Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of digital financial literacy and consumptive lifestyle on the decision to use Shopee PayLater among Generation Z students at Dehasen University, Bengkulu. The study employed an associative quantitative approach with a purposive sampling method involving 86 respondents. Data were collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 25.The results showed that digital financial literacy has a significant effect on the decision to use Shopee PayLater, with a t-value of 3.928 > t-table of 1.663 and a significance level of 0.00 < 0.05. Consumptive lifestyle also has a significant effect on the decision to use Shopee PayLater, with a t-value of 7.345 > t-table of 1.663 and a significance level of 0.00 < 0.05. Simultaneously, both variables have a significant effect, with an F-value of 69.443 > F-table of 3.11 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. The R² value of 0.626 indicates that these two variables explain 62.6% of the variation in the decision to use Shopee PayLater. The multiple linear regression equation is expressed as Y = 0.403 + 0.408(X1) + 0.575(X2) + e. Thus, the higher the level of digital financial literacy and the more consumptive the students’ lifestyle, the greater the likelihood that they will use Shopee PayLater.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of community participation and managerial competence on the performance of Pasundan Village-Owned Enterprises in Sukamaju Village, Sumber Harta District, Musi Rawas Regency. The main issue addressed is low community participation and suboptimal managerial competence, limiting the performance of BUMDes in improving community welfare. Using a quantitative associative research design, data were collected from 50 respondents, including managers and community members, through Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed with multiple linear regression using SPSS version 25. The results show significant positive effects of community participation (t = 2.508, p = 0.016) and managerial competence (t = 6.507, p = 0.000) on BUMDes performance. Both variables simultaneously influence performance (F = 38.151, p = 0.000). The determination coefficient (R² = 0.619) explains that 61.9% of performance variation can be attributed to these factors, with the remainder influenced by other variables. The findings emphasize the importance of enhancing community engagement and management competencies to improve the performance and sustainability of BUMDes in fostering inclusive and sustainable rural economic development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of promotions in the form of discounts, the tagline "Free Shipping", and Shopping Lifestyle on impulsive purchasing decisions of Generation Z Shopee users in Bengkulu City. The method used is quantitative with a questionnaire survey on 100 respondents aged 17–28 years who are active Shopee users and activate the ad notification feature. Data were analyzed through multiple linear regression using SPSS to test the partial and simultaneous effects of these variables. The regression results show that discounts and the tagline "Free Shipping" do not have a significant partial influence on impulsive purchasing decisions, but shopping lifestyle has a positive and significant influence and is a dominant factor in this behavior. Simultaneously, the third variable has a significant influence with a coefficient of determination of 0.823, which means that 82.3% of the variation in impulsive purchasing decisions can be explained by the influence of discounts, the tagline "Free Shipping", and shopping lifestyle, while the rest is influenced by other variables not studied. This study provides important insights for e-commerce players in designing effective marketing strategies, especially for the Generation Z target market.

The number of respondents was 30 people from all village officials in South Seluma District, which consists of four villages, namely Sengkuang Village, Tanjungan Village, Tanjung Seru Village, and Padang Genting Village. The results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained the equation: Y = 0.764 - 0.008X1 + 0.986X2 + e These results indicate that leadership (X₁) has a negative coefficient value (-0.008) and does not significantly influence the performance of village officials with a calculated t value of -0.046 <t table 1.703 and a significance of 0.986> 0.05. Meanwhile, discipline (X₂) has a positive and significant effect on the performance of village officials with a calculated t value of 5.944 > t table 1.703 and a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. The results of the simultaneous test (F test) show that leadership and discipline together have a significant effect on the performance of village officials with a calculated F value of 966.757 > F table 3.354 and a significance of 0.000 < 0.05.
