Abstract

The existence of Gang Hikmah on Jalan Hidayatullah Sangatta Utara as an urban environment with a diversity of communities and local cultural values is an interesting research arena for understanding the dynamics of the relationship between society and local culture. In this context, the role of local culture in shaping social interaction becomes important for understanding identity and social integration. This research aims to answer key questions, including: What is the relationship between society and local culture in Gang Hikmah Hidayatullah Sangatta Utara? What is the process of social interaction between the community and local culture in Gang Hikmah Hidayatullah, Sangatta Utara? What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in social interaction between the community and local culture in Gang Hikmah Hidayatullah, Sangatta Utara? This research uses descriptive and qualitative research methods. Research data was taken from observations, interviews, and documentation. The results of research at Gang Hikmah Hidayatullah Sangatta Utara show that local culture in Gang Hikmah has a significant impact on the community's social interaction patterns. Factors such as cooperation, local culture, and communal activities are positive drivers for strengthening social ties. However, there are societal gaps in social interaction caused by individual busyness or work, which creates obstacles to creating balanced relationships.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the concept of management and development models for Islamic boarding schools, as well as the application of management models in the development of the Al-Munawwir Sangatta Selatan Islamic boarding school. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. The research results show that the development of Islamic boarding schools is a process that involves various aspects to improve the quality of education in Islamic religious educational institutions (Islamic boarding schools). The application of management models in the development of Islamic boarding schools can increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Islamic religious education institutions, in this case the Al-Munawwir Sangatta Selatan Islamic Boarding School. Several relevant management models, including performance management models, change management models, risk management models, and operational management models, have been grouped, adopted, and applied into four models, namely: performance management models, change management models, risk management models, and operational management models. Thus, the Al-Munawwir Islamic boarding school has implemented management models in its development by adopting Agranoff and McGuire's integrative collaborative management model

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the principles of language politeness in Islam. This research uses literature study (library research), to obtain theoretical data regarding language politeness in Islam. The data sources used in this research are secondary, mostly using books and reputable scientific journals. The results of this research show that, in the Qur'an, the command to maintain language is symbolized by the words qaulan (spoken or spoken). Maintaining oral or spoken language is generally seen as the basis for politeness in language because the tongue is the main tool for interacting between fellow humans in various interests and situations. Guarding your tongue is the main basis for polite communication. Every human being has the responsibility to guard his tongue by speaking good words and for good purposes, the principle of politeness in Islam is shown by several terms in the Koran such as Qaulan sadidȃ: 'Qaulan Layyina, Qaulan ma'rufa.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the concepts of participatory management, the application of participatory management, and the optimization of the management of educational institutions through participatory management. The method used is the library research method. (Library Research). Research results show that the concept of participatory management is an approach in the management of educational institutions that involves the active participation of all members of the educational institution in decision-making, planning, implementation, and evaluation processes. As for implementation through joint decision-making, collaborative teams, empowerment of teachers and students, open communication, and the involvement of parents and the community, optimizing the management of educational institutions is done by strengthening the engagement and motivation of all stakeholders, improving the quality of decision-making, accelerating response to change, and creating a dynamic and responsive learning environment. By empowering teachers, students, parents, and administrative staff, participatory management can create opportunities for greater collaboration and more student-oriented decision-making.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the importance of PAI learning, the challenges faced in the learning process, and the relevance of the development of learning strategies in the context of Islamic education. The method applied in this research is the method of library research with steps: identifying research topics, identifying keywords, searching for literature, scrutinizing literature, analyzing literacy, writing literature summaries, and drawing conclusions. As a result, the importance of PAI learning in the context of education is not only limited to theological understanding but also covers important aspects in the formation of Muslim individuals who are characteristic and contribute positively to society. As for the challenges in the learning process: less relevant use of technology, integration of Islamic values in less-favorable lives, and less conducive learning environments. While the relevance of strategic analysis in the PAI learning process can increase student learning interest and material understanding, as well as the presence of positive changes in student behavior and attitudes, The hope is that this research can make a significant contribution to the development of more effective learning strategies in PAI learning.

