Abstract

Technological developments in 4.0 require people to use the latest technology. The latest technological systems require skilled human resources. The current technological development is artificial intelligence which can do work like humans do. Artificial Intelligence can be used in writing questions. The aim of Community Service is: to assist teachers in writing questions using Artificial Intelligence via the ChatGPT platform. The qualitative research method involves asking several teachers during the activity. Community Service Results, namely: 1) teachers do not understand writing questions using the revised Bloom's Taxonomy at cognitive levels C4, C5, and C6; and 2) teachers can use the question item writing platform with ChatGPT. Based on these results, teachers are given an in-depth understanding of the theory of writing questions at cognitive levels C4, C5, and C6. Through this understanding, teachers are expected to be able to write questions correctly which are supported by ChatGPT. This is because ChatGPT is not completely correct regarding writing question items.

Abstract

This activity aims to provide understanding and awareness to the community about efforts to prevent people from getting trapped in underage marriages. This service was carried out in the form of socialization on the prevention of child marriage which took place in Kembang Kerang Daya Village. This activity will take place on October 23 2024. The targets of this activity are representatives from regional heads throughout Kembang Kerang Daya Village, representatives of health cadres, representatives of village institutions, and representatives of women's communities. The service approach used is Participatory Action Research (PAR) with three stages. 1) The preparation stage includes data collection and interviews with the families and children involved, as well as analysis of factors causing child marriage, such as promiscuity and limited education. 2) In the implementation stage, the service and partners deliver material regarding marriage regulations, the negative impacts of early marriage, and preventive measures, including changes to laws and regulations regarding the minimum age for marriage. 3) The evaluation stage is carried out to assess community understanding of the socialization material and to plan follow-up actions such as forming a prevention team, providing a budget, revising village regulations, and drafting child protection regulations.

Abstract

National Santri Day is a moment to appreciate the contribution of santri in the nation's struggle. However, in some areas, this commemoration has not been fully utilized to strengthen the relationship between pesantren, the community, and the government. This service aims to optimize the commemoration of Santri Day in Bukit Permata Village with a collaborative approach involving various elements of society. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR), which involves active community participation in all stages of the activity. The results of this service strengthen relationships between villagers, increase togetherness, and strengthen a sense of pride in cultural and religious identity. National Santri Day celebration activities such as adhan competitions, quiz, tahfidz, coloring, and fashion shows can also increase community understanding of religion, culture, and education. The implication of this service is the creation of an inclusive, participatory, and sustainable Santri Day celebration model, which can be an inspiration for other regions in celebrating Santri Day in a more meaningful and sustainable manner.

Abstract

The importance of good public speaking skills for santri is one of the important assets where santri in the development of their da'wah, public speaking skills can be an effective tool in conveying various information, fostering motivation, persuasive approaches or just as a discussion. in this increasingly competitive era, santri in addition to mastering religious knowledge must also have good communication skills in public. Of course, it is not easy for someone to be good and expert in public speaking, it is necessary to learn and practice and dare to try activities related to public speaking. Seeing the results of the observations that have been made, the ability of public speaking in Assunniyyah Islamic Boarding School is still not optimal, this is the basis for us to carry out public speaking assistance for Assunniyyah students in order to improve their ability and confidence in public. The mentoring method used is Empowerment-Based Research (EBR), which focuses on the active involvement of the supported community in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the programme. While the training method used is the drill method, which emphasises repetition in activities or practice with what has been learned by each student. The results of this service are increased self-confidence and broader public speaking skills of the students. This increases the value of the students

Abstract

Workshop activities are carried out as a result of advances in information technology, data processing becomes a very crucial thing, especially in the context of research and development of science. Where the need for science and knowledge is increasing in mastering the software used in data analysis of a study. This activity aims to increase participants' knowledge of the concept of Structural Equation Modeling with parameter estimation using the Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method, (2) Improve participants' ability to process data using the Smart-PLS data processing application, (3) Interpret the results of data processing or output from the software in order to improve the quality of research. The method used is the lecture and practice method. The number of participants who attended the workshop was 23 people consisting of academics and students. The results of the training showed an increase in participants' understanding and their ability to use SMART PLS. The conclusion of this training is that mastery of PLS-SEM is important for improving the quality of research, and this kind of training can contribute positively to research.

