Abstract

The main character's education is carried out in the family. Because the family is a role model for children to be able to develop their potential and build their character, the role of the family is very important to shape the child's character to be good or bad. The author describes the role of the family in shaping the character of children, using descriptive analysis so as to know the principles of education in the family. The conclusion of this research is that the process of building character in the family can be done in various ways, one of which is through habituation, giving good examples, advice, punishment and motivating children. The achievement of the character education process in the family can be maximized if the children, parents and the environment are mutually sustainable.

Abstract

The use of essay tests is a solution that can be done by a teacher in reducing cheating behaviour in Islamic religious education and morals subjects. The focus of the problem in this study is whether the use of essay tests can reduce students' cheating behaviour in class XI IPA 2 at SMA Negeri 1 Sangatta Selatan. The method used in this research is a class action research method by adopting the Kemmis and Taggart Spiral models. The purpose of this study was to determine the reduction of students' cheating behaviour through the use of an essay test in class XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Sangatta Selatan. The results showed that when viewed from a comparison of the cheating behaviour of XI IPA 2 students, the percentage of cheating behaviour in cycle 1 was 83% and decreased in cycle 2 by 33%, it can be said that the use of an essay test can reduce students' cheating behaviour in Islamic religious education subjects and manners of class XI IPA 2 SMAN 1 South Sangatta. Thus, learning by giving assignments based on descriptive tests has a significant impact on reducing or reducing students' cheating behaviour.

Abstract

Student motivation has little effect on students' understanding of Islamic religious education subject matter and the success rate of teachers' teaching. Likewise with the accuracy of the selection of learning methods used by the teacher. This study aims to increase student motivation by applying the discussion method to Islamic religious education learning materials. The method used in this research is a class action research method. The location of the research was conducted at DDI North Sangatta Islamic Middle School. The results showed a significant increase after the action was taken with an average daily score of 88.6, a daily test score of 86.6, a practice score of 84.5, and a portfolio score of 87.7. This improvement is inseparable from changes in the methods used in the learning process, where previously the teacher's actions used the lecture method.

Abstract

Al-Qur'an is a guide to life for Muslims. Memorizing and reading the Qur'an is one of the suggestions commanded by Allah SWT to the people of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. For those who read one letter of the Qur'an, he will get 10 goodness. The purpose of this research is to find out the importance of learning the Koran, Fadhilah reading the Koran, the method of memorizing the Koran and the application of the muroja'ah method in memorizing the Koran. The method used in this research is the library research method. The result is that the application of the muroja'ah method in memorizing the Al-Qur'an is very easy to do so we are happy to memorize the Al-Qur'an. In this method, we not only memorize verses of the Qur'an, but we also know the contents of the verses of the Qur'an so that it is easier to implement in everyday life. In our opinion, this method is very helpful for those who want to memorize the Al-Qur'an so that it is easier, insha Allah.

Abstract

There are fewer and fewer people who understand the theory and practice of treating corpses. This can be found when there is a deadly accident, people have difficulty caring for corpses. Therefore an understanding of corpse care needs to be instilled from school age to the next generation. This study aimed to increase students' understanding of corpse care material using the demonstration method at SMA Negeri 1 North Sangatta. The method used in this research is a class action research method. The results show that the use of the demonstration method can increase students' understanding of corpse care material. This was marked by an increase of 25%, from 70% to 95% after the action was taken. In addition, students' enthusiasm for learning increased during learning when using the demonstration method. Furthermore, the demonstration method can also provide new experiences and give a deep impression to students because they directly demonstrate the care of corpses.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the concept of social relations and efforts to strengthen social relations in the midst of social life. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a type of library research. The results showed that social relations are interactions and relationships between individuals or groups in society that involve the way people interact, influence each other, and form bonds with other people in their social environment. The efforts that can be made to strengthen social relations in the community are: Effective communication; Empathy and mutual understanding; Respect for diversity; Collaboration and partnership; and Active Participation. Strengthening social relationships takes patience, understanding, and a commitment to building positive bonds with others. By being actively involved and practicing the values of mutual respect and cooperation, we can strengthen social relations in society.

Abstract

Shaping the character of students towards better personalities is not an easy thing, especially in today's sophisticated era with the use of technology and information such as gadgets. This is certainly a challenge for Al-Qur'an education. This research was meant to analyze the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the “Tahfizh Menginap” program as an effort to habituate the religious character of the students at Rumah Ridhotullah Sangatta Qur'an Sangatta Utara. This research used a qualitative approach with descriptive research type, where the data described by the author is data obtained through unstructured interviews. The result is that the Tahfizh Menginap Program is designed and structured by involving educators, students, and of course various learning materials. In its implementation, the Tahfizh Menginap program teaches students a lot about daily practices that students hope to practice in their daily lives. Finally, some students already have a brave, independent attitude, and always implement the knowledge they have acquired in their daily life. Meanwhile, some others are still trying and trying to be able to do the same thing. For this reason, educators need to evaluate this program so that in the future it can be even better

Abstract

Curriculum developments continue to be made in the world of education, especially in the assessment system. The curriculum currently being implemented in Indonesia is the 2013 curriculum, better known as K13. In K13, the evaluation applied is based on HOTS (High Order Thinking Skills). The implementation of HOTS-based evaluation in learning aims to ensure that learning outcomes can motivate students to develop their thinking abilities so that they can think creatively and innovatively. This article discusses it conceptually with the aim of providing knowledge about the concepts, characteristics, and steps in preparing HOTS-based assessments, especially for educators. The steps for preparing a HOTS-based evaluation are: (1) analyzing the basic competencies that will be made in a HOTS-based assessment; (2) compiling an assessment grid that is in accordance with the basic competencies that have been analyzed; (3) linking them to interesting problems in daily life; (4) writing it in the form of questions; and (5) creating scoring and assessment guidelines and answer keys.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the management of educational institutions in online learning, which includes planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. Online learning problems and solutions, so that with good management, it is hoped that educational institutions will be better prepared and more effective in implementing online learning. This research is qualitative, with a focus on examining documents related to educational institutions and documents related to online learning, such as research reports, journals, books, magazines, and other literature. As a result, educational institutions manage online learning, starting with planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating to ensure a good, effective, and efficient teaching and learning process. Problems faced by teachers include weak IT mastery and limited access to student supervision. Students are less active in participating in learning due to limited supporting facilities and internet network access, and parents have limited time to accompany their children when studying online. These various problems can be overcome by increasing competence in mastering IT, intensive supervision involving the role of parents, and giving manual tasks.

Abstract

Over the past few decades, existing learning theories have evolved rapidly, bringing about significant changes in the way education is understood and implemented. The aim of this research is to conceptually analyze the basic concepts of educational science, the implementation of modern learning theories, and the implications of applying modern learning approaches in the educational context. The approach method used in this research is a qualitative approach with a type of library research. The research results show that the basic science of education, which includes principles, theories, and fundamental concepts in education, plays a very important role in the development of modern learning theories. The implementation in the context of modern learning theory, the basic science of education guides the development of learning approaches and strategies that are more effective and relevant to the demands of today's society and technology. The implication is to help educators, policymakers, and educational practitioners design learning approaches that are more effective and relevant to today's context. This research provides a valuable contribution to understanding the complex relationship between the basic science of education and modern learning theory, as well as encouraging the development of educational science so that it remains relevant in facing changes in the dynamic world of education.
