Abstract

This research departs from phenomena that indicate inadequate job satisfaction caused by low work motivation and employee discipline. For this reason, the research aims to analyze the effect of work motivation and work discipline on job satisfaction. Quantitative research method approach using employee respondents who work in one of the government agencies in Bandung Regency as many as 120 employees. The sample frame uses the rank and work class of employees. The data analysis technique uses path analysis with results showing an influence of work motivation and work discipline on employee job satisfaction. The actual influence is 58.2%, while the rest influence by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

Entrepreneurial competence is knowledge, attitudes and skills that are connected to one another, which is needed by entrepreneurs to be trained and developed in order to be able to produce the best performance in managing their business. In the activities of Small and Medium Enterprises (UKM), this entrepreneurial competence is also very necessary. Entrepreneurial competence is also rarely discussed, especially in SMEs. So, we discuss the classification, identification of several scientific publications and analyze the literature to create a detailed understanding of the entrepreneurial competence field in SMEs. We use the Systematic Mapping Study (SMS) method to examine various articles on entrepreneurial competence in SMEs based on the focus and type of research over time. The results show the categories and quantification of entrepreneurial competency studies into various dimensions, as well as an overview of current research topics and trends in entrepreneurial competence in SMEs.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out what the meaning of innovation is in the view of cooperative administrators throughout Bandung Raya, especially in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. This arises from the existence of increasingly fierce competition in innovating both regionally, nationally and internationally in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. The research approach used is with qualitative research methods. Retrieval of data through interviews, observation and documentation. The results show that the meaning of innovation in the view of cooperative administrators in Bandung Raya, especially in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, is threefold, namely: (1) innovation in the view of cooperative administrators throughout Bandung Raya as increasing productivity, (2) innovation in the view of cooperative administrators -Bandung Raya as customer needs, and (3) innovation in the view of cooperative administrators throughout Bandung Raya as a way to improve performance. The conclusion of this study is that innovation in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 for cooperative managers throughout Bandung Raya is a necessity in order to maintain the existence of cooperatives in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0

Abstract

Work motivation can be a driving force for someone to carry out an activity to get the best results; there needs to be a solid push to increase individual motivation. Departing from the critical role of work motivation, the researcher intends to research employee work motivation. The goal is to get an overview of employee work motivation at one of the local government agencies in Cimahi City. Based on the aims and objectives of the study, the researcher used a descriptive approach to describe employees' work motivation. Respondents who are uses as samples are employees who one of the local government agencies as many as 114 employees. The results of the study illustrate that the study resultss' work motivation is in the good enough to good category. The study results indicate that the condition of employee motivation is adequate; however, it needs to be improved by the leadership of the local agency to achieve optimal employee motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to see to what extent the effectiveness of an information system that has just been implemented in a social security institution where this system is a replacement for the previous system which is considered less effective in managing archives. Based on the results of research and testing, it was found that this new system has a better effectiveness value and a far more optimal level of accuracy in archiving management.

Abstract

This research was carried based on the problems and the critical role of transformational leadership and extrinsic motivation in improving employee performance. To determine the effect of transformational leadership and extrinsic motivation on employee performance, the researchers conducted a survey on one of the garment companies in the city of Bandung with a simple random sampling technique of 67 employees. This study uses path analysis techniques to calculate the magnitude of the influence of transformational leadership and extrinsic motivation on employee performance either partially or simultaneously. The results showed that the real influence of transformational leadership was 47.4%. In comparison, the total effect of extrinsic motivation was 25.0%, so that the total effect was 72.4% with an epsilon of 27.6%, which was another factor not investigated.

Abstract

The background of this research departs from the phenomenon of the demands of the times, which require the world of higher education to produce superior and competitive human resources in the economic field. This condition cannot be fulfilled solely by relying on State Universities. Therefore, the role of private universities is crucial. One of the private universities that can meet this need in the College of Economics. This higher education path is expected to meet the demands for reliable human resources in the economic field, both in the academic world and in the practical world. This condition cannot separate from the role of lecturers in meeting these demands. This study aimed to determine the organizational culture of permanent lecturers in the South Sumatra region. The population in this study were private university lecturers in the South Sumatra region. The research method uses a descriptive survey using descriptive analysis. The number of research samples was 185 respondents/permanent lecturers. The study results illustrate that organizational culture is not good, with two indicators having the lowest value. The indicators in question are doing work carefully and doing work carefully. For this reason, it is necessary to improve indicators by doing work carefully and doing work carefully.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of payroll accounting information systems on payroll internal control. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey approach to employees directly related to the accounting information system at a motorcycle spare part dealer in Badung City with 30 respondents. Using a simple linear regression analysis technique to determine the magnitude of the influence used the influence of the payroll accounting information system on payroll internal control. The calculation results show a positive influence of the payroll accounting information system on internal control of payroll with a total effect of 66.4%. The remaining 33.6% can influence by other factors not examined in the study.

Abstract

Innovation in the transportation sector with the principle of sharing economy has created a new service industry sector, namely online ride-sharing services. Companies can display in a simple but comprehensive manner the nine essential components of a business. A business model is a method that helps companies tell stories about the internal conditions of the company. This study aims to analyze the business model of Noompang using the Business Model Canvas analysis. This research uses descriptive-exploratory method. Data collection using the ghost interview method to the selected driver. Data obtained from interviews with partners, both drivers and passengers Noompang in Bandung - Jakarta and the results of studies of supporting literature. The results obtained from this study are that Noompang benefits from profit sharing with partner companies, profit sharing with driver partners, benefits from the Ovo e-wallet, and benefits from Google / Apple on application downloads.

Abstract

This study examines the importance of service quality and product quality on consumer satisfaction. The survey was conducted on 150 customers at a bicycle retail company in the city of Bandung. This research uses path analysis technique to determine the effect of quality of service and product quality on consumer satisfaction, either partially or simultaneously. The results showed that service quality had the most substantial influence on consumer satisfaction, with the value of the importance of the effect being 32.5%. Product Quality has the second most substantial influence on Consumer Satisfaction, with a value of 24.9%. The results of the calculation of the coefficient of determination (R2) expressed in percentages describe the contribution of all independent variables, namely Service Quality (X1) and Product Quality (X2) in determining Customer Satisfaction (Y) of 57.4% and the amount of epsilon is = 0.426 or of 42.6% influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
