaan lembaga pendidikan Islam pada Perguruan Islam Mathali’ul Falah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelituan Perguruan Islam  Mathali’ul Falah mempunyai pendekatan sistem dalam pengelolaan pendidikan, metode pengajaran, model bevaluasi, dan struktur kepemimpinan yang terorganisir dengan baik. Kelebihan dan kelemahan sistem pendekatan dalam pengelolaan Perguruan Islam Mathali'ul Falah diantaranya adalah penggunaan perhitungan Hijriyah, waktu Istiwa', kurikulum mandiri, tidak melaksanakan Ujian Nasional, tidak menerima Dana Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS), sistem evaluasi pembelajaran berbasis dalam jangka waktu empat bulan, hafalan sebagai syarat kelulusan, tulisan arab, peraturan kemahasiswaan yang ketat, penggunaan nomenklatur Direktur dan Wakil Direktur, serta ruang kelas yang kurang memadai. Perguruan Islam Mathali’ul Falah mempunyai keunikan dan perbedaan dengan sekolah atau madrasah lainnya.

Abstract

Hypertension is a crucial global health challenge often referred to as the silent killer due to the absence of obvious early clinical symptoms and the low level of patient awareness regarding their condition. This condition necessitates strong preventive measures at the grassroots level through massive and continuous health education. This community service activity aims to improve public health status through in-depth education on the dangers of hypertension and to build a commitment to lifestyle changes through the CERDIK behavior guidelines. The activity was conducted in the polyclinic waiting room of the Gedeg Community Health Center (Puskesmas Gedeg) from February 20 to 21, 2026, involving a target audience of 40 adult and elderly patients. The implementation approach focused on health promotion and prevention through interactive two-way lectures, which were reinforced by visual stimuli using leaflets. The program's achievement and success levels were evaluated using pre-test and post-test questionnaire instruments. The results showed a predominance of female participants (60%), with a diverse age range between 20 and 82 years. There was a significant increase in the participants' average score, rising from 70.25 before the intervention to 91.75 after the health education. Evaluation calculations indicated a 30.6% increase in knowledge and material absorption. In the post-test results, all participants (100%) successfully reached the "Good" knowledge category, shifting drastically from the pre-test results where the majority were still in the "Sufficient" category (45%). In conclusion, this educational activity effectively and tangibly improved participants understanding of the definition of hypertension, its risk factors, complication prevention, and the application of the CERDIK lifestyle.

Abstract

Household waste, particularly organic kitchen waste, frequently poses environmental challenges if not managed properly, as observed in Tegalweru Village. The "GreenCycle" program aims to provide practical education and skills to PKK (Family Welfare Movement) members in transforming kitchen waste into Liquid Organic Fertilizer (LOF). The methodology employed includes theoretical socialization, practical demonstrations of LOF production using simple composters, and a two-week fermentation monitoring period. The results indicate a significant increase in community understanding regarding waste segregation and organic fermentation techniques. The positive impact includes a reduction in the volume of waste disposed of into the environment and the creation of self-sufficient fertilizer for residents' home gardens. This program is expected to continue independently to support family food security and village environmental sustainability.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus Type 2 (T2DM) is a chronic metabolic disease and remains a major public health problem in Indonesia, particularly among the elderly population. Community-based preventive efforts through health education are essential to reduce the incidence and complications of T2DM. This community service activity aimed to improve knowledge, awareness, and preventive behavior regarding T2DM through health education among elderly residents in Windurejo Village, Mojokerto Regency. The target participants were elderly individuals who are at high risk for T2DM and its complications. The method used was participatory health education employing booklet media, interactive discussions, question-and-answer sessions, and evaluation through pre-test and post-test questionnaires. The material covered the definition, risk factors, signs and symptoms, management, prevention strategies, and diabetic foot exercise. The activity was conducted on February 27, 2026, with 30 participants. Evaluation results showed a significant increase in knowledge, indicated by the proportion of correct answers rising from 55% in the pre-test to 93% in the post-test. Several modifiable risk factors were identified, including high sugar intake, low physical activity, obesity, and family history of diabetes. In conclusion, health education effectively improved elderly knowledge and awareness regarding T2DM prevention and encouraged healthy lifestyle practices. Continuous community-based education programs are recommended to support sustainable diabetes control efforts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Product quality , Online shopping experience, and Brand image on Customer loyalty through Customer satisfaction as a mediating variable among Kaylaa_ Kids consumers in Payakumbuh City. The population in this study consists of all Kaylaa_ Kids consumers who have purchased products. The sample size used was 100 respondents, with the sampling technique employing purposive sampling, specifically consumers who had made at least two purchases. The data used in this study is primary data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires using a Likert scale. Meanwhile, secondary data was obtained from reference books and internet sources. The analysis method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS) with the help of SmartPLS software. The results of the study indicate that Product quality, Online shopping experience, and Brand image have a positive and significant effect on Customer satisfaction and Customer loyalty. In addition, Customer satisfaction has been proven to mediate the relationship between Product quality, Online shopping experience, and Brand image on Customer loyalty among Kaylaa_ Kids consumers in Payakumbuh City.

