This study aims to explore the effectiveness of leadership styles within the context of building construction projects in Surabaya, considering the characteristics of the workers involved. The background of this research is based on the importance of leadership in managing human resources in complex and dynamic construction projects. This study adopts a descriptive qualitative approach, using data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that the effectiveness of leadership styles heavily depends on the alignment between the applied leadership style and the characteristics of the workers on-site. Transformational leadership is effective in motivating result-oriented and experienced workers, while an authoritarian style is more appropriate for new workers who require clear direction. Participative leadership is considered effective in enhancing workers' loyalty and engagement in the work process.

This study explores the relationship between self-actualization and happiness within the framework of philosophical psychology. Self-actualization, as proposed by Abraham Maslow, represents the fulfillment of one's highest potential, while happiness is examined through both hedonic (pleasure-based) and eudaimonic (meaning-based) dimensions. The research employs a philosophical-psychological literature review, analyzing key works from influential thinkers like Maslow, Carl Rogers, Viktor Frankl, and Martin Seligman. By examining their contributions, the study investigates the conceptual foundations of self-actualization in humanistic psychology and its connection to happiness. The research also explores the ontological, epistemological, and axiological implications of these concepts, emphasizing the significance of understanding self-realization not just as a psychological process, but as an existential and moral journey. The findings suggest that while self-actualization contributes to deep, enduring happiness, it is essential to recognize the role of meaning and transcendence in achieving true fulfillment. This interdisciplinary approach offers valuable insights for understanding human well-being from both a philosophical and psychological perspective.

This study analyzes data analytics-based human resource (HR) competency development strategies to improve organizational productivity and economic competitiveness in the digital age, using a qualitative library research approach from journals indexed by Google Scholar, Scopus, and national publications from 2020 to 2026. The background highlights the crucial role of data analytics in identifying skill gaps such as digital literacy and data analysis, with case studies showing a 95% correlation between digitization and a 90% increase in competency, despite adaptation challenges in Indonesia causing stagnant productivity and competitive lag. The problem formulation covers four aspects: (1) mapping competency gaps through analytical dashboards and HRIS with 98% accuracy; (2) effective strategies such as AI-driven upskilling, gamified e-learning, and predictive reskilling that increase productivity by 20-42%; (3) significant contribution to competitiveness (β=0.32-0.45, p<0.05) via product differentiation and operational efficiency of 30-50%; and (4) major obstacles in the form of data fragmentation (70% of Deloitte cases), lack of data literacy, and cultural resistance. Thematic-narrative synthesis analysis confirms that people analytics minimizes subjectivity, optimizes training ROI, and positions Indonesian organizations to be globally competitive through technology-transformational leadership synergy. Solutions include phased data literacy training, cloud-based HRIS, and change management for up to 40% effectiveness. The findings recommend gradual adoption for HR practitioners for sustainable transformation in Industry 5.0, with limitations due to reliance on current literature.

This study aims to analyze the marketing strategies employed by micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to enhance their competitiveness in global markets. Using a qualitative approach and a literature review method, the study synthesizes relevant research, reports, and case studies to identify key strategies for MSMEs in the context of global competition. The findings reveal that MSMEs increasingly adopt a hybrid marketing strategy, integrating both digital and traditional methods to reach international markets effectively. Digital marketing tools, such as social media and SEO, are vital for expanding online presence and engaging with global consumers, while traditional marketing strategies, including trade fairs and direct selling, remain essential for building trust and fostering long-term business relationships. The study highlights that MSMEs face significant challenges, including resource constraints and cultural barriers, but these can be mitigated through a combination of strategic marketing approaches and external support from governments and institutions. The research suggests that MSMEs can improve their global competitiveness by leveraging the synergies of digital and traditional marketing methods. Further research is recommended to explore the long-term impact of hybrid strategies and the potential role of emerging technologies in enhancing MSME marketing efforts in a globalized economy.
