Abstract

The Qur'an contains several verses about students, discussing the nature of students, their development, and their religious development. From this discussion, it can be seen that Surah Al-Taubah, verse 122, discusses the nature of students, Surah Al-Hadid, verse 20, and Surah Al-A'raf, verse 172, discusses their religious development. From the above explanation, it can be concluded that the description of student characteristics in the Qur'an and Hadith is related to the explanation of scientific concepts. This is evidenced by the mutually reinforcing explanations between the characteristics contained in the Qur'an, Hadith, and the concept of developmental psychology.

Abstract

In preparing the planning of community guidance and development activities in improving the Human Resources of the Maslahah Family in Jambewungu Village, Wringin District. The purpose of this community service is to implement and develop the Tri Dharma of Higher Education synergistically. The method we obtained in this service activity is the creation of transformative learning, an important process that determines changes in a person's knowledge, attitudes, skills and behavior. Activities that will be carried out in mentoring in the fields of religion, education and socio-culture.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the understanding of International Relations students at the Veteran National Development University in East Java regarding tolerance in interfaith worship. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection methods through in-depth interviews with ten students. The focus of this study is on students' understanding in responding to the diversity of worship practices and their attitudes towards the 2018 church bombings in Surabaya. The results show that most students have an inclusive view of freedom of worship and consider acts of intolerance as a threat to social harmony. This understanding is influenced by educational background, media, social environment, and multicultural values acquired on campus. However, it was also found that a small number of students still have limited understanding due to a lack of interfaith knowledge and exposure to issues of intolerance. This study recommends that tolerance education be further enhanced in an applied and contextual manner in higher education settings, in order to strengthen moderate attitudes and respect for differences in religious life in multicultural societies such as Indonesia.

Abstract

The development of financial technology has given rise to various digital payment instruments, including e-wallets, QRIS, and Paylater, which are increasingly popular among the public. This study aims to analyze these three payment methods from an Islamic perspective, by reviewing the contracts used and their compliance with Sharia principles. The study results indicate that e-wallets are essentially permissible because they function as a storage medium (wadi'ah contract) and a transaction tool supported by sale and purchase contracts and ijarah, as long as they are not used for transactions of prohibited goods/services. QRIS is also permissible because it only functions as a QR code-based transfer and payment facility, provided it is free from elements of usury, gharar, and maysir. Meanwhile, Paylater has generated controversy; some scholars permit it if the installment contract clearly states without additional interest, but in practice, it is often accompanied by interest and late fees, thus constituting prohibited usury. This study concludes that the use of e-wallets and QRIS is in line with Sharia principles, while the use of Paylater should be avoided or limited to avoid violating Islamic law.

Abstract

The principal plays a crucial role as a leader in guiding teachers, administrative staff, and other school personnel. Based on preliminary observations at MTs TMI Putra Al-Amien Prenduan, the principal has demonstrated an active role in carrying out leadership functions. However, as the majority of teachers at MTs TMI Putra Al-Amien Prenduan hold non-bachelor degrees, there are several challenges in which some teachers have not performed their duties optimally. This condition necessitates the implementation of strategies by the principal to improve teaching competence among teachers. This study aims to identify and describe the principal’s strategies in enhancing the teaching competence of non-degree teachers at MTs TMI Putra Al-Amien Prenduan. The research employed a qualitative field approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal six main strategies used by the principal to improve teaching competence among non-degree teachers, six implications resulting from the implementation of these strategies, as well as two supporting and inhibiting factors influencing their execution.

Abstract

Setiap sekolah sudah tentu memiliki peraturan dan tata tertib yang berlaku, tata tertib sekolah bertujuan sebagai pedoman berperilaku siswa untuk menciptakan lingkungan kehidupan sekolah menjadi tertib, aman, tentram, kondusif, dan disiplin. Siswa Indisipliner melakukan pelanggaran tata tertib seperti terlambat, tidur di kelas, membolos, atribut upacara tidak lengkap maka bisa menyebabkan kerugian dalam dirinya sendiri, bahkan akan mendapatkan sanksi ataupun hukuman. Dari sini guru BK berperan dalam memperkuat nilai kepatuhan dan disiplin serta mendampingi, membantu dan mengawasi para siswa untuk berperilaku disiplin. Adapun fokus penelitian dalam skripsi ini yaitu: 1) Bagaimanakah Penyebab Indisipliner Siswa Kelas IX SMPN 2 Larangan? 2) Bagaimanakah Penguatan Nilai-Nilai Kepatuhan Dan Disiplin Oleh Guru BK Dalam Mengatasi Perilaku Indisipliner Siswa Kelas IX SMPN 2 Larangan? Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Kualitatif deskriptif adalah memaparkan masalah atau temuan di lapangan sesuai dengan yang terjadi. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Penyebab indisipliner siswa kelas IX SMPN 2 Larangan yaitu faktor dari dalam (intrinsik), yaitu rasa malas dan acuh tak acuh dalam pelajaran. Berikutnya faktor dari luar (ekstrinsik), yaitu faktor dari keluarga dan pengaruh teman serta lingkungan sekitar. (2) Dalam penguatan nilai kepatuhan dan disiplin, guru BK mengatasi indisipliner siswa kelas IX SMPN 2 Larangan dengan melakukan identifikasi masalah, pemberian peringatan, nasehat, bimbingan, pemanggilan, kunjungan rumah (home visit), memanggil orang tua, dan melakukan kerja sama dengan guru atau wali kelas. (3) Dampak dari penguatan yang dilakukan oleh guru BK memberikan perubahan pada siswa seperti perubahan perilaku serta peningkatan kesadaran diri.