Abstract

This study is carried out to find out the effectiveness of applying wordbrain game as learning media to improve students vocabulary mastery in english. This study used quasy experimental recearch with nonequivalent pre test pos test control group design. The population of this study was the second year student of smpn 5 sikur in academic year 2023/2024. The samples are divided in two groups, experimental group and control group. The data of this study is collected by applying 3 steps those are pretest, treatment and post-test of vocabulary. Pretest and posttest are used to find out whether wordbrain can be used to improve students’ vocabulary mastery in English. In analyzing data, the researcher used statistical procedures (mean score test, gain score test and T-test formula for test result). Based on the data analysis T-test result, it is showed that the value of T-test is higher than T-table which means that T-test value is significant. According the data, it can be conlcluded tha the use off wordbrain as learning media to improve student vocabulary masteri in english  is efective siginficantly.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze English teachers' understanding of the syllabus, its application in the learning process, and the obstacles in the context of implementing the independent curriculum. The method applied in this research is a qualitative-descriptive method. Data analysis uses the Miles Huberman analysis model. There were six informants for this research. This research was carried out at SDI Mutiara Islam Al-Ittiba, East Kutai. The research results show that the majority of English teachers have a sufficient understanding of the content and objectives of the Independent Curriculum syllabus. Teachers can measure the competencies that must be taught and prepare learning plans based on the syllabus. Meanwhile, implementation in the learning process is carried out by teachers developing or selecting teaching materials that are in the Independent Curriculum syllabus, encouraging the use of active and collaborative learning approaches, evaluating student achievement on an ongoing basis by the standards set in the syllabus, and reflecting on the learning process. that has been carried out and the evaluation results obtained. The obstacles in implementing the Independent Curriculum identify several obstacles faced by teachers in implementing the Independent Curriculum syllabus. Factors such as limited resources, a lack of adequate training, and a lack of clarity in curriculum implementation guidelines are the main obstacles to maximizing the potential of this curriculum. It is hoped that this research can make a positive contribution to efforts to improve the quality of English language teaching and learning in Indonesia.

Abstract

The focus used as the best practice is the social inquiry model to improve eco-literacy attitudes in the environment surrounding social studies learning material with environmental sub-themes for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 03 Sorek One for the 2023/2024 academic year. The goal to be achieved is through a social inquiry model to improve students' eco-literacy skills and to increase the quality of awareness from an early age to reduce waste so that when they grow up they can change their mindset that waste must be minimized and no longer use the collect-transport-dispose paradigm. and burn. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with an experimental type. The result is that students' eco-literacy attitudes have increased to a very good predicate. This indicates that the eco-literacy program implemented in schools has had a positive impact on students' understanding and awareness of the environment. With this improvement, it is hoped that students will be more concerned and responsible for the surrounding environment and be able to play an active role in preserving nature. It is also hoped that awareness of the importance of the environment will have a positive impact on the sustainability of ecosystems and life on Earth. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide valuable insight for educators in designing more effective learning strategies to prepare a generation that cares about the environment.

Abstract

The development of a community-based education management model is not a separate entity from the community. However, on the contrary, Islamic educational institutions should be an integral part of society, and be able to respond to society's needs and aspirations. This research aims to analyze the community-based management model in developing Islamic educational institutions. The method used in this research is the library research method. The research results show that the community-based education management model is an approach to managing educational institutions that emphasizes the active role of the community in the decision-making process, program implementation and evaluation of educational outcomes. The application of the community-based education management model in developing Islamic educational institutions can be done through: community participation, involvement of parents in children's educational activities, integration of local and religious values ​​through learning, partnerships with local communities by involving the community in developing educational programs, curricula community-based through collaborative efforts between various educational institutions, and ongoing evaluation. It is hoped that this model can become the basis for the effective and efficient management of Islamic educational institutions, and be able to answer the challenges of an increasingly complex era.

Abstract

Education is a complex social phenomenon influenced by various social, cultural, and economic factors. It cannot be separated from sociology, which studies society. This is because education has the ultimate goal of advancing society. Therefore, the sociological foundation becomes an important component to be studied and applied in education. This article elaborates on the sociological foundation in education, the goals and functions of sociological foundation in education, as well as society's views on education as observed from State Senior High School 1 Kaliorang. The aim of this article is to enhance understanding and implementation of sociological foundations in education to create a unified identity in teaching towards improvement. The article is investigated through qualitative methods including interviews, documentation, and observation, which are then organized according to critical analysis to obtain appropriate data. The research results itself show positive impressions regarding the success of the researched school in integrating sociological foundations into its educational system despite being in a multicultural environment.
