Abstract

This research examines the implementation of the subsidized market operation program conducted by PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) in Medan during Ramadan 2025. This program represents a strategic effort to address price fluctuations and ensure the availability of essential goods at affordable prices for the community, especially approaching the holy month of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr. Using a qualitative approach through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies, this research analyzes the implementation mechanisms, cross-sectoral coordination, and the socio-economic impact of the program on community welfare. The findings indicate that the subsidized market operation has successfully increased community purchasing power, stabilized food prices in the market, and strengthened community social cohesion. The application of the Community Organization Community Development (COCD) intervention method through student volunteer involvement has enhanced the social empowerment dimension of this program. Nevertheless, several challenges were identified in its implementation, such as stock limitations, long queues, and limited coverage. This research recommends expanding program coverage, diversifying commodities, integrating digital services, and developing partnerships with local Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to improve program effectiveness within the welfare state framework as a manifestation of state-owned enterprise social responsibility.

Abstract

This study analyzes the financial performance of PTS. Goto Gojek Tokopedia TBK focusing on the period before and after the initial public offering (IPO) from 2021 to 2023. The company was officially listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange through a partnership with Tokopedia in April 2022, with funds allocated for trading on the exchange. This study uses financial ratio analysis such as liquidity, profitability, and solvency costs to assess the impact of the IPO on Goto's financial situation. The results show that although GoTo maintained a healthy liquidity position post-IPO, as reflected by the stable current ratio and quick ratio, its profitability performance showed a downward trend, with increasing losses in net profit margin, Return on Assets (ROA), and Return on Equity (ROE). The increase in the debt ratio after the initial public offering (IPO) indicates that GoTo is increasingly dependent on external financing to support its expansion, which could potentially increase the financial risks faced by the company. Despite successfully raising large funds, the company's profitability has not shown a positive impact in the short term, with hopes of improvement in the future. This study highlights the challenges that companies address following an IPO compared to operational cost management, efficiency and capital utilization for sustainable growth.

Abstract

This paper presents the design and implementation of an automatic oven for baking marble sponge cake using a PID-based temperature control system. The proposed system regulates oven temperature and air circulation to achieve stable and uniform baking conditions. Temperature control is implemented using a PID algorithm based on feedback from a K-type thermocouple sensor, while air circulation is controlled by a DC blower motor driven through PWM and a BTS7960 driver. The overall system is controlled by an Arduino Uno R3 microcontroller. PID parameters were determined using the Ziegler–Nichols reaction curve method, resulting in ???????? = 16.4, ???????? = 90 s, and ???????? = 22.5 s. Experimental results show that the oven was able to reach and maintain a setpoint temperature of 175 ∘C with acceptable stability during a 28-min baking process. Therefore, the developed system can be considered effective for automatic marble sponge cake baking requiring stable and controlled thermal conditions.

Abstract

Vitamin D deficiency remains a global health concern, including in tropical countries such as Indonesia, where many children still experience inadequate levels. Beyond its role in bone health, vitamin D is essential in immune regulation. Allergic rhinitis, a common condition in children, involves inflammation of the nasal mucosa and can negatively impact quality of life, learning, and daily activities. This study aims to review current evidence on the relationship between vitamin D deficiency and the incidence and severity of allergic rhinitis in children. This research used a narrative review approach by systematically searching PubMed and Google Scholar for relevant articles published between 2014 and 2024. The inclusion criteria focused on original studies involving children under 18 years that examined vitamin D levels or supplementation in relation to allergic rhinitis.Findings indicate that vitamin D plays an immunomodulatory role by reducing IgE levels, regulating cytokines, and enhancing T-regulatory cells. Several studies show that low vitamin D levels are associated with increased risk, severity, and poorer treatment outcomes of allergic rhinitis. However, some studies report inconsistent results. In conclusion, vitamin D deficiency may contribute to allergic rhinitis in children, although further research is needed to confirm this relationship.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has given rise to a digital economic ecosystem that opens up vast opportunities for new digital-based entrepreneurs, or digital-preneurs. This study aims to develop a relevant digital entrepreneurship–based business incubator model concept using the Research and Development (R&D) method. Through a series of stages and process, the study successfully produced a systematic and ideal design of the Digital Preneurship Business Incubator (IBDP) model as a platform for incubating MSMEs and prospective start-ups (tenants) to grow. The model, which has undergone validation and functional testing by competent experts in the field, is an advancement of the conventional business incubator model, with several crucial modifications that emphasize integrated digital aspects across all stages of the incubation process.