Abstract

Pondok pesantren berperan penting dalam pembentukan karakter dan kepribadian santri, dengan menanamkan nilai-nilai kedisiplinan dan tanggung jawab sebagai bagian dari pengembangan akhlak dan spritualitas. Namun, kenyataan di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian mahasantri yang belum sepenuhnya disiplin dan bertanggung jawab dalam menjalankan kewajiban mereka. Di UNIA Prenduan, setiap guru pengabdian memiliki strategi yang berbeda-beda dalam membentuk karakter disiplin dan tanggung jawab mahasantri, karena disiplin dan tanggung jawab merupakan sikap keunggulan yang terbangun dari ajaran Islam dan nilai luhur budaya Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi yang diterapkan guru pengabdian dalam pembentukan karakter disiplin dan tanggung jawab mahasantri UNIA Prenduan dan apa saja kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru pengabdian dalam pembentukan karakter disiplin dan tanggung jawab mahasantri UNIA Prenduan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus, dimana data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data utama adalah guru pengabdian periode 2024-2025.Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa guru pengabdian mempunyai strategi yang berbeda-beda dalam pembentukan karakter disiplin dan tanggung jawab mahasantri, diantaranya yaitu dari segi strategi perbuatan yang meliputi: menegakkan peraturan, pengawasan dan pendekatan terhadap mahasantri, memberikan tauladan yang baik, hukuman dan sanksi. Adapun dari segi strategi ucapan meliputi: nasihat dan motivasi. Adapun kendala yang dihadapi yaitu dari faktor intenal meliputi: tidak ada kesadaran dari diri mahasantri sendiri, anak yang susah diatur dan merasa bosan dengan aturan, perbedaan latar belakang anak baik dari sisi emosional maupun pengalaman hidupnya. Sedangkan dari faktor eksternal meliputi: Sebagian pengurus yang melanggar aturan sehingga memberikan contoh yang tidak baik, keterbatasan waktu dan kurangnya totalitas guru pengabdian dalam mengontrol sehingga mahasantri merasa lebih bebas, dan pengaruh dari teman yang kurang baik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the Percaton Land-based village development program and the Islamic leadership of the Village Head in improving the welfare of the people of Pangpajung Village, Modung District, Bangkalan Regency. The background of this study is based on the strategic agenda of national village development that emphasizes the optimization of local resource potential through Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages, in which villages are given the authority to regulate their own interests to accelerate the improvement of the quality of life of the community. The research method uses a qualitative approach with descriptive field research. Data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with the Village Head and the Percaton Land manager. The results show that the Islamic leadership of the Village Head, characterized by Islamic values ​​such as exemplary behavior, deliberation, mutual cooperation, justice, and trustworthiness, acts as a catalyst for socio-economic transformation. The Percaton Land program, managed through a profit-sharing system with intercropping patterns, effectively improves food security and the economic welfare of the community. The conclusion of this study confirms that the combination of a planned village development program with participatory, fair, and integrated Islamic leadership plays an effective role in improving the welfare of the community holistically, encompassing economic, social, and spiritual dimensions.

Abstract

Children's learning abilities are often associated with their intellectual abilities. Children with learning disabilities (slow learners) have limitations in understanding lessons, which often leads to low self-confidence. This study aims to determine the implementation and results of individual counseling services in increasing the self-confidence of slow learners at MTs Mabdaul Falah Pamekasan. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation involving two slow learners as the main subjects, as well as teachers and school staff as additional data sources. Individual counseling services were conducted in four sessions, including the opening stage, problem identification, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation. The results showed that individual counseling services were effective in boosting the self-confidence of slow learners. This was evident from changes in student behavior, such as the courage to express opinions, increased participation in class discussions, and active involvement in school activities. However, these changes required ongoing support from the school environment and family. This study contributed to the development of individual counseling theory and practice, particularly in supporting slow learners to overcome their academic and social challenges.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the role of Madurese ulama in maintaining halal practices in the community of Dasuk District, Sumenep Regency. Through a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods, this research explores the subjective experiences of the community and ulama in understanding and internalizing halal values ​​in everyday life. Data was obtained through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation of the religious and socio-economic activities of the Dasuk community. The research results show that ulama play a role as educators, moral supervisors, and social role models who guide society to consistently implement halal principles, not only in consumption but also in work and social interactions. Ulama use a gentle and contextual da'wah approach, such as recitations and informal discussions, to instill awareness about the importance of halal. The main challenges faced include differences in people's levels of understanding, the influence of modernization, and changes in lifestyle. In conclusion, the role of village ulama in Dasuk is very significant as moral and cultural agents in maintaining the continuity of halal values ​​amidst the social dynamics of Madurese society.
