Abstract

Businesses are facing a serious problem as a result of the high intention of turnover among Generation Z workers, especially in cities like South Tangerang City. The purpose of this study is to examine how Generation Z employees' intentions to leave a company are impacted by their workload, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. This study uses a survey method in a quantitative manner. Fifty members of Generation Z who currently work or have previously worked in South Tangerang City were given questionnaires using a Likert scale to complete in order to gather data. Multiple linear regression analysis, validity testing, reliability testing, and classical assumption testing are some of the data analysis methods. The findings show that organizational commitment, workload, and job satisfaction all significantly and partially influence turnover intention. Workload has the greatest correlation with turnover intention among the independent factors. These results emphasize how crucial it is to control workload proportionately, improve job happiness, and increase organizational commitment as tactical measures to lower the intention of Generation Z workers to leave their jobs. Keywords workload, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, turnover intention, Generation Z

Abstract

Informal workers, including refrigeration technicians, remain the most vulnerable group in Indonesia's labor structure due to limited access to social security. Limited regulations, misaligned mandates between institutions, and weak implementation mechanisms have slowed the expansion of social protection coverage. This paper discusses the need for an in-depth analysis of how the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan program (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan) is implemented for refrigeration technicians, a subset of informal workers. This study is crucial for understanding participation levels, the obstacles faced, and strategies for expanding social security coverage. This study is conducted through an analysis of the applicable legal framework and an evaluation of policy practices. Strengthening regulations is expected to clarify institutional roles, improve policy effectiveness, and encourage increased participation of informal workers in social security programs Keywords : Informal Workers, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, Social Security

Abstract

The rapid growth of the digital era has created non-conventional jobs characterized by flexible work arrangements and different compensation systems from traditional employment. However, research on job satisfaction among non-conventional workers remains limited. This study examines the effect of compensation and work flexibility on job satisfaction of non-conventional workers in South Tangerang. Using a quantitative associative design, data were collected from 96 respondents selected through probability sampling based on the Cochran formula. Questionnaires were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings show that compensation and work flexibility have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, both partially and simultaneously. These results provide practical insights for companies and digital platforms in developing effective compensation and flexible work policies to improve job satisfaction in the digital era. Keywords: Compensation, Work Flexibility, Job Satisfaction

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in the Indonesian economy as drivers of economic growth, labor absorbers, and instruments for poverty reduction. The significant contribution of MSMEs to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and employment makes this sector the backbone of the national economy, including in maintaining economic stability during times of crisis. In the context of Islamic MSMEs, improved business performance is strongly influenced by the ability to innovate, mastery of digital marketing, and access to business capital in accordance with Sharia principles. Innovation based on Islamic values, whether in products, processes, or business models, can increase competitiveness and attract Muslim consumers. Furthermore, digital marketing is a crucial tool for expanding market reach and building customer loyalty, although digital skills remain limited among Islamic MSMEs. On the other hand, limited access to Islamic financing and low financial literacy are key challenges to business development. Therefore, increasing innovation, strengthening digital capacity, and optimizing Islamic financing are key factors in driving the growth and sustainability of Islamic MSMEs.Keywords: The Role of Innovation, Digital Marketing, Capital and Increasing MSME Sales

Abstract

Small-scale Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) often operate without a clear strategic direction and structured governance, resulting in reactive decision-making and limited business sustainability.Cooperatives, as collective economic institutions, play a strategic role in strengthening MSME managerial capacity through the internalization of organizational values, vision, and mission. This study aims to analyze the implementation of cooperative vision and mission socialization in strengthening governance and strategic direction of small-scale MSMEs. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach through socialization sessions, participatory workshops, decision-making simulations, and action plan development. The findings indicate improvements in MSMEs' understanding of business objectives, consistency in decision-making, and ability to formulate measurable strategic plans. The study concludes that the socialization of cooperative vision and mission functions not merely as value dissemination but as an effective instrument for strengthening governance and strategic orientation of small-scale MSMEs.Keywords : cooperative, vision and mission, governance, strategic direction, MSMEs

Abstract

Previous studies on employee productivity have mainly focused on office and manufacturing sectors, with limited attention to Generation Z employees in the food and beverage industry. Generation Z tends to value a supportive work environment, flexible working hours, and work–life balance. In a shift-based food and beverage setting, these factors are expected to influence productivity. This study examines the effects of work environment, work schedule flexibility, and work–life balance on the productivity of Generation Z employees at Kopi Kenangan Area 2.9 using a quantitative approach with saturated sampling of 43 employees. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that work environment and work–life balance have a positive direction of influence, while work schedule flexibility shows a negative direction. However, none of the variables significantly affect employee productivity, suggesting that productivity is more strongly shaped by operational demands and shift-based work systems. Keywords : Work Environment, Work Schedule Flexibility, Work–Life Balance, Employee Productivity, Generation Z

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the fundamental role of the philosophy of science in building an Islamic economic system that is responsive to the dynamics of the times and adheres to the principle of justice. Amidst the failures of the conventional economic system, which often separates the moral dimension from material activities, Islamic economics presents an integrative solution that unites revelation and reason. By utilizing 25 selected academic sources from the 2021-2026 period, this study employs a qualitative-descriptive method with ontological, epistemological, and axiological approaches. The results indicate that Islamic economics as a discipline requires a solid epistemological foundation through the integration of Ushul al-Tafsir and rationalist approaches. Epistemologically, the integration of monotheistic values and empirical objectivity enables ijtihad to formulate effective policies in addressing global challenges. Axiologically, responsive economic development is realized through strengthening transparent ZISWAF instruments, implementing a green economy linked to SDGs, and adapting to digital banking transformation to achieve holistic welfare (falah) in the modern era. Keywords: Philosophy of Science, Islamic Economics, Epistemology,  Digital Banking, Green Economy, Economic Responsiveness.