Abstract

Financial reports play a crucial role in supporting strategic decision-making for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). However, in practice, many MSMEs have not maximized the use of financial reports as a foundation for business evaluation and management decision-making. This article aims to examine the function of financial reports in business decision-making through a descriptive-analytical method, using a case study of an MSME in the culinary sector. The analysis focuses on the elements of financial reports, liquidity ratios, solvency, profitability, and cash flow, along with their implications for business strategy. Key findings reveal that high profits do not always reflect a healthy business if they are not accompanied by consistent operational cash flow. The case study of the MSME "Kopi Nusantara" shows that the root cause of the problem is not low sales or profitability, but rather weak working capital management, particularly inventory control and delays in cash receipts from digital channels. This article emphasizes that financial reports should be used as a managerial instrument, not merely an administrative tool. Practical implications of this research include strengthening MSME financial literacy, implementing simple, standards-based record-keeping, and utilizing financial report analysis to inform operational and strategic decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Presidential Instruction Number 7 of 2025 concerning the acceleration of educational digitalization and community synergy in supporting its implementation in Gresik Regency. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study design to gain a deep understanding of the phenomenon under study. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies, then analyzed using an interactive analysis model at SMAN 1 Wringinanom and SMAN 1 Balongpanggang, as the research samples. The results explain that the implementation of the educational digitalization policy has been ongoing, but has not been optimal due to limited technological infrastructure, variations in the digital competencies of educators, and budget constraints. Furthermore, community synergy has proven to be crucial in supporting the policy's success, although there remains a gap in participation between urban and rural areas influenced by digital literacy, technology access, and economic conditions. This study also found that the success of the policy's implementation is largely determined by collaboration between the government, educational institutions, and the community through a collaborative governance approach, although this collaboration is still in its infancy. Therefore, strengthening infrastructure, improving digital competencies, and developing a more systematic collaboration model are needed to increase the effectiveness of the educational digitalization policy.

Abstract

Red onion peel (Allium cepa L.) is an agricultural by-product that contains high levels of bioactive compounds, particularly flavonoids and quercetin, which are known to possess antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. This systematic literature review aims to analyze the scientific evidence regarding the effects of red onion peel extract on antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities in mouse models. Data were collected from international databases and selected based on relevance to in vivo and in vitro studies published between 2020 and 2025. The findings indicate that red onion peel extract significantly enhances antioxidant defense mechanisms by increasing the activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase, and total antioxidant capacity (ORAC), while reducing oxidative stress markers such as nitric oxide (NO) and inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS). In addition, the extract exhibits strong anti-inflammatory effects through the suppression of pro-inflammatory cytokines, including IL-1α, IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α, as well as inhibition of key signaling pathways such as JAK-STAT, NF-κB, and NLRP3/caspase-1. The effectiveness of the extract is influenced by dosage, duration of administration, and extraction method, with higher doses and longer exposure generally producing stronger biological effects. Overall, red onion peel extract shows promising potential as a natural source of antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agents for nutraceutical and therapeutic applications.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of Ease of Doing Business on economic growth, as measured by Gross Domestic Product (GDP), in Southeast Asian countries. The research problem is the persistent differences in the level of ease experienced among Southeast Asian countries and how this impacts economic performance. This study uses secondary data from the World Bank's GDP and Ease of Doing Business indicators based on the Distance to Frontier (DTF) Score from Doing Business. The indicators include things like starting a business, handling building permits, obtaining electricity, registering property, obtaining credit, paying taxes, trading abroad, and resolving bankruptcy. This study uses a Fixed Effect Model to conduct panel data regression analysis on 9 countries in the Southeast Asian region from 2014 to 2020. The results show that all Ease of Doing Business variables have a significant impact on GDP simultaneously. Bankruptcy Resolution has a negative and significant impact on GDP; partially, Building Permit Management, Electricity Procurement, and Cross-Border Trade have a positive and significant impact on GDP. Meanwhile, starting a business, obtaining credit, paying taxes, and registering property did not have a significant impact. This study found that ease of doing business in certain sectors plays a significant role in increasing economic growth. Therefore, the government recommends improving the effectiveness of regulations, infrastructure, and trade to encourage sustainable economic growth.