Abstract

This community service aims to develop hydroponic plant cultivation in Masalap Raya Village, in order to improve technology-based agricultural skills and support the economic sustainability of the local community. This service design uses a participatory and practical approach, or commonly known as Pactipatory Action Research (PAR). This mentoring program is implemented through several stages, starting from basic hydroponic technique training, direct field practice, to evaluation to assess progress and provide further support. The results of this program show that the majority of participants successfully applied hydroponic techniques and obtained the first results from the plants they cultivated. Participants also demonstrated significant improvements in knowledge and skills in managing hydroponic systems. However, several obstacles related to system maintenance and business management are still faced. For this reason, further support in the form of counseling and training related to agricultural business management and marketing of hydroponic products is provided to the community. This program is expected to have a positive impact on improving agricultural skills, efficient management of agricultural businesses, and the economic welfare of the people of Masalap Raya Village.

Abstract

The development of the 21st century requires students to be skilled in solving problems in a structured manner and in accordance with scientific principles. Creative thinking skills are one of the main components that are the basis for students because creative thinking skills focus on exploring ideas, producing innovative solutions, finding many correct answers to provide innovative solutions that are rarely put forward by others. Creative thinking emphasizes the responses given by students in solving problems using appropriate methods or approaches. The creative thinking process begins with students identifying problems, conducting evaluations, formulating hypotheses and reviewing hypotheses from various perspectives to communicate the results of their thinking. The application of the Integrated PJBL Remap PjBL learning model can accommodate and help students create new ideas (think creatively) from different perspectives. The Remap learning model is a learning model that requires students to carry out reading activities to obtain various types of information, then they pour it into the form of a concept map to see the concepts built by students in a hierarchical and continuous manner.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah PPM activities are carried out at PCM Banguntapan Selatan, Bantul, targeting the elderly who live in the PCM Banguntapan Selatan environment. The conditions of the elderly in the Banguntapan environment are very diverse, but one thing that must be underlined is that they are people who need to be accompanied, not only because of physical problems that are getting older but also because of circumstances that are no longer crowded when they were young, when they could still interact with friends regularly. And most importantly, how can we be consistent with religious values? So, a community that can restore happy memories, closeness and enthusiasm in practising religion is a real need. The implementation of this service activity includes: 1) Providing material about Islam and Health; 2) Holding SEHATI gymnastics regularly as a forum. Results: The realisation of the effectiveness of community-based preaching. Second. Increasing understanding of maintaining health from an Islamic perspective with the concept of halal-thoyyiban. Community-based preaching is a preaching method developed by PCM Banguntapan that targets the elderly who live in South Banguntapan, including Potorono, Jambidan, and Wirokerten. This was chosen for several reasons, including the need for a forum to form a community together. This togetherness has created intimacy, joy and has a positive impact on physical and spiritual health.

Abstract

Bayem Village, located in Kasembon Subdistrict, Malang Regency, possesses rich natural and cultural potential that is highly promising for tourism development. However, the promotion and management of these resources remain suboptimal, thus limiting their contribution to the local community’s welfare. This community service program aims to optimise the use of the MATIC platform (Malang Regency Tourism Intelligence Centre) as a digital and data-driven tool for promoting and managing tourism destinations in Bayem Village. The activities are carried out through training sessions for residents and tourism managers, covering skills such as tourism data management, creative promotional content creation, and digital marketing strategies to attract more visitors. Additionally, the program includes the formulation of data-based promotional strategies, updating of tourism information on the MATIC platform, and ongoing technical assistance. Through the utilisation of this information technology, it is expected that there will be an increase in tourist visits, strengthening of community capacity in tourism management, and the realisation of sustainable destination management in Bayem Village.

Abstract

The main objective of this activity is to improve students' understanding of national values ​​and basic Scouting skills that are important in character building. The method used in this mentoring is an interactive approach by utilizing discussion groups, educational games, and the use of visual materials that are adjusted to the conditions of the students. KKL students also try to adapt the material according to the level of understanding and interests of the students, so that the learning process becomes more interesting and effective. The results of this activity show that the mentoring that was carried out succeeded in improving students' understanding, especially in understanding the importance of the values ​​of friendship contained in the History of Red and White and basic skills in Scouting. However, several obstacles, such as differences in student ability levels and limited supporting facilities, became obstacles that affected the smoothness of learning. The conclusion that can be drawn is that the mentoring material carried out by KKL students is effective in improving students' understanding, although there needs to be an increase in interaction with students and the use of more interesting media. Recommendations for the next mentoring activity are increasing the involvement of parents and teachers and the use of more modern learning aids to support a more comprehensive and sustainable learning process
