Abstract

Low Back Pain (LBP) or Lower Back Pain (NPB) is a health problem that is often encountered in society. Almost 70-80% of people in developed countries have experienced LBP. Every year 15-45% of adults suffer from LBP, and one in 20 sufferers must be hospitalized due to an acute attack. LBP often occurs at the age of 35-55 years and almost 80% of people in industrialized countries have experienced it. Obesity, stress, and sometimes depression can result in LBP. Chronic LBP sufferers usually experience dependence on several types of analgesics, which is the most common reason to seek treatment. The aim of the activity is to teach the public how to treat lower back pain non-pharmacologically. The educational method is by lecture and discussion/question and answer. The target of the activity is adults 30 years and over. The organizers of the activity were 3 lecturers and students from the Insan Husada Surakarta Polytechnic. The target location is at Dasa Wisma Cempaka Mojosongo Jebres Surakarta. A total of 25 Dawis residents took part in this activity on November 5 2023 for 60 minutes. The outreach activities went well according to the target and plan, and all Dawis residents were able to take part in the outreach activities on low back pain management. The level of knowledge of Dawis Cempaka residents pre and post has improved.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is so that MSME actors can prepare business proposals and be able to analyze financial statements so that MSMEs are realized as efficient, healthy and high-growth businesses, able to become the people's economic strength and make a great contribution to national economic development. The activity began with observation and correspondence through WA to find out the needs of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Then it was carried out by delivering material related to Improving the Quality of Financial Reports Using the Zahir Application. Community Empowerment Activities for MSMEs Through Improving the Quality of Financial Reports Using the Zahir Application at the Zet Chici Souvenir Center were carried out in accordance with what was expected. This can be seen from the positive response of MSME actors. It is hoped that in the future similar training and mentoring activities can be held again in order to improve the knowledge and skills of MSME actors in compiling financial statements and analyzing financial statements in order to access capital in banking institutions and other financial institutions

Abstract

The use of Microsoft Excel is very helpful in making tables, graphs, financial reporting and so on. The tools in Microsoft Excel provide convenience to its users. However, in fact, in the era of the development of science and technology, many people are still not familiar with the use of Microsoft Excel. Especially youth in Enggros Village, Jayapura City who are still collecting data manually or in writing and also few of them can operate Microsoft Excel. This community service aims to increase hardskills related to knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Excel so that it can facilitate data processing and help in completing the performance of youth and the people of Enggros Village by utilizing Microsoft Excel. This service is in the form of socialization with stages of surveys, participant data collection, program preparation, provision of materials, training, question and answer sessions and pre-tests and post-tests are carried out for activity evaluation. The community service lasted for 2 days, with 18 participants. The evaluation results after this community service activity showed that 78% of participants knew and could operate Microsoft Excel very well and had values ​​that were in accordance with expectations.

Abstract

Inappropriate use of plastic can cause health problems, including the risk of cancer and tissue damage in the human body. Another problem related to plastic is that global plastic waste production has increased dramatically over the past few decades, giving rise to severe environmental and health challenges. This outreach activity aims to increase public awareness about the safe and correct use of plastic and management of household waste that does not endanger health and has no impact on the environment. The community service activity was attended by around 37 housewives in Cisasah Masjid village, Purwasari Village. Dramaga District, Bogor Regency. Participants were given education regarding types of plastic and their safe use for food and household waste management. Participants were also given a questionnaire regarding knowledge and attitudes regarding plastic waste management. The results show that the majority of participants have good knowledge and attitudes regarding plastic waste management

Abstract

Stunting is a condition in which a child's growth and development are stunted due to chronic malnutrition, inadequate care, and poor living conditions, usually occurring in the early years of life, especially before the age of five. Stunting is often characterized by low height for a given age, indicating that the child's height is well below the average height for his or her age group. What more in developing countries, for example Indonesia itself. There are several areas that have stunting problems that are very easy to find, for example in Central Aceh. Aceh Tengah has a fairly high stunting ranking in several regions. Nutrition is a factor that we need to take care of because nutrition has an important role for our bodies and the optimal growth and development of children. Avocados contain nutrients and unsaturated fats that are good for babies, which are needed to support their brain and body development. Avocados are high in nutrients for babies such as vitamins and minerals. Some of these include vitamins C, A, K, E, and B6, as well as folate, thiamin, calcium, iron, potassium, and sodium. Avocado Utilization as PMT in Stunting Prevention Efforts in Segene Balik Village. The method used in this service is the socialization method by distributing brochures introducing one of the avocado preparations that can be useful for preventing stunting, namely avocado dessert. Abstract

