Abstract

Stepper motors are one of the motor variants that are widely used in the manufacturing sector. Stepper motors have the characteristic of being able to be controlled both speed and position control in an open loop control system. The method used to control the rotation of the stepper motor is to send a series of electrical pulses with a configuration of frequency values and number of electrical pulses so that the stepper motor can control the rotational speed and angular position of the motor. Acceleration-deceleration control applies a method of gradually changing the frequency of electrical pulses by increasing the frequency every 4mS until it reaches the target frequency value. By applying the acceleration-deceleration method, the stepper motor is capable of rotating at a speed of up to 3000 rpm and the motor rotation angle position is from 10o-360o precisely, this acceleration-deceleration method can rotate the motor at a controlled speed of up to 3000 rpm.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to develop an audit strategy for information system security at XYZ General Hospital, perform a comprehensive security assessment of the REMPEYEK (Electronic Service Medical Record) information system, and provide recommendations for improvement. Quantitative research is a methodology that involves the collection of data through direct assessment of the individuals or entities under investigation. In addition, the COBIT 5 tool is employed to analyze the gathered data in order to acquire a quantitative capability analysis. This study examines the COBIT 5 framework's relevance to the identification of business objectives for information system security in the context of the Rempeyek information system. The identified problems and obstacles in the system include inadequate budget management, insufficient coordination between Diklitbang and the units involved in application development, and a misalignment between information technology systems and security measures. The findings of the assessment on the maturity of the information system security indicate that the DSS05 and APO13 domains have achieved a level 2 status, known as "Managed Process." The capability values for these domains are recorded as 2.02 and 2.68, respectively. This suggests that the relevant procedures have been effectively executed, supervised, and regulated.

Abstract

Weather conditions are important to know because they have an impact on various human activities, such as agriculture, infrastructure, hydrology, and more. Several factors affect the weather, including wind speed, temperature, and air humidity. However, in this study, a mini weather station was designed to provide information not only on wind speed, temperature, and humidity but also on solar radiation. The research employed several sensors, including the DHT11, anemometer, and pyranometer. The research results indicate that the DHT11 error indoors is 1.4%, but it increases to 9% outdoors. The pyranometer shows a 3.62% error from direct solar radiation measurements. However, the wind speed sensor is still unstable, suggesting the need for improvement in future research.

Abstract

Piko Hydro Power Plant (PLTPH) is one of the power plants that uses water as an energy source. Piko hydro is included in the category of hydropower with small power because there is no need to use too large a water discharge to produce power. The tool developed in this study is a Piko Hydro Power Plant by Utilizing Irrigation Flow. The purpose of the research is to determine the results of the development of Piko Hydro Power Plant equipment, the electrical energy produced, and the response of the community. The research method used is quantitative descriptive with the type of Research and Development (R & D) research and prototype development model consisting of 4 steps, namely needs analysis, building prototypes, installing, and evaluating. The research data obtained by making observations, questionnaires/questionnaires, and documentation. The results showed that the pico hydro power plant worked well, indicated by the excellent product validation value. The waterwheel at the plant has a maximum power of 308 watts. In the development with the application of the MPPT type charger control regulator, results were obtained able to stabilize the electrical energy produced and increase the power capability of the power plant with the help of backup battery supply. For the results of the responses of the people of Kasambang Village, Mamuju Regency as many as 15 respondents, very decent results were obtained.

Abstract

Admission of new students is a routine activity carried out by schools every new school year. This activity aims to advance the school so that in its implementation a selection is needed. This selection is carried out in order to achieve a target of achieving the quality of prospective students. In this new student admission, a committee is needed to facilitate the activity. Currently, not many schools in Indonesia have implemented an online admission system. The purpose of this research is to design a web-based new student admission information system "SIPSB" and facilitate the registration of prospective new students to be more efficient. In designing this new student admission information system, the Object Orientred Analysis and Design (OOAD) method and the waterfall model are used. The use of the waterfall model in this study makes it easier for researchers to design information systems because there are several stages in system development, namely requirements analysis, system design, implementation, system testing, and maintenance. The results of this study show that the new student admission information system "SIPSB" is able to manage the web-based new student admission process more efficiently.

Abstract

In this era of Industry 4.0, technology is advancing rapidly, and various applications are emerging to help traders optimize their product procurement. One such application is the forecasting or prediction system. Serba Serbi Online Shop Tanjungpinang is a shop that requires this system to manage its inventory successfully. As the shop offers a wide variety of goods, managing inventory has become challenging. The capital spent on inventory has increased, and unsold goods are piling up in the warehouse. To overcome this issue, the shop needs to calculate the amount of inventory required to reduce the stock build-up in the warehouse. The prediction method used for this purpose is the least square method. This method uses periodic or time-series data, which requires past sales data to predict future sales. Historical sales data is necessary to develop an inventory prediction system. The sales data for a single item from July 2022 to May 2023 was analyzed using the Least Square method. Based on this analysis, the predicted sales for June is 144.64, rounded to 145. The accuracy of the prediction results were tested, and the best accuracy was obtained from the prediction using 3 months of data, with an error rate of 5.47%. The prediction with the highest error rate was obtained from using 9 months of data, with an error rate of 10.65%. On average, the prediction accuracy is 0.02154%, which is considered very good.

Abstract

There are still issues with a number of students parking their vehicles improperly in the parking spaces provided. This causes suboptimal parking capacity due to a lack of information about parking capacity. In recent years, at a certain library, vehicle detection has been implemented using a Gaussian mixture model algorithm using a Raspberry Pi. However, this library does not provide information about the density status of the parking area. Therefore, an information system was created to determine the level of density of the parking area based on the ratio of vehicles entering and exiting compared to the maximum capacity of the parking area. The system uses the Gaussian mixture model algorithm with the machine learning method of background subtraction MOG2, which can calculate the number of vehicles based on the difference between objects and the background of objects, using test data in the form of videos recorded using a camera positioned horizontally to the entrance and exit lanes of the parking area. This research resulted in an accuracy of 89.7% for Video1TA, precision of 93.2%, a crowded parking area density level, and a value of 129.12. Video2TA had a value of 101.08, precision of 100%, and accuracy of 90%, while Video3TA had an accuracy of 35%, precision of 56.7%, and a value of 49.48. The density levels of videos 2 and 3 are the same, indicating that the parking area is still empty. The test results show that the value can affect the system in detecting an object.