Abstract

This qualitative study explores school principals' perceptions of AI integration in secondary public schools in SDO Pangasinan II through five structured open-ended prompts (SOPs), yielding four recurrent themes across visionary ideals, hopes, observed experiences, challenges, and essential supports. Principals envision AI-driven schools as transformative environments enabling personalized learning, automated administration, data-informed leadership, and ethical human-centered education, while expressing hopes for efficiency, inclusivity, and innovation alongside fears of job displacement, dehumanization, data privacy breaches, and overreliance. Current experiences highlight enhanced teaching efficiency and student engagement tempered by concerns over academic integrity and adjustment anxieties, with major barriers including inadequate infrastructure, training gaps, ethical risks, budget limitations, and policy voids. Findings highlight a paradox in readiness regarding AI in education, where strong enthusiasm for its potential exists alongside significant infrastructural gaps and ethical concerns. These elements call for ongoing professional development, substantial technological upgrades, supportive Department of Education (DepEd) policy frameworks, and partnerships among various stakeholders to ensure equitable implementation. Insights derived from secondary school principals resonate with global trends, promoting a balanced and future-focused approach to AI, particularly in resource-limited settings. This aims to formulate strategic plans that tackle existing challenges and facilitate equitable and accessible AI integration in public secondary education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the direct influence of customer experience dimensions, comprising cognitive, affective, relational, and sensorial experience, as well as brand image, on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty among Kopi Kenangan mobile application users in Jabodetabek. Primary data were collected from 226 active users through an online questionnaire using purposive sampling and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4.0. Of 11 hypotheses tested, 9 were accepted. Cognitive experience emerged as the strongest predictor of satisfaction (β=0.297), followed by brand image (β=0.254), affective experience (β=0.191), and relational experience (β=0.161). Relational experience exerted the largest direct effect on loyalty (β=0.187), while customer satisfaction was the overall strongest loyalty predictor (β=0.273). Sensorial experience was non-significant in both paths, indicating its transition to a hygiene factor at the current stage of app maturity. These findings offer actionable implications for digital F&B companies in optimizing customer experience design and brand management.

Abstract

Permasalahan utama sektor pertanian di Padukuhan Pucung, Kalurahan Pucung, adalah tingginya ketergantungan petani pada pestisida kimia sintetis yang memicu pencemaran lingkungan serta biaya operasional yang mahal. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Padukuhan Pucung dalam memproduksi pestisida nabati secara mandiri menggunakan potensi lokal berupa daun sirsak dan daun pepaya. Metode pelaksanaan program mencakup sosialisasi bersama Penyuluh Pertanian Lapangan (PPL) dan workshop praktik langsung yang meliputi teknik ekstraksi dengan blender serta proses fermentasi selama satu minggu. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa seluruh anggota KWT mampu menguasai teknik pembuatan dan memahami mekanisme kerja senyawa aktif acetogenin serta papain dalam mengendalikan Organisme Pengganggu Tanaman (OPT) secara efektif. Dampak dari program ini adalah terciptanya efisiensi biaya input pertanian sebesar 15-20% serta meningkatnya kesadaran akan pentingnya sistem pertanian berkelanjutan. Simpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah pemberdayaan wanita tani melalui inovasi pestisida organik berbasis tanaman lokal mampu menjadi solusi ekonomis dan ekologis bagi masyarakat agraris.

Abstract

This study investigates how well the digital learning platform KooBits works to improve collaborative learning in arithmetic classes in primary schools in the Philippines' Siargao division. The study uses a qualitative research approach and conducts a thematic analysis using data from focus groups, interviews, and classroom observations. The dynamics, difficulties, and advantages of using KooBits in teaching methods are revealed by this analysis. The results show that KooBits dramatically increases student zeal and engagement, turning disengaged pupils into engaged learners. This shift fosters a lifelong passion for learning in addition to improving academic performance. Moreover, KooBits fosters student collaboration by motivating even the most introverted kids to participate and communicate in the classroom. This change fosters critical abilities like communication, teamwork, and conflict resolution in a more dynamic and inclusive learning environment. The study does, however, also point out several serious difficulties, chief among them being the scarcity of essential digital tools and dependable internet connectivity. Due to the learning challenges caused by the digital divide, students may feel unfairly treated and excluded. The study also reveals a growing gap between the requirements of modern students—who are more receptive to interactive and technologically assisted instructional approaches—and traditional lecture-based methods. In summary, although KooBits successfully alters the dynamics of the classroom and student involvement, it also emphasizes the necessity of fair access to digital resources and a change to more interactive teaching approaches to meet the changing needs of today's students.