Analog-based robotic training is one of the educational innovations that improves students' creativity and critical thinking skills. This activity aims to describe the implementation of analog line follower robotic training at the Creative School of Muhammadiyah Elementary School 19 Rogojampi as an effort to foster students' creativity, interest, and skills in technology. The method used is descriptive with a participatory approach, involving grade VI students as participants. This training begins with a theory of introducing the basics of robotics and its supporting electronic components, followed by the practice of assembling a simple analog line follower robot. The results of the training showed that students were able to understand the basic concepts of robotics and succeeded in making a robot that could follow the path independently. In addition, this activity also increased students' creativity through technology. Analog Line Follower robotic training at the Creative School of Muhammadiyah Elementary School 19 Rogojampi has a positive impact on fostering students' interest in technology and building 21st-century skills such as collaboration and innovation. Similar programs are recommended to be implemented in other schools to support STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)-based learning. Abstract

This research aims to improve creativity and production capacity in sustainable handicrafts by utilizing artificial intelligence (AI)-based technology as a step towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The methods applied include exposure and training on AI technology, as well as skills development designed to encourage increased creativity and productivity of local craftsmen. By using software such as Pebblely and Visionate, craftsmen can improve the efficiency and quality of products and production processes. In addition, these solutions help ensure consistent quality and increase the ability to meet market demand more effectively. This initiative is also in line with efforts to achieve the SDGs, especially in poverty alleviation and improving the welfare of local communities. By empowering the skills and creativity of craftsmen through the application of AI-based technology, as well as promoting the principles of SDGs, it is hoped that Handmade House can be an example of sustainable and inclusive local economic development

Abstract

Pendidikan anak memainkan peran yang sangat penting dalam menentukan masa depan suatu desa, terutama dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia yang dapat mendukung pembangunan ekonomi dan sosial. Di tengah pesatnya perkembangan teknologi digital, penting bagi pemuda di desa untuk diberdayakan agar dapat memahami dan memanfaatkan peluang yang ditawarkan oleh era digital, yang termasuk di dalamnya adalah menciptakan peluang usaha yang inovatif. Desa Kuningan, Jawa Barat, menjadi salah satu lokasi penerapan program penyuluhan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran pemuda mengenai pentingnya pendidikan anak dan potensi ekonomi yang dapat diraih melalui teknologi digital. Program penyuluhan ini melibatkan pelatihan dan pemberian keterampilan dasar tentang penggunaan teknologi digital untuk memulai dan mengembangkan usaha, dengan harapan dapat membuka wawasan pemuda tentang peluang usaha yang dapat mereka jalankan tanpa terhalang oleh lokasi geografis. Melalui pengenalan terhadap platform digital dan e-commerce, program ini juga mengedukasi pemuda tentang cara memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai sarana pemasaran yang efektif. Selain itu, program ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan pemuda pada konsep kewirausahaan berbasis digital yang dapat memperkuat ekonomi desa serta meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat secara keseluruhan. Secara keseluruhan, penyuluhan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam menciptakan generasi muda yang kreatif, inovatif, dan siap menghadapi tantangan ekonomi di era digital.

Abstract

Every company in Indonesia must report an Annual Corporate Income Tax Notification (SPT). This reporting compliance allows companies to comply with tax regulations and also serves as an important tool for measuring the amount of tax they have to pay to the government. The Anni’mah Faoundation, based in West Bandung, faced difficulties in understanding and compiling the Agency’s Annual Tax Returns. To overcome this problem, Pelita Bangsa University launched a community service program that involves training and mentoring from academics and student. The aim of this program is to increase the knowledge and skills of company staff regarding reporting corporate income tax returns, filling out reports correctly, and paying taxes according to applicable regulations. The method used to carry aout this activity includes identification.

Abstract

BUMDES pada dasarnya merupakan sebuah entitas bisnis yang dibentuk untuk mengoptimalkan potensi desa dan memberdayakan masyarakat desa. BUMDES merupakan model bisnis yang sangat ideal. Dalam prakteknya BUMDES masih memiliki beberapa kelemahan antara lain komunikasi antara BUMDES dengan pelaku usaha masyarakat desa, tata laksana sistem yang masih sangat baru, pelaksanaan sistem yang masih manual, belum ada komitmen bersama pengelola BUMDES, belum ada kesepemahaman dengan masyarakat desa terhadap program BUMDES, kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap kinerja BUMDES yang rendah, rendahnya inovasi pengelola, tata kelola yang masih kurang, permasalahan rantai pasokan, dan rekognisi oleh masyarakat. Tujuan dilakukannya kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini secara umum adalah untuk membangun sinergitas kemitraan sebagai perwujudan visi dan misi Universitas Telkom. Secara khusus, tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk mengembangangkan sistem akuntansi dan keuangan, perancangan tata kelola usaha dan proses bisnis, penyusunan rencana bisnis, penyusunan rancangan pemasaran, dan rantai pasokan, dan digitalisasi yang dapat digunakan oleh BUMDES Karya Mukti yang berada di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Output kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan antara lain berupa pelatihan/bimbingan teknis (bimtek), pembuatan prototipe sistem/proses, dokumen standar operasi, dan pembentukan/penguatan jejaring bisnis skala nasional dan regional Asia.
